The Korean court has ordered reconciliation in the lawsuit between JYP Entertainment on behalf of 2PM, and director Han Sa Min, the CEO of Dexter Lab. Unless one side repeals this decision within two weeks, it will be presumed that both sides are willing to reconcile.

Earlier, JYP Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Han Sa Min because “he stopped the filming of 2PM’s music video without consulting JYP Entertainment” this past June. According to JYP Entertainment, Dexter Lab refused to film their music video because of “conflict of interest due to another artist’s comeback preparations taking place at the same time as 2PM’s” just four days before the filming was scheduled to start.

As a result, 2PM had to delay their comeback schedule, which meant that they had to scrap their plans and start from scratch, including their filming schedule, release of the album, and promotion plans.

However, Dexter Lab refuted this, saying that “There was no formal contract, and we had not agreed on a filming schedule anyway.”

2PM eventually changed their director crew to a team from Naive Creative Production and came back on June 15 with their album “No.5.”
