Seo Kang Joon Reveals 5urprise's Dorm Life

Actor Seo Kang Joon has been gaining attention for his handsome looks and talented acting skills, yet the rising star revealed the difficult dorm life he and his 5urprise (Korea’s first actor group) members have endured. On the May 4 broadcast of SBS' "Roommate," the actor revealed the conditions in which he and his acting group live. As the broadcast showed the 5urprise member sleeping on the ground together in one room, viewers could not help but feel sympathetic to the living conditions of the actors. 

In regards to his own feelings of living frugally with his acting members, Seo Kang Joon expressed, "We only eat ramyun in our dorms. Or sometimes we go to restaurants and eat Korean food , but we want to meat. Please buy us meat."

The broadcast also showed some of the members huddled around eating noodles from a pot. Despite the difficult times, Seo Kang Joon has never shown his discouragement; perhaps such is the reason as to the actor's continuing success.

Seo Kang Joon and 10 other celebrities feature in the new SBS variety show, "Roommate," in which 11 celebrities live in and share a house together. The new variety show broadcasts on Sundays at 4:20 PM (KST).
