From the translation online, the latest article from tenasia, where KSJ recommended the songs that she likes, seems to give us some interesting insights into what this girl is thinking.
I'm thinking KYK probably wants to concentrate on his career now. His past interviews suggests he had a tough childhood cos his dad passed away when he was very young, so I have a feeling he probably really wants to make it as an actor, so that he can give his family a comfortable life. And he is such a private person, so dating openly is probably out of the question for him.

Where are your interviews, KYK?

@mickymin True. I think KYK is really tired. I’m sorry to say that but he looks like hell. He has probably lost a lot of weight during the shooting of Plus Nine drama.He needs some sleep ASAP.

We’ve seen his pictures – going to fashion & signing events, shooting an ep for a Top model show, meeting friends (which is a good thing but time consuming) -  when does he rest?
And now, how can he rest if he has another drama to shoot?
Maybe it's just this picture, maybe there will be other ones, and we'll see his smiling face for once.
But I think it's just too soon to switch from one role to the other especially when his previous drama ended 2 weeks ago.
KSJ said she’s been missing her character (she still feels the connection to Se Young). What about KYK?
I mean, we don’t have a slightest idea what he thinks, because there are no interviews with him . . .

I really liked KYK’s acting in Plus Nine. I’ve seen some of his previews works, but the only one that I remember clearly is the role in White Christmas in which he played a real jerk (but he was good).
In Plus Nine his character was very loveable – really difficult not to like.
I think due to realistic acting, that Plus Nine PD supported, the actors really felt that they owned their characters.
I think that maybe sometimes it was really difficult to distinguish what was real/and what was acting.
Even Plus Nine PD said so, especially when talking about KSJ&KYK dynamic (that he didn’t see any difference between their off-screen/onscreen behaviour, they were too close/always hanging around for it to be just acting).
The other differences are:
- In Pinocchio it's the 2nd lead role for KYK; in Plus Nine it was the main role – the 1st one in his career (very important to him)
- Plus Nine was also his first acting project after his army service (again very meaningful)
- there was KSJ (same age friend) and he knew her from his previous MV project.  In Pinocchio everyone is younger. He knows Lee Jong Suk, because they did a film together (Hot Young Bloods) but I’m not sure if they are friends, and he also knows Lee Yu-bi (they did commercial together?/had photo shoot? in the past).

Maybe he just needs some time to adjust?

Why is he working like crazy?
It’s like he’s afraid to stand still for a little bit.
I guess, it’ true what he said about being afraid of lethargy and depression. He needs to be constantly moving forwards…

예뻐 예뻐 예뻐...그녀가 사무실에 들어서자 더필름의 <예뻐>가 들려 오는 듯하다. 예쁘다, 경수진. 지난 주 종영한 tvN 드라마 <아홉수 소년>의 여주인공 경수진을 만났다. <아홉수 소년> - 종영 소감은? > 인터뷰를 하니까 마무리한 느낌이 오는 것 같다. 드라마 속 '마세영'을 너무 좋아했다. 아쉽고 정도 많이 들고. 복합적인 감정이다. 미니시리즈 여주인공은 처음이라 긴장도 많이 했는데 감독님과 동료 연기자 스태프 모두 편안한 분위기에서 자연스럽게 촬영했다. - 극중 마세영 캐릭터가 아주 잘 맞던데. > 마세영 자체가 나랑 많이 비슷하다. 실제로 4살 차이 오빠가 있어서 남자아이 같이 털털한 면도 있고 또 막내라 애교도 많고, 밝고, 먹는 것 좋아하고... 90% 일치한 캐릭터였다. - 그럼 다른 10%는? > 먹어도 살 안찌는 44사이즈 폭식녀. - 무척 날씬한데? 아무리 먹어도 안찐다, 이런 망언을 부탁해도 되나? > (고개를 세게 저으며) 아니다. 너무 힘들다. 화면에 통통하게 나오고 또 원래 잘 붓는 편이라 노력을 많이 한다. <밀회> 끝나고 <아홉수 소년> 들어갈 때까지 아침저녁으로 운동하고 식이요법하고 아주 힘들게 살을 뺐다. 애초에 감독님께도 폭식은 자신있는데 44는 너무 힘들다고 말씀드렸다. - 김영광(진구)과 달달한 커플 케미가 돋보였다. 진짜 사귄다고 의심받지 않았나?(내내 궁금했다) > (당연하다는 듯) 워낙 같이 붙는 신이 많다. 알콩달콩 사랑싸움도 하는 신도 많고 촬영장에서 촬영을 하지 않을 때도 대사도 맞춰보고 서로 잘 챙겨준다. 그런 오해를 받는 것도 당연하다고 생각한다. 같은 87년생 친구라 티격태격 하기도 하고 통하는 것도 많고. 아, (김)영광이가 빠른 87이라 오빠다(웃음).



