Character descriptions

 

Joo Yeon (Shin Min Ah) is a surgeon at Sungsim General Hospital who lives with lifelong trauma due to an incident she faced when she was young. Having endured everyday life without being able to sleep due to nightmares, she one day comes across the frightening face she never wanted to see again.

(Park Hae Soo) is a witness who coincidentally witnesses an accident one dark night and makes a deal with a man trying to cover up this case. One day after wrapping up everything and returning to his everyday life, the deal they agreed upon is destroyed. He is a mysterious figure who reveals his unexpected nature.

Shin Min Ah's Next K-Drama Partner Will Reportedly be Park Hae Soo

Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo will reportedly lead a new crime thriller K-drama.

Media outlets reported on August 30th that Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo both received the offer to lead the new K-drama Bad Relationship.

Park Hae Soo's agency BH Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, "Park Hae Soo did receive the offer to lead the new K-drama and he is positively reviewing it."

Shin Min Ah's agency AM Entertainment also shared their side regarding the news. They stated, "Shin Min Ah received the proposal to star in the series and she is reviewing it positively."

Bad Relationship is a crime thriller K-drama that showcases the stories of people who are bad relationships, chase their own desires and destroy each other.

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Il Hyung, the same director of the films Remember, #Alive, and A Violent Prosecutor.

According to reports, Bad Relationship will have a total of six episodes.

There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and premiere date of Bad Relationship.

This will possibly be the first K-drama project of Park Hae Soo this year. The actor last starred in the 2022 Netflix K-dramas Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area and Narco-Saints

Park Hae Soo will also join the upcoming movie The Great Flood with Kim Da Mi and Lee Jae Woong

The actor is known for leading popular K-dramas such as  Narco-Saints, Squid Game, Prison Playbook, and more. 

Meanwhile, if Shin Min Ah decides to join Bad Relationship, this will be her third upcoming K-drama. The top actress will also lead the new K-dramas Because I Want No Loss and I am a Nurse, a Human

Shin Min Ah was last seen in 2022 hit K-drama Our Blues with Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Uhm Jung Hwa, and Han Ji Min.

Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo may be starring in a new drama together!

On August 30, STARNEWS reported that Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo will be starring in the upcoming drama “Ill-Fated Relationship” (literal title).

In response to the reports, a source from Shin Min Ah’s agency AM Entertainment shared, “Shin Min Ah received an offer to star in ‘Ill-Fated Relationship,’ and it is a project she is positively reviewing.” Shin Min Ah is currently also in talks to star in the rom-com “Because I Want No Loss” (literal title).

A source from Park Hae Soo’s agency BH Entertainment similarly shared, “It is one of the projects he has received an offer for and is reviewing.” Currently, Park Hae Soo is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film “The Great Flood” (working title).

Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Hee Joon, and Kim Sung Kyun are in discussion to join Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo in a new crime thriller K-drama.

According to the exclusive report of Star News on September 13, Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Hee Joon, and Kim Sung Kyun will be added to the main cast of the upcoming K-drama titled Bad Relationship.

Bad Relationship will narrate the stories of people who have unexpected bad relationships, chase their desires, and destroy each other. It will base its story on a Kakao webtoon of the same name. 

The upcoming crime thriller series will be the next project of director Lee Il Hyung, the same maker of the movies Remember, #Alive, and A Violent Prosecutor. It will be produced by Wolgwang, Wind Pictures, and Kakao Entertainment. 

According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will consist of six episodes in omnibus style. Earlier, Shin Min Ah and Park Hae Soo were reportedly the main leads of the K-drama. 

The broadcast channel and premiere date of Bad Relationship are still under discussion.

Lee Hee Joon got the offer to play the role of a freelancer who invests in coins. After negative returns, he is being chased by a private lender. 

Kim Sung Kyun on the other hand will portray the role of Gil Ryong, a person who got offered a huge amount of money for a difficult job. He recently lost his job and he badly needs to send money to his hometown. 

Shin Min Ah will play the role of Joo Yeon, a surgeon at Sungsim General Hospital. She lives in fear because of the trauma she experienced when she was a child. 

Meanwhile, Park Hae Soo got the offer to play the role of a witness in an accident. He made a deal with the perpetrator to cover up the happenings.

