"Daddy, Where Are We Going?" Ends Season with Emotional Last Trip

Recommended Posts

It is time to say goodbye to the lovely cast of MBC's "Daddy, Where Are We Going?"

On January 19, the dads and kids headed to Jeju Island to enjoy their last trip, and end the successful first season of the show. It has already been a year since cameras begun to capture the five families' lives, making it a trip to celebrate their first, and unfortunately last, anniversary.

While on Jeju, the cast visited Halla Mountain, the landmark of Jeju Island, and making everlasting memories by cooking delicious food and gathering around a campfire to open up about their feelings. After the trip, the cast members returned to their daily life. But to make the last episode bit more special, the production team had put together photo albums filled with nostalgic pictures and moments from the past year, and surprised the families by handing them the carefully prepared albums.

Not only did the photos touch the daddies and kids, but also the viewers. It was moving to see the seasons change and children grow, and reminisce the numerous travel stories. When the show first started, the episodes were filled with tears as the children had to leave their mothers, but much has changed since. Now, there is a special bond between the dads and kids, and time simply flies past as they have fun playing, traveling, and eating together.

As they flipped through the album and reminisced the past year, the daddies and children made a promise to go on a trip in the future as well. Through the show, they had realized the importance of spending time together and making unforgettable memories. Seeing the adorable children grow and the relationship between the family members develop, it must have been difficult for the viewers as well to bid farewell to the dads and kids.
