We just watched the Final Episode of CAD. What a GLORIOUS, SUBLIME, POWERFUL, CONSUMING and BEAUTIFUL message to ALL humankind.

 

Especially the part where PEB gave her final speech about the SUNLIGHT that helped her throughout all the years of her hardships, pain, suffering and wanting to just die. Episode #12 just put all the things together that happened in her life/other people's lives and wrapped it all up in beautiful BLUE (Mok Ha's color) bow/ribbon. What a story! So very compelling, powerful, meaningful and relevant in this chaotic world.

 

I could literally feel my heart thumping out of my chest. That I could not hold it in. I was crying my eyes out. You know that feeling were you have all these emotions and it is trying to escape from your chest? That is how I felt in this Final Episode of CAD.

 

We were so honored to have been part of Seo Mok Ha's journey in life. What an impression she had on us.

I think what PEB is singing in CAD is called a CST not an OST.

 

OST is usually background songs or music that is produced by a Major Label. OST usually have nothing to do with the script but can affect the mood or tone of the show. CST or Composite Soundtrack is sung by one or more of the cast members. These are songs or music that usually have something to do with the storyline. These are tracks that have many takes, have dialogue involved with the show and other sound effects. PEB's CST songs are not produced by a Major Label (yet).

I really hate to bring CJH into this forum and I am still shipping Robin deep down but man i am not sure what kind of magic CJH had but it help me break that crazy spell of PEB has to be paired with KSW and vice versa and them with anyone else, I have trouble watching.  
They are only 8 months age difference too despite CJH is quite the babyface brings them closer to the character as well as the second male lead is older than them both.  It was such a well casted series.  I do notice PEB protect CJH a lot in the variety show and promotions.  Not sure if his real personality is super shy or what and he lets her protect him like when he had to dance to blackpink and you can he was awkward she grabbed his arm and went with him.  PEB is just amazing. 
 

How are things going the MM world with KSW? Sorry I have not continued watching past episode 2 since I had a lot of personal things to handle. 
 

Despite how much I adore CJH, I do still see that PEB’s closeness to KSW is still unmatched.  No couple pictures or selca unlike the TKA era and of course no extra kisses thrown in.

I agree with you. First there was no kissing (except the one in his imagination which remained the best till the end), then there were multiple interrupted kisses (what was really annoying after it happened for the third time) and in the end there were too much kisses or let’s better say pecks that didn’t really transmit much emotion, at least for me. I liked the more steamy kissing scene towards the end, because the whole scene was beautifully done, but this kiss wasn’t meant to be heartwarming and sweet..

And that is exactly why I still believe that there is something special between her and KSW. In his presence she didn’t have to be the strong and leading one. KSW didn’t need to be protected by her, even though he is even younger than CJH. She could let herself go, at least a little bit. She seemed to feel safe with him. She let her guard down, what seemed unusual for her, and just with him she sometimes even seemed to turn into the little girl, that is still in her (and all of us), when she was around him…

Unlike DWY, I am really fond of MM. It has a huge cast and a lot of different storylines (all surrounding the matchmaking business they have to do ), so the love story of the main leads is developing slowly, but I like it that way. The whole cast is great and the cinematography is stunning. Tomorrow EP10 will already be airing and I am really looking forward to how the story will develop.
Also you can see that the production was selected for funding of the ministry of culture and therefore has a very high budget. Everything, like costumes and settings, has high quality and is seemingly very original to the corresponding era in Joseon dynasty.

KSW is doing a great job and once again proving his acting skills and comedic timing. He recently said in an interview that he chose MM because he is not good in historical dramas and wants to become better at it.

„The reason why I chose historical dramas is because I am not good at it and I am not confident. You have to keep learning to be good at it, with the mindset that I‘ll improve as I learn. I am the type of person that constantly doubts comfortable things.“

I really recommend to continue watching it when you feel that you have the time and mind for it ❤️

REALLY, REALLY, REALLY enjoyed a lot  of CAD. PEB is really our endorphine. It will take time that I can move on of this drama. The message on behind we really possitive for the everyone of us, who has to facing lot of up and down situation, and of couse continue following our dream is one of the life motivation, which we have to always keep in mind for those struggle moments.

Everyone of CAD have done a great job, PD, script writter, the cast. Everyone of the cast have done very perfect job. The family members, the Idol agency members, the child actors ( all of them ). No one did anything not in their place.  Even the evil father made us belive that he is bad enough to make us how nice is the father Lee. Normally a romcom uses to focus and focus on the ML/FL couple, but this one has balance enough to put every member the simular level as well as the couple. I don´t know if I can express well, I could see that everyone has their own story and the final episode resolve the struggle of each one to foresee a happy future. 

