LJJ says that he is like a dam by himself. Sometimes it is filled with water,

Thus my twisted personality had misunderstood Lee Jung-jin’s gentleness.

So I dared to suspect that his gentleness shoud be directed overly like many actors.

However　my prediction was wrong. Because of my poor arrangement,

he had to wait for 30 minutes with his hair making. And he didn’t frown in such a bad situation.

In the interview room, which was rather noisy, he wasn’t bothered at all

and behaved cool as if he had been shot by a video camera.

Moreover he was gentle enough to speak frankly

and to try hard to give his messages as correctly as possible.

He is a difficult interviewee in a particular sense.

He isn’t a so-called oyster who gives a blunt reply to interviewers’ exquisite questions.

On the contrary, he gives long and precise answers to any small questions one by one to make him understood clearly.

Therefore our dialogs became a kind of crossover,

I mean; he talked about from recent entertainment world’s atmosphere and its system to his outlook on marriage.

For me, the editor to write articles, he is nothing but a hard interviewee.

What should I choose among a lot of his comments? How can I interpret his sincere messages correctly?

The interview with this man and writing an article of it seem to be a really hard assignment.

And it is an interesting assignment too.

How do you like your life as an actor in Korea?

You were discharged from service in April last year. It’s been a year and a half,

but you only appeared in a TV drama 9 End 2 Outs in 2007, didn’t you?

I’m afraid your fans that had been longing for your return may think you are neglecting of duty as an actor.

LJJ: Actually we had been preparing a movie after the TV drama.

Big Burglars was a story of stealing experts who enter rich families only.

I myself went to an action school for 3 or 4 months. If the filming began on schedule,

it could have been on the road show around now. All the casting and script reading were finished though,

filming delayed and delayed, and then it was canceled around August.

So I wasn’t able to show me to you for a long while. Anyway in the next month,

I will appear in the MBC drama, I Love You, Don’t Cry and the other movie Young Mobs' Song will crank in.

So I’ll have a lot of chances to see you.

What kind of characters are you playing? I hear those two are quite different.

LJJ: In Young Mobs’ Song, I will be a tough leader among 4 fellows who often have made troubles since high school days.

They weren’t able to finish schools and have no jobs now. They are so called losers in their thirties.

The 4 will pretend to be spies from North Korea and commit bank robbers. In I Love You, Don’t Cry,

I will be an elite architect, a single daddy. He is very calm and strict to himself

because he has a behind story of bitter love. He has a lot of conflict about love

and at the same time he is a very warm person. He looks cold,

but becomes very warm to his sweetheart and his son. I may say he has a multiple character.

When I was walking around Apkjung-dong, I saw you by chance.

I was impressed by your nonchalant look. You were unlike actors.

Do you have any difficulty being between the actor LJJ and the the private LJJ?

All the actors have some difficulties. I would like to be indifferent to public attention.

I go out to see my friends at ease. I sometimes go up mountains just with a cap and a mountain jacket.

People doubt if I will be LJJ first, but when they become aware of me, we pass by each other saying hello

and thank you. I hope my private life will be interpreted as it is.

Actresses will feel difficult if their private lives become swollen rumour. It’s the case with me.

We often hear sad news among the entertainment world, don’t we?

The film industries itself aren’t in a good condition. Totally all people are having hard time now. People around me are depressed and worried about. But such worrying is no effective solution. Actors and singers should go on to appear in TV or films and should be more active. It will be a certain answer to this hard situation.

To be an actor means that he/she is always lit by spotlights

and makes living with his/her popularlities.

On one hand they may live gorgeous lives;

on the other hand they might get a lot of stress.

How do you care of yourself?

In my case, I go up mountains, do sports, meet my friends and so on.

Once my senior actor said to me, ‘Film stars and TV stars are much more loved by people

than ordinary citizens. So we must pay return to those people.

That means stage show with singers and filming with actors.’

We always make effort thinking that, but we are individuals as well as entertainers.

Human will cry when they are sad, will suffer from pains and feel lonely…

However when such feelings are hidden, bad accidents may happen like recent days.

Most foreign actors and sportsmen have their own home doctors, don’t they?

When they finish a work, they always consult with their doctors and save new energies.

But in my country, people consider those persons as mental patients.

Say, we’ll go to mental clinics in order to prevent from more serious problems.

But because of people’s bias they tend to hide their problems.

People naturally ask too much of entertainers.

It will be OK, but they are too irresponsible for each entertainer’s private situation.

They talk rumors about them, and then deny the rumors at ease.

No one will be responsible for such sad results.

Is Lee Jung-jin a common person?

You give us a strong image of　Om-chin-a
