Synopsis and Plot Summary:

A story about an adorable post-95 girl who thought that she struck gold sitting next to the class genius only to find that things don't go as planned.

After transferring to a new school, Lin Xingchen (Rain Lyu) becomes seatmates with Lu Yibai (Sun Zeyuan). Lin Xingchen keeps running into trouble yet her experiences in the past help her stay calm in the face of adversity which Lu Yibai finds puzzling. Since then, the unlucky Lin Xingchen and everyone's ideal guy Lu Yibai grow closer as they chase after their dreams.

Wow.. this drama is really better than I expected. While the Ml is a tsundere, he actually has a proper school life in the sense that he gets along well with his classmates. The girl isn't downright stupid too. She actually passes her classes and is more naive/gullible than stupid. Their friends in school are also really nice. And for once, the guy actually makes effort to protect and pursue the girl. He even gets jealous with the SML. Shocking, especially since the guy is the smartest in class (So different from Jiang Chen or anyone else in other school dramas right? lol).

 

I would say this drama is a mix of Itazura na kiss, A love so beautiful, and All I want for love is you. A very cute school drama. Can't wait to watch the rest of the 22 episodes once it's available.
