EXO’s Web Drama “EXO Next Door” to Be Aired as Small Screen Movie

It has been reported that EXO’s web drama “EXO Next Door” will be produced into a movie version and released on the small screen. “EXO Next Door” is a web mini series starring EXO that is a co-production of SM Entertainment and mobile messenger app LINE. It is currently being released through LINE as well as Naver TV Cast, not only in Korea, but also throughout other countries including China, Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan. The web series has been earning immense popularity around the world, recording over 10 million views on Naver TV Cast. This past May 13, CJ E&M released “EXO Next Door” at the 68^th annual Cannes Film Market as the re-produced movie version, which is said to have received endless offers from overseas buyers. Meanwhile, the movie version of “EXO Next Door” is expected to be revealed in Korea through IPTV, without a big screen release, although the exact date is still undecided. Source (1)