<수진씨 연애해요?>
- 털털해 보여도 국민 첫사랑 아닌가(경수진은 조인성, 김남길, 엄태웅 등 쟁쟁한 배우들의 첫 사랑 역으로 등장했다)? 왜 그렇게 첫사랑 역할을 많이 했다고 생각하나. > 나도 신기하다. 감독님들이 생각하는 첫사랑 이미지가 나와 비슷한가 보다. 다 내 복이라고 생각한다. 나는 감독님 복이 많다. - 그러다 <밀회>에서는 유아인을 짝사랑하는 역할을 했는데. > 20대 초반에 아주 굵고 깊은 짝사랑을 해봤다. 그 때의 감정이 <밀회>의 다미를 표현하는데 많이 도움이 됐다. - (밑밥) 그 사람이 첫사랑인가? > 그 사람은 그냥 짝사랑으로 끝났다. 첫사랑은 대학교 1학년 때였다. <아홉수 소년>의 진구(김영광) 같이 친구 같고 연인 같은 사람이었다. - (훅 찔러본다) 오늘 너무 예쁘다. 지금 연애 중인가? > (당황하지 않고) 아, 외롭다. 데뷔 후 쉴 새 없이 작품을 해왔다. 시간적 여유가 없고 일에 대한 욕심이 많다. - (미련을 가지고 또 찔러본다) 이성친구가 많을 것 같은데 남녀간에 친구가 가능하다고 보나? > 가능하다. 편한 관계를 잘 유지하는 편이다. - (우겨본다) 수진씨가 지켜도 남자들이 다가오지 않나? > (손으로 선을 그으며) 선을 정확히, 더 정확히 그어야죠. 지금은 일이 더 중요해요. - 이상형은? > (망설임 없이) 공유 선배님요. <커피프린스>에서의 모습이 멋졌어요. 같이 작품도 하고 싶고요.

<여배우 경수진>
- 데뷔는? > 드라마로서는 <적도의 남자>(2012)가 데뷔작이다. - 데뷔가 이른 편은 아닌데? > 어릴 때 부터 연기자가 꿈이었다. 중고등학교 시절에는 연극부 활동도 했는데 대학 진학하며 잠시 꿈을 접었다. 하지만 1년 다니다 다시 연기 준비를 했다. 연기만 해서는 생활이 안되니까 아르바이트해서 돈 벌어 연기 수업 받고 또 돈 떨어지면 다시 아르바이트하고. 이러느라 데뷔가 좀 늦었다. - 아주 씩씩하다. > 그런 편이다. 그때의 아르바이트 했던 경험들이 연기에 많은 도움이 된다. - 배우로서 여자로서 중요한 나이다. 지금 가장 중요하게 생각하는 건? > 일이다. 다양한 작품을 많이 해보고 싶다. 특히 사극에 도전해 보고 싶다. 여자로서는 싱글 생활을 더 즐기고 싶다. 결혼한 친구들이 부럽기도 하지만 아직은 다양한 경험을 쌓고 싶다. - 롤모델이 있다면. > 작품을 할수록 롤모델이 더욱 늘어간다. 여러 선배님들과 같이 연기하면서 내가 부족한 점이 더 잘 보인다. 어떤 한 분을 뽑기보다는 배우고 싶은 면이 각각 다 다르다. - 10년 후 모습은? > 10년 후? 결혼도 했을 거고, 그때까진 해야죠..했겠죠?(웃음) 선배님들처럼 관리 잘해서 멜로드라마나 멜로 영화의 여주인공을 했으면 좋겠다. '한 30분 흘렀을까?' 싶었는데 한 시간 넘게 이야기를 나누고 있었다. 처음엔 온 방안이 환해지도록 예쁜 미소에 끌렸고 인터뷰를 마칠 즈음엔 그녀의 일 욕심, 연기 욕심에 끌렸다. 여행을 간다면 어디로 가겠냐는 질문에 “제주도나 일본” 이러길래 왜 멀리 유럽이나 남미로 가지 않느냐고 다시 묻자 “금방 돌아올 수 있는 곳으로 갈래요. 전 일이 더 좋아요”라며 활짝 웃는다. 그녀의 욕심이 그녀를 여행보다 더 새롭고 멋진 곳으로 데려다 줄 것이라 믿는다. 그녀는 “다음 인터뷰 때는 사극 얘기도 했으면 좋겠에요”라며 인터뷰를 마무리했다. 그래요, 수진씨. 다음 인터뷰 때는 우리 사극 얘기도 하고 상대역 공유 얘기도 해요.

