JK Rowling apologizes to Harry Potter fans for Fred Weasley's death

If you're still traumatised by Fred Weasley's death, then JK Rowling's latest tweet might ease the pain.

On the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, the author of the Harry Potter series apologized to fans for the Weasley twin's tragic death.

Rowling later revealed that she will apologize for one death per anniversary.

She admitted the Weasley twin was the hardest for her to write, so she started with him.

The author is currently working on the script for Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will begin shooting in the summer.