 

Changing the topic of CAD and coming back to ROBIN, I have the crazy idea in mind that the agency of PEB and Rowoon use to come to this forum to check the  opinion of international viewers. I could realized that the romatic scene has done after check the feedback of the audience, in the case of CAD the last shoot of PEB was the scene where she is with CJH in the roof top. Seems that they check the feedback of the audience and decide to put more or less kiss scene.  Imagine that my theory is true, I would like to pray that for Rowoon next drama, he could cast for a more serious genre. Even I like his acting as comedian, I think that it will bring him more sucess if he do some kind of serious ML caracter, such like in the story of DYW in the jeseon period.  For me the best part of DYW was that moment.  And even it will be better if the FL is PEB, that will guaranty sucess for sure.

I agree with you that their agencies probably have people to monitor the internet in search of every publication about their actors in order to get an opinion about how they are received in the public eye and also to detect things like rumors, false accusations or defamation.

But I don’t think that their research will have any direct influence on the number of kisses that is determined by the scriptwriter and maybe the director of a drama production.

Let’s take DWY, because you mentioned it. I believe that the overall reception differs from its reception in this forum. Twitter is still full of postings, clips and gifs about DWY, praising the chemistry of the main leads and loving all their handholding, hugging and kissing. So what’s bad for the one (too much kissing), might be good for the other (so much kissing). Sometimes we have to leave our own perspective to get a wider view.
In DWY RW‘s character was supposed to be experienced in all fields of a relationship. So the kissing came easy and his character was taking the lead in almost every of the (many ) kisses.

Whereas in MM he portrays such an innocent and pure man that, at the age of 25, has never even held hands with a woman, as he almost immediately became a widower after his marriage and isn’t allowed to remarry. 10 episodes in, and no kissing on the horizon .
Yes, MM is labeled romantic comedy, and it is light and funny, but there’s also a serious side to it. We learn about the circumstances widowers had to deal with at that time and how they eventually overcome those difficulties and grief. 
I trust in RW’s choices and I believe that MM is or was a good learning opportunity for him to once become the actor he wants to be. He is still young and I understand that he wants to try different genres.

And I agree with you on the past lives storyline to be the best in DWY

I guess since we raised the discussion about KSW lifting JBA in DWY, I just watched a BTS of CJH lifting PEB in the BRS during their kissing scene rehearsal.  I must say pretty darn sweet and PEB didn't seem to set any boundaries but like a little girl.  I think she even joked that she only ate cookies that day so it would be easier for CJH.  They seem very relaxed during that filming part and for a second it seemed to me like as if she was going to lay her head on CJH’s shoulder after they called cut.  i guess we had a lot of discussions about KSW during the DWY era and for PEB during WYW, to me there wasn’t anything overly romantic or cute between and the male lead but for CAD, it definitely would give KSW heart a little challenge, I think

Gosh!  PEB is at the top of her game but looking at the making/BTS of CAD, she's still so modest and humble and kind to everyone.  

 

If she ever decided to give love a chance irl and if it affects her career as a FL, she definitely has a future as a director!  This woman is SO SO talented!

PEB should have a tag or warning label attached to her side: "Fall at your own risk".

Let’s take DWY, because you mentioned it. I believe that the overall reception differs from its reception in this forum. Twitter is still full of postings, clips and gifs about DWY, praising the chemistry of the main leads and loving all their handholding, hugging and kissing. So what’s bad for the one (too much kissing), might be good for the other (so much kissing). Sometimes we have to leave our own perspective to get a wider view.
In DWY RW‘s character was supposed to be experienced in all fields of a relationship. So the kissing came easy and his character was taking the lead in almost every of the (many ) kisses.

Whereas in MM he portrays such an innocent and pure man that, at the age of 25, has never even held hands with a woman, as he almost immediately became a widower after his marriage and isn’t allowed to remarry. 10 episodes in, and no kissing on the horizon .
Yes, MM is labeled romantic comedy, and it is light and funny, but there’s also a serious side to it. We learn about the circumstances widowers had to deal with at that time and how they eventually overcome those difficulties and grief. 
I trust in RW’s choices and I believe that MM is or was a good learning opportunity for him to once become the actor he wants to be. He is still young and I understand that he wants to try different genres.

And I agree with you on the past lives storyline to be the best in DWY

There are some YT pages and their resepctive creators in legal hot water for claiming that the girl playing the young Mok Ha is the "real" singer of the song "Dream Us" just because she was featured on the video. Huh?

 

If that is true. Why not claim that the lady playing Yun Ran Jo and the lady playing Eun Mo Rae also sang the songs that PEB originally sang, while they are at it? hahahahaha.

 

PEB is the legal and rightful singer of the song Dream Us. PEB (and possibly her company) has claimed rights to the song Dream Us. Both the Acoustic and Original Version.