연애경험이 전무한 ‘모태솔로남’과 지구인이 맞나 싶을 정도로 완벽한 끼부림 ‘의자왕’, 세상에 두 분류의 남성만이 존재한다면 누구를 택하는 게 현명한 판단일까. 어느 한 쪽을 선택한다기 보다 모태솔로남의 순애보와 의자왕의 빠져도 빠져도 또 빠지게 되는 매력을 합친다면 그야말로 금상첨화겠지만 아무래도 선택은 쉽지 않다. 달라도 너무 다른 두 남자의 사랑을 한 몸에 받았던 ‘아홉수 소년’ 마세영 역의 경수진(28)에게 이 수수께끼와도 같은 난제를 제시했다.

경수진은 “저는 모태솔로보단 의자왕이요. 극중 ‘의자왕’ 진구(김영광 분)처럼 편한 연인 사이가 좋아요. 물론 세영이가 과거에 진구에게 받은 아픔이 남아 있겠지만, 많은 경험이 있은 후에 깨닫게 되는 진정한 사랑은 더욱 견고할 것 같아요. 한 때 의자왕이었어도 단 하나의 사랑을 찾았을 때는 오히려 한 여자한테 올인 할 수 있지 않을까요?”라며 대수롭지 않게 이야기를 풀어갔다.

우직하고 순수한 모태솔로의 서툰 연애가 귀엽고 진실되게 다가오긴 하지만, 대부분의 여자들이 적당한 선에서 연애 경험이 있는 남성을 선호하는 경향이 있는 것 같다고 되물었더니 “저 역시 리드해주고 여심 포인트를 아는 남자가 좋아요. 데이트할 때도 어색해지면 ‘뭐할까?’ 하고 대화를 이어가면 되는데 모태솔로는 주저하잖아요. 스킨십도 마찬가지고”라며 똑 부러지게 말했다.

의자왕과 모태솔로를 동시에 경험하는 일 또한 흔한 경험은 아니다. 마세영은 남자친구인 듯 남자친구 아닌 좋은 친구 재범(김현준 분)에게 진구를 좋아하는 마음을 확실히 하지 않았을 뿐 더러, 연애 이후에도 “만나는 사람 있다”고 확실히 말하지 못한다.

경수진은 “저도 ‘왜 말을 못해 이 바보야!’라고 말하고 싶을 정도로 답답했어요. 저랑 성격이 정반대에요. 실제 저는 선을 잘 긋거든요. 한편으론 재범이한테 진구에 대한 마음을 들키기 싫었던 것 같아요. 회사 동료이기도 하고, 진구와 재범이는 친한 친구인데 둘 사이를 어긋나게 할 수도 있잖아요”라며 마세영의 답답했던 면면들이 이해된다고 했다.

tvN 드라마 ‘아홉수 소년’에서 마세영(경수진 분)과 강진구는 직장 동료에서 연인으로 발전한 사내커플로, 알콩달콩 사내 비밀연애를 이어간다. 모두에게 사실을 말할 수 없는 두 사람은 서로를 맴도는 다른 직장동료와의 모습을 보고 이전과는 다르게 질투심을 느끼게 된다. 누군가는 남녀사이에 친구가 될 수 있다고 하지만, 다른 누군가는 호감 없는 이성친구 사이는 없다고 잘라 말한다.

경수진은 “저는 남녀사이에 친구가 될 수 있다고 생각해요. 선을 잘 지키죠. 이성친구지만 서로 편하려고 친구가 되는 거기 때문에 그 선만 잘 지키면 된다고 생각해요. 만약 호감으로 다가오면 확실히 선을 긋죠, 지익-”라고 말했다.

사내 연애나 캠퍼스 커플이 헤어질 경우 여자들이 더 피해를 많이 본다는 말에 공감한 경수진은 동종 업계에서의 만남에 개의치 않는다고 했다. 그는 “전 운명을 믿어요. 호감 가는 사람이 나타난다면 업종은 상관 없죠. 공개연애요? 경험은 해보고 싶긴 한데 글쎄요”라며 장난기 가득한 표정으로 말했다.

얼굴은 예쁜데 성격은 소탈한 여자들을 주위에서 가만히 놔둘리 만무하다고 하자, 경수진은 “저는 소개팅 하면 처음엔 외모밖에 볼 수 없는 게 싫어요. 성격을 알고 싶은데 그럴 수 없잖아요. 친구들한테 소개팅으로 만나는 건 싫다고 미리 얘기하죠”라며 솔직하게 털어놨다.

