Just finished episode 9. I don't think it was one of the better episodes.  The editing seemed rush.   It seems like they edited out MY washing Gun's hair and Gun seeing Daniel escorting MY to the auction.  I actually felt bad for Se Ra in this episode...the scar on her back hints to Se Ra being Daniel's sister. Why else would they take the time to show the scar on her back.  Love love the bromance in this episode.  I love the drinking scene, it's hilarious how Gun was having a hard time keeping up with Daniel.  Gun seemed clumsy drinking his last drink while Daniel was smooth as always.  There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding the edited divorce agreement.  I really hope this gets cleared up in the next episode.
Lastly, was I the only one who distracted this entire episode?  I was distracted by JH's new hairstyle but most of all I was distracted by the election results at the bottom that it was hard for me to read the subtitles!!  X(

The episode of doom is certainly coming up - it always happened like this in dramas and I always dread it. Highest of highs and the lowest of lows...

Before I get to our OTP, i absolutely love Daniel. I freaking need a neighborhood oppa like him. Seriously. I am so happy he sticks up for MY. While he totally oversteps his bounds, he does kinda know how their relationship evolved so I can see where he'd be upset. He is definitely a necessary balance for the other forces ie sera and mean mistress & half brother. While sera hasn't done anything horrible yet, she was very manipulative in her words to MY and to me that isn't so good either. So the signs of her pulling this manipulative guilt trip thing on MY and Gun are there.

Next, so I was wondering where the coral suit would be since coral is one of the hot colors for this summer. And I also heard mint green is a good hot fashion color for this summer. So I wonder who will wear mint green in a suit LOL. gun's hair, well, I guess there isn't too much they can do with it since it is just going to get longer and longer and JH can't cut it. But he looks so freaking hot in his navy and black suits. Loved the green tie.

my favorite part was when LG got totally schooled by Daniel when Daniel said he should have done more earlier before he stepped on the line. Not lg's fault but hope that just continues to trench up some jealousy and keep him on his toes when it comes to facing sera in the future. That is still a big question mark. He still has sera's stuff so he hasn't said a clear goodbye, it's over yet to her. He has a lot of baggage.

Our OTP - well, MY seems to have a knack of standing up to LG and I love it. Oh my goodness, she will end up wearing the pants in the relationship lol. He will put up a good fight with her but in the end, she will always melt his heart. I think it's good that they could have an honest conversation with each other... And I hope it can continue but then I guess we wouldn't have a drama to watch. I would love to see more heartfelt discussions between these two.

While we are having various imagination scenes in this drama, I think Gunnie needs to have another imagination dream but instead have it be about him and MY not Daniel and MY. :) if he can dream up that one, he can dream up much better ones for him and the wifey. Wink wink!!! Of course, it's much better if it's real but every time, I want it to be a real scene in kdrama, I think I have been disappointed 9 times out of 10. At least give me a better kiss scene like YFAS - angles on that were decent LOL. See, I am getting greedy, TW dramas spoil me so much.

For the most part I love all the scenes with our OTP, but there were some troubling directing and editing issues for me. For example, when MY arrived at the auction, why didn't she just tell Daniel that Geon is waiting for her and made it seem like she's there by herself. Then Daniel offer to be her escort but then sat separately from her anyway. I guess he was to meant to escort her from the entrance to her chair, except it looked like he came to save MY again, but not really? That scene was unnecessary and meaningless. Then the photo shoot scene was cute and I know it's meant to be an eye-candy scene, but still over the top childish. I like when our OTP became OT3, but they were treated like children by the photographer and MY's friend. What is up with the staff cooing at them like, "aigooo you guys look so cute!" like they're puppies or toddlers? 
The ending saved it for me. I'm glad that MY became forthright in her confession but I'm not sure if she still gets that Geon is now in love with her. MY might mistake his passion as a spur of the moment kind of thing when he's basically shouting, "I'm in love with you!" BUT I'll put my worries aside, because dayum! JH swooped into it and devour her like hawk, it's a jarring contrast to when he gently kiss her tears away. It's like he can't control himself anymore. Rawrrr! B-)

i'm concerned about gun's health..=( i wonder what's the illness that he's talking about.i hope it's not serious... the guy in the tw version is not ill so maybe they just added another twist to this kr version.. i'm kinda worried because gun said that he wish he can live for 20 more years... i hope it's not a terminal disease or something like that...

Anyone realised that even though Gun is the one struggling with his inner desires, our snail actually has the darker eye circles? Haha... :>
I really hope Jang Nara will sing a track for the OST, except that she may not have time for it since they are live shooting right now. Thing is, she didn't sing for the Bright Girl OST as well...
As for plot developments,
(note: serious spoilers, do not read if you haven't watched the original)

Miscarriage will probably happen next week, since she has just started writing that diary. They need more entries in that so Gun actually gets to read more of MY's feelings afterward. Plus, some fan-taken pictures show that they're still filming MY with glasses. So...

Sera will possibly lose her place as the prima ballerina. We know that she missed her plane back to wherever she came from according to her mother. Perhaps she'll be dismissed from the ballet company because of poor discipline, or like the original, because of an unfortunate injury.

MY misunderstood the lawyer's underlying message in that SMS, and she still thinks Gun has every intention of going through with the divorce. Plus, the note (with the cufflinks) that says him and Sera cannot survive without one another doesn't help.

Sera is Daniel's sister (obviously). It's the same in the TW version as well, and her mom is her foster mother.

I think everything will be clearer after tonight. I'm really concerned that they didn't put up a preview too. I would've thought that they finished filming the parts for ep10 already. I hope it's not because they still have more scenes to take because that would make the schedule quite tight. Anyway, Gun's hairstyle is going to stay for a few episodes so we've got to wait. Seriously, his current hairstyle will be undoubtedly the front-runner for Dramabeans' Mane of Shame.

Just watched Ep 9 with subs. 
LG goes to see Dr. Octopus to get a sense of 'if this disease will return' to which Dr. Octopus replies that if 'it stays in remission until he's 40, there's no reason to think he can't live another 20 or even 50 years'. Having had family experience with it, I would say they are talking about cancer. As someone said (sorry, can't rem who), it's more likely that his medical history is going to contribute to his mindset of worrying about the future, than the medical condition actually returning and making this show enter makjang territory (PLEASE , NO).I think the divorce paper is a fakeout - LG changed the divorce papers into something resembling a prenup I think, where if he dies early, he's going to make sure that MY and the baby are protected, which is why Lawyer (he should be fired, really) contacted her and said it's ok to sign the papers now.
Kinda lame fakeout, but hey, this show has built up enough goodwill from Eps 1-9 that I am perfectly happy to forget it. I've sat through MUCH worse *coughPMAIcough*
