willenette
Top 10 K-Dramas Where He Fell First But She Fell Harder One of the most popular and beloved tropes in the world of K-Dramas is when the male lead falls in love with the female lead at first sight, but unfortunately for him, it takes quite a bit of chasing to make her fall in love with him too. However, once these lovely ladies do give in to their charms, they fall harder than ever. The tables are turned as the female lead then goes to the ends of the world to make him happy, and her boundless devotion towards him becomes more and more evident. If you're looking for K-Dramas where the ML fell first, but the FL fell harder, here are 10 recommendations you might enjoy! Note: This list is not a ranking. Spoiler Alert! 6. "Encounter" If poetic melodrama bordering on makjang is your cup of tea, there is no better romance than "Encounter". A rollercoaster ride of emotions is what this drama is, taking you through every stage of grief possible before rewarding you with the most satisfactory ending ever. The luminous Song HyeKyo plays Cha SooHyun, a successful but troubled CEO, and our resident King of Hearts, Park BoGum, plays Kim JinHyeok, her employee/personal sunshine. Throughout the drama, JinHyeok fights for their love, providing a safe space for SooHyun to build trust and let her guard down before she can fully accept their relationship. It pays off, without a doubt, and the happily-ever-after is as fulfilling as it gets. Zgm616
6 Charming Actors Who Perfectly Suited The Beauty Of Their K-Drama Characters Are you ready to see life imitate art? There are many actors who qualify as beautiful boys in K-dramas, but they aren’t always given the opportunity to play handsome characters. Stars like Cha Eun Woo, Rowoon, and Park Bo Gum are some of the lucky few who have been able to portray roles that also mirror their own appearance. Here are the stars who have similarities with their gorgeous characters. “Reply 1988” – Park Bo Gum The prince of K-dramas played a more subdued role in “Reply 1988.” His character was Choi Taek, a guy who is completely unaware of his attractive appearance. As the quietest heartthrob on this list, Park Bo Gum’s character in the drama is an expert Go player. Choi Taek has both brains and beauty! Park Bo Gum also diligently studied musical theater at Myongji University and graduated in 2018. He is a powerful force in the entertainment industry with his long line of K-dramas and films! No one was more qualified to play Choi Taek than Park Bo Gum. willenette
8 K-Dramas With The Rich/Poor Trope That You Don’t Wanna Miss A very common trope in the world of K-dramas is the rich/poor trope where one of the main leads is incredibly rich and the other lead is incredibly poor. This often adds to the romance and drama of the series in that the poor character is always trying to figure out a way to achieve their dreams in order to make more money. While doing this, there seems to always be a romantic relationship that develops. Here are eight K-dramas that have this trope that many have come to know and love. For more titles, check out part one of this feature here. 5. “Love in the Moonlight” Hong Ra On (Kim Yoo Jung) is a eunuch for Crown Prince Lee Young (Park Bo Gum). Lee Young is completely unaware that one of his eunuchs, who are all supposed to be men, is actually a woman. He starts to notice Ra On and is drawn to her, which leads him to take a lot of risks and make a lot of sacrifices in order to be with her. This series was a major hit domestically in South Korea and for obvious reasons. No one could get enough of the adorable chemistry as well as the story of the eunuch and Crown Prince. With the obvious rich/poor trope surrounding the story, it made things that much more sweet when the Crown Prince discovers that his eunuch is actually a woman. The prince wanting to jump through all those massive hoops to be with a eunuch is unheard of, which is why this story is so compellingly beautiful!
