Cast and Crew of “Reply 1988″ to Travel Overseas After Filming as a “Vacation Reward”

tvN‘s cast and crew of “Reply 1988″ will be taking a well-deserved break after filming is over! The 170 staff members, including cast and crew, will be leaving for Phuket on January 18 in honor of the series’s conclusion.

A representative of the series confirmed on December 14 that, “The [plans] to go on a trip as a reward [for finishing the series] were confirmed last Friday.” He added that, “The last episode, episode 20, will be airing on January 16 of next year. We’re going forward with the plan to leave two days after the final broadcast, January 18; and we’re planning on staying in Phuket for five days and four nights.”

To date, ten actors, including Sung Dong Il, have confirmed their participation. Other cast members are currently discussing their schedules with their agencies. Girl’s Day‘s Hyeri is scheduled for a foreign concert in January, and although her participation is unclear, her agency is in the middle of arranging plans so she can try to take part in her first “vacation reward” trip. Two years ago, the cast of “Reply 1994″ also traveled overseas to Saipan following the completion of filming for a vacation reward.
