It seems that 2014 is primed to become quite a year for fans of veteran Korean boy bands. According to a report by media outlet Sports Donga, Group S could be set to make a comeback, with a new four- or five- track mini album slated to drop in October this year. Group S is a three-member supergroup that consists of Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung, H.O.T’s Kangta and solo star and sometime actor Lee Ji Hoon. The group’s last project together, the 12-track studio album “Fr.in.Cl.,” was released in November 2003, meaning that fans have been waiting some 11 years for a comeback from the group. The group was especially famous for their hit song “I Swear,” taken from “Fr.in.Cl.” Group S will be hoping to repeat the success of g.o.d, another veteran boy band who released a comeback album this year after an extended hiatus.
