SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, “The Village,” held its press conference on October 6. At the press conference, director Lee Yong Suklisted three things his new drama does not have.
He began, “First, there will be no romantic aspect in this drama. It is a weird drama with no love-lines.” He further stated, “Secondly, there are no actors in this drama who cannot act. All of the actors and actresses in this drama, including Yook Sung Jae, are extremely talented people. Lastly, none of the actors know who the actual killer is. They will be guessing along with the viewers. All of the actors are scared that it might be them. It is rare for actors to be kept out on such an important detail in the script. That is what makes it more exciting for us. I hope the viewers will be just as excited.”

@Yanie_14 Drama finished! Well... one thing I regretted though... Why did I watch this in this time of night??? :tears::tears::tears: Let me tell you about my self a little.. I really, really.. as in really.. like to scare myself.  I liked to watch horror movies or dramas in the dead of the night and scare myself until the moment that I really can't sleep.

This drama in my opinion is the epitome of all suspense Korean dramas.  I love the jumpscares (yes!  there are some few jumpscares!) accompanied by a sudden loud orchestra music.  Moonie is still on fire on horror roles.  I think it's because of her big round eyes.  They get bigger when she's scared.  Good blend of Sung Jae's comedic acting.  Good thing there's a little bit of comedy here.  I'm really looking forward to this drama!  And please.. more scary scenes!!!~ :lol::lol::lol:

Watched 1st episode, it was solid episode.. just a pity I can't understand Korean :(

As expected MGY gives great performance, so do the other actors. Sung Jae is good too.. As does the little child actor.. It seems the PD is right. Everyone can act!

My suggestion: don't watch it during midnight and alone!! Just don't! Unless you're horror lovers, I really won't suggest anyone watch this alone in the dark..

The last part is really really scary, and you can def relate it esp when live alone.. I got goosebumps all over my skin.. haha :w00t::vicx:

Rating online today is 7,3%.

I hope rating TV is good and rating online ep 2 will increase too.

where can you get the online ratings?

I pray for higher TV ratings!

is that really scary???omoooo i like the horror story, but i always need someone who escort me.hehehhe

Its really interesting to read that all the actors still didnt know the murderer...so interesting!!

Okay, will be back with my review^^