‘아홉수 소년’을 시청하는 여성 시청자들의 마음을 두근두근 거리게 만들었던 이유 중 하나는 87년생 동갑내기인 경수진과 김영광의 실제 커플을 방불케 하는 완벽 케미를 들 수 있다. 시작부터 끝까지 열애설이 불거지며 그 진위 여부에 관심이 쏠리게 했다.

이에 경수진은 “종방연 회식 때 감독님에게 ‘이거 뭐예요’라고 물으니까 쑥스러워 하시더라고요. 감독님은 둘 사이가 좋아 보인다고 했는데 기사 헤드라인에 대문짝 만하게 걸렸다고 70% 인디 음악만 얘기했는데 하나도 안 나왔다고 얘기하시는데 정말 웃기더라고요”라며 열애설을 해명했다.

87년생 동갑내기에 인천이 고향이라는 공통점 덕분에 김영광과 경수진은 스스럼없이 친해졌다. 하지만 경수진은 최근 빠른 87년생인 김영광과 호칭 정리를 확실히 끝냈다. “처음에는 친구였는데 갑자기 오빠라고 부르래요. 자기 생년월일을 보여주면서 빠른 87이라고요.(웃음)”라고 호칭이 바뀌게 된 일화를 공개했다. 김영광에게 퉁명스러운 말투로 “오빠! 됐냐?”고 말했지만, 학번 때문에 족보가 엉킨다는 생각에 한편으론 이해가 된다고 했다.

‘아홉수 소년’을 통해 경수진은 햄버거를 먹을 땐 종이 껍데기를 다 까지 않고 종이째 잡아 먹는 느낌으로 먹고, 왕돈까스는 소스에 찍어 거침없이 해치우는 ‘식신’ 마세영 역을 자신만의 캐릭터로 만들고, 털털하지만 사랑스러운 성격은 고스란히 캐릭터의 성격으로 묻어나며 남녀 누구에게나 사랑 받는 호감배우로 성장했다.

드라마 촬영이 한창 진행 중일 때 ‘아홉수 소년’이 창작뮤지컬 ‘9번 출구’를 표절했다는 주장을 듣고 힘들었을 법 했지만 “신경 쓰지 않고 최대한 밝게 연기했어요. 감독님과 작가님도 힘들 수 있겠다는 생각은 들더라고요. 현장에서는 그런 얘기도 아예 안 나왔고 재미있게 했어요”라고 주위 사람들 먼저 생각할 줄 아는 속 깊은 모습은 아마 작품 안팎에서도 드러났을 것.

고생 끝에 낙이 온다고 했던 가. ‘제2의 손예진’, ‘밀회’의 ○○, 수식어로 소개되던 경수진은 이제 자신의 이름 석자를 조금씩 알리며 원톱 존재감을 드러내고 있다. ‘더 나아가느냐, 지금에 머무르느냐’ 인생의 갈림길에 서 있는 경수진은 “일을 해야 하니까 여행은 제주도 아니면 일본으로 가고 싶어요”라며 조금의 휴식도 뒤로 미룬 채 다음을 준비하고 있다. 목표가 확실하기 때문에 지금은 멈출 수 없다는 게 그의 신념이다. “누구에게나 인정 받는 배우가 되고 싶어요. ‘경수진이 나오니까 이 드라마는 봐야 한다’는 얘기가 나올 정도로 믿고 보는 배우가 되었으면 좋겠어요.”

Itashee, I can not agree more with you about her taste in music ... I love her recommendations!
It's clear from her interviews that she wants people to focus more on her work, so it doesn't surprise me that she has dismissed KYK as a romantic interest. Both of them need to establish themselves as actors/actresses before they hit 30, and after working so hard to snag a leading role finally, and things are starting to look up for them, they are not going to jeopardise it. 
I'm glad KYK found good companionship in KSJ while filming P9B. He looks so lonely and awkward in his recent pictures and I'm just going 'awwww.....' every time I see a new pic about him. I wasn't planning to watch Pinnochio, but I might just watch it for him. Hope his mood perks up soon.
As for KSJ, I'm actually surprised she landed a leading role within the 3rd year of her acting career, considering:-She started late at 25 years old-She's from a small agency which probably doesn't have much clout-She was not a model, not an idol and literally popped up from nowhere-She Is not drop dead gorgeous (let's face it, she is pretty but not like 'goddess' type） 
But I guess there's this charm about her, that makes people relate to her. From the news reports, you can tell the reporters feel an affinity towards her, and enjoy talking to her. So hopefully, this unique charm will help her land her next role, which I am really looking forward to!
