We know Zio likes sports. And we see him  a nlot in pics wearing baseball uniforms. He is known to play for his baseball team, Albatross in a celebrity baseball league, sponsored and organized by Hanstar Media.
It's winter and very cold in korea now, probably that's why they organized a basketball tournament instead. The celebrities form and participate in basketball teams, and Zio also played for his team, Hoop Stars.

These seven teams are battling it out for the league championship title. After the playoffs, the top four teams will advance to the finals and compete for the trophy. Each match is to be held on a Thursday (some matches to be held on Wednesday or Friday) at 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00. The matches will be literally dotted with stars; the actor Seo Ji-suk will be leading the Arts and Physical Education team and actor Oh Ji-ho, singer Park Jin-young, singer John Park, former GOD member Kim Tae-woo, SHINee member Min-ho, 2AM member Jeong Jin-woon and professional soccer player Lee Chun-soo will also be appearing on court. In addition to the celebrity basketball team of KBS entertainment program “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education”, the remaining teams are “Atti”, “Jinhon”, “Rainbow”, “The Hole”, “Hoop Stars” and “Women Press”. All tournament matches are free, but a ticket must be presented to enter the venue. The “Hanstar Celebrity Basketball Festival” for multicultural families will open on January 15 in Yongin. It is the first-ever celebrity basketball tournament in Korea.

The tournament will consist of seven teams, six of which (“Ahddi,” “Cool Kiz on the Block,” “Jinhon,” “Rainbow,” “The Hole,” and “Hoop Stars”) will be composed of celebrities. The seventh, “Women’s Press,” will be composed of the nation’s top women’s basketball players, including previous national representatives and still active professional players.

Over 10 weeks, from January 15 to March 19, the seven teams will go head to head on the court. Four teams will go to the playoffs, and the winner will be determined by a championship game. A total of three basketball matches will take place every Thursday, one at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and then at 7 p.m., KST. MBC Sports Plus will always live broadcast the 5 p.m. games but will broadcast only one of the other two games.

“Hanstar Celebrity Basketball Festival” is organized and sponsored by MBC Sports Plus and Hanstar Media, the entities behind the ongoing four-year-old celebrity baseball league.

The opening match on January 15 will be between “Rainbow” and “Jinhon.” It will be followed by an opening ceremony and then two more games, “Cool Kiz on the Block” vs. “Ahddi,” and “The Hole” vs. “Women Press.”

The team rosters are as follows:

“Cool Kiz on the Block”: Seo Ji Suk, Park Jin Young, John Park, g.o.d’s Kim Tae Woo, Julien Kang, among others.

“Ahddi”: Lee Se Jun, SHINee’s Minho, Shin Yong Jae, Ryan Kim, and David Oh, among others.

“Jinhon”: Lee Sang Yoon, Lee Ki Woo, Lee Chun Hee, Shin Sung Rok, and Son Heun Su, among others.

“Rainbow”: 2AM’s Jung Jin Woon, Lim Hyung Suk, Na Yoon Kwon, and Heo In Chang, among others.

“The Hole” aka the gagman team: Lim Hyuk Pil, Song Joon Geun, Kim Jae Wook, Yoo Min Sang, Kim Ji Ho, Park Hwee Soon, among others.

“Hoop Stars”: Double K, Sangchu, No Min Hyuk, Shim Ji Ho, Oh Jong Hyuk, and Kim Heung Soo, among others.

Although the tournament started on 15th January, Hoop Stars had their first gameagainst another team, 'The Hole' on 22nd January,2015. It was a tight match. Finally, HoopStars won 48-40. His team mate, actor Kim Seung-hyun was picked as the MVP.

From whai i understand from the above article, it was a tense and defensive game and up to the 3rd quarter of the game, noone can say who was going to win. Only in the 4th quarter that it became obvious that Hoop Stars were getting points over points, and later won 45-33.



This vid is specially focussed on Shinee Minho but we can see Zio playing too. Nice to see him having fun on the court. Zio number 23 for Hoop Stars.
