From Park Bo Gum to BTS Jungkook, iconic long-haired handsome men in K-biz

The chronicle of “long-haired handsome men” in the entertainment industry has continued with various stars drawing huge attention.

Another long-haired handsome actor, Park Bo Gum, attracted attention with his long hair in 2018. At the press conference of tvN drama “Encounter”, Park Bo Gum said, “It seems that there is more interest in my hairstyle than in the work. I insisted on long hair because the shooting location seemed to suit it”, adding, “I also wanted to keep my hair long.”

 

From the first half of this year, Park Bo Gum will join forces with IU in the Netflix drama “You Have Done Well”, which will revolve around the lives of two people, who were born in Jeju in the 1950s, through the four seasons.

Production Team Of IU And Park Bo Gum’s Upcoming Drama Issues Apology For Causing Inconveniences During Filming

 

Upcoming Netflix series “You Have Done Well” (literal title) has apologized after inconveniencing locals while filming.

 

On April 26, a post was shared to an online community from someone who had come across a filming site for “You Have Done Well.” The post’s writer outlined their visit to the Gochang Green Barley Field Festival, where the drama was filming near the rapeseed field. They wrote that they were stopped from entering a certain area due to the drama’s filming, so they went in another direction to take photos of the rapeseed flowers. Although the drama filming was far away at this point, they added that they were told not to take photos.

Several people commented their similar experiences from this event, and while the drama was not explicitly named in the post, it was later revealed to have been “You Have Done Well.”

 

In response, the drama’s production company Pan Entertainment shared, “First off, we want to sincerely apologize to citizens who have experienced inconveniences. We tried to minimize inconvenience in the process of safe filming and preventing spoilers from leaking, but we apologize once again for failing to pay closer attention to those who spent their valuable time visiting [the festival].”

 

They added, “We deeply thank citizens for being understanding of our filming and we will work hard to be more careful in our filming process in the future too.”

 

“You Have Done Well,” with the Korean title written in Jeju dialect, will tell the adventurous life stories of Ae Soon and Gwan Shik who were born on Jeju Island in the 1950s. IU will play the role of the bold and rebellious Ae Soon while Park Bo Gum will star as Gwan Shik, a quiet but reliable character.

Also, the latter expressed gratitude to Song Joong Ki for his support during the filming of 'Love in the Moonlight' and his emotional speech left Song Joong Ki in tears. He mentioned that Song Joong Ki helped him find balance when he felt lacking while filming 'Love in the Moonlight'. Both then hailed from the same company, Blossom Entertainment. @backstreetboysfan  According to reports of Sports Today, the area where the festival was being held and where the drama filming took place is privately owned property. Furthermore, the Gochang-gun Office, which organized the festival, was not informed beforehand about the filming schedule for the K-drama on the same day. On the contrary, the production team for You Have Done Well had already signed a contract with the owner of the property and proceeded with the filming as scheduled. The property owner also confirmed that the production team had indeed signed a contract. So, I think there's a scheduling clash here.
