MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” team confirmed on December 11 that the copy of Yoo Jae Suk’s contract currently floating around online was fabricated.

The “Infinite Challenge” team went onto say, “It’s not possible for the contract to be released to the public. Also, it looks clearly fabricated by the way the duration of the contract is noted.”

Yoo Jae Suk’s agency FNC Entertainment also asserted, “The contract is only open to the parties directly involved. There’s no way to know the validity of the content shown and if it’s real or not.”

Previously, there had been a post floating online claiming “Yoo Jae Suk’s appearance fee for ‘Infinite Challenge’ per episode” grabbing netizens’ attention. On the document, it said Yoo Jae Suk’s appearance fee per episode was more than 10 million won (approximately $85,000) and the duration of the contract was from April 23, 2005 through April 23, 2016. The fact the contract duration was for 11 years has everyone suspicious of the validity of the document in question.
