I'M A ONE OF THE LEAST UP TO DATE I-VIP IN THIS WORLD?!

November 22, it's online release - right? I waited for previews, and such release. I had a countdown, but then again, nature has paved its a way. A storm plus an old computer is a bad combination. I ended up just being in this site now.

The New Album. HOT ISSUE! I actually like the Intro, it's suitable for my new ringtone - haha. I love Track Number 2. And I agree with Last Farewell having a LIE Feel to it. Haha, same beat maybe?

The performances. WOW! New sytle! Spunky colors! This could've been perfect outfits for summer, but they rock it now. Love love love the style!!!!

Still didn't have the time to finish the perfs and the new MV. Thanks for all those who shared. Im banging my head here for not being able to go online. Anyways, all for BigBang!^^

I don't really post here anymore and just lurk around the boards but BB has made me come out of my moldy cave of fangirl isolation...

Just wanted to add my 2 cents to barefootboulevard's comment. To me, what's GD-centric about the tracks in "Hot Issue" is that he has 2 songs all to himself out of the 6 on the album. In all the other songs that GD has written/composed, I actually feel like Seung-ri and Daesung have more parts than they are usually given. Since there's more empahsis on singing than in their first albums, there are more singing parts to go around. In fact, GD-isms aside ("I love you more, more"..."Big Bang is back! Most definitely incredible! Hey move!"), he only gets 1 rap section per song and his parts are shorter than TOP's.

So for the songs with all the members, I feel like the parts are equally spread out. You can see this even more during live performances where everybody gets to shine.

I do agree that GD is getting more attention than the other members in general because of "Lie", "Oh Ma baby", and the "Hot Issue" minialbum. I don't begrudge him the recognition though because it's well deserved. Also, even if the buzz around Big Bang's new songs is centered around GD, the whole group is getting a lot of attention too. People say "Big Bang is talented", "The members are good live performers", "Big Bang dresses well". They become fans of Big Bang, not just GD fans.

To answer your question, if I were a Big Bang member I'd be jealous of GD's creative talent and the attention he's getting because of it, but I wouldn't think it was unfair and I'd also be happy that his songs are bringing the entire group into the spotlight.

^ i think so as well. the BB members are all so proud of their leader and this kinda creative talent is definitely infectious. who knows? maybe we'll get to see the other boys' own works featured later on as well. ^^V i love how they all get their moment. it's the BB year this year for sure.

I think that's the problem here.

When we hear this, we tend to believe that if there weren't for GD, Big Bang wouldn't be this big.

True, he has done a lot for the group and that his compositions are awesomely pleasing to the ears ;P

but I don't think we should call "Lie" or the 6 songs on the 2nd mini-album "GD'S SONGS"

he composed it and wrote it but it's a BIG BANG song

(like...Britney Spears' GIMME MORE, she didn't write it yet we call it Britney's song, you know what I mean lol)

I do think he deserves some credit because like banana_onigiri said, he doesn't get more parts in the songs than the other members just in this album I think : ) I'm sure in the next mini-album, it will focus more on another member, since in the 1st one, it was on Top. *lol this sound a little weird*

But sometimes I wish he'll stop saying "I'm straight falling" LOL in every album, we hear those words

and I wish in the next album, Top gets to do the narration in some songs because A Fool's Only Tears's narration was love ; )

yes i was like just rewatching the mv for probably the 100th time,and i spotted this.spotted new things everytime i watch the mv.hahahaha

i'm rather lousy in words.so i'm afraid i'll express my comments wrongly

but being very talkative i'll still express my opinion on the gd issue.

big bang's talented in different ways.for gd its probably composing the best,and that he's able to express his words in lyrical form.

for others its a different aspect.singing,rapping,dancing,being cute(does that count?to me it is.isnt it magnae!).

that forms the multi talented big bang whom is stylish, good live performers and ultra hot guys whom girls adore and guys wanted to be like.

(just have to spam on their fashion sense.they ARE trendsetters really!)

in other groups,there will always be someone whom always get more attention due to a special talent or something.its inevitable.

but somehow,big bang is one of the group that i've seen with a much more balanced fanbase(:

ok,afterall its hard not to like everyone of them.

i dont know whether i makes sense since its like 4am over here.

Perspective is a funny thing...The attention that GD is getting is as a writer/composer so from that point of view, they are his songs. But if it's played on the radio or performed, people say "That's a Big Bang song!" I'm cool with that.

with his solo album coming out and Tempo with his TV appearances. I wonder how

Daesung and Seungri feel =( They'll get their chance!! G-Dragon is so talented, though,