Shin Min-ah takes on the role of Joo-yeon, a surgeon at Sacred Heart General Hospital who lives with lifelong trauma due to an incident that occurred in her childhood, and Park Hae-soo takes on the role of Bo-wi-nam, who accidentally witnesses the accident scene on a dark night and has close dealings with a man who tries to cover up the incident. ‘Bad Love’ is produced by film companies Wolgwang, Baram Pictures, and Kakao Entertainment. On November 9, Netflix announced the main cast lineup of its upcoming drama “Karma” including Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon.

Based on a webtoon, “Karma” is a crime thriller that depicts the story of characters entangled in an ill-fated relationship which they cannot escape from even if they want to.

Park Hae Soo will play a character who accidentally witnesses a mysterious accident then transforms into a person who makes an irreversible deal. The deal seemed to have been concluded smoothly, but he faces unexpected development of an event due to his conflicting desires.

Shin Min Ah is confirmed to play a doctor who lives with lifetime trauma due to an incident she experienced as a child. One day, she encounters a person who she never wanted to meet again.

Lee Hee Joon will play a character who invests in cryptocurrency by taking private loans, hoping to get a lifetime fortune but ends up trapped in enormous debt with negative returns.

Kim Sung Kyun will take on the role of a character who falls into the shackles of an ill-fated relationship when he is commissioned to do a job with a large amount of money at stake after unfairly losing his job.

Lee Kwang Soo has been cast for the role of a successful oriental medicine doctor who runs a private hospital in Gangnam and can have everything he wants including an expensive car and women. The character’s successful life gets completely changed by a momentary accident.

Gong Seung Yeon will transform into the charming girlfriend of the successful oriental medicine doctor played by Lee Kwang Soo.

Netflix announced another confirmed original K-drama starring top Korean actors.

On November 9, Netflix released the cast lineup for the upcoming crime thriller K-drama Karma (Bad Relationship). Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Hee Joon, and Gong Seung Yeon will be leading the webtoon-based K-drama. 

The upcoming K-drama Karma (Bad Relationship) will be helmed by director Lee Il Hyung, the man behind the movies  Remember, #Alive, and A Violent Prosecutor. Moonlight, Wind Pictures, and Kakao Entertainment will produce the K-drama. 

Karma (Bad Relationshipwill base its story on the Kakao webtoon of the same name created by Choi Hee Sun. It will showcase the stories of people who have unexpected bad relationships, chase their desires, and destroy each other.

The upcoming series will have a total of six episodes. It will exclusively premiere on Netflix. Although the main cast lineup has been unveiled, the premier date of the crime-thriller K-drama has not been confirmed yet.

Shin Min Ah will return to a doctor character who has trauma because of her childhood. One day, she meets the person who inflicted her trauma and decides to take revenge.

Lee Hee Joon will give life to a character who will do anything to earn money because of his enormous debt. He is in a mountain of debt because he was obsessed with investing in cryptocurrency. This led him to borrow from numerous private loan sharks. 

Kim Sung Kyun will play the role of a character who ends up in a troubled relationship after losing his job unfairly. He's then faced with a job opportunity that can pay a lot but also haves with its own significant risks. 

Meanwhile, Lee Kwang Soo and Gong Seung Yeon will work closely together. Lee Kwang Soo will be a successful doctor who owns a private hospital in Gangnam. He is successful in every aspect of his life but all this changes after a sudden accident.  

Gong Seung Yeon on the other hand, will play the role of Lee Kwang Soo's character's beautiful girlfriend.

Long-time celebrity couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin continued to show their affection and support toward each other.

 

On March 22, photos of a coffee truck sent to the filming location for Shin Min Ah's upcoming drama 'Karma' surfaced online. The coffee truck was sent by her boyfriend of 9 years, Kim Woo Bin. The coffee truck was decorated with lovely pink roses with various photos of the actress.

On the top of the banner, Kim Woo Bin wrote the message, "All the staff and cast members of 'Karma' have strength!! I support you fully! (especially, I support Shin Min Ah very much). From Kim Woo Bin."

 

The two have always shown their support for each other by sending coffee trucks to the film location for their projects. Even in the past, Shin Min Ah sent a coffee truck to Kim Woo Bin's 'Officer Black Belt' film location.

 

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah have been in a public relationship for nine years since they admitted to dating rumors in July 2015.
