The Duchess of Cambridge is apparently undergoing hypnotherapy after her bout of hyperemesis gravidarum (acute morning sickness).
The royal's friend Jessica Hay reportedly told Australia's New Idea magazine that the treatment was helping the Duchess overcome her negative thoughts of food after she was hospitalized.

"Kate still looks at food and feels nauseous," Hay was quoted by the Evening Standard as saying.
"She's been plagued with that feeling you have when you've had food poisoning and your stomach's shrunk."
She added: "She finds it very hard to eat a full meal and gets full very quickly.

Hay said: "All in all, Catherine's very happy. With so much family around her and William, they're starting to enjoy the pregnancy after such a traumatic start."
Prince William and Kate announced their pregnancy on December 3 - earlier than the usual 12-week point after Kate was taken to hospital.

Only a Duchess can be hospitalized for having pregnancy sickness. How about those women who work when they're expecting?

The Duchess of Cambridge - who is currently expecting her first child with Prince William - is said to not yet know the gender of the baby.
Irish Guardsman Lee Wheeler asked the Duchess about whether she was aware of the gender at yesterday's St Patrick's Day parade in Aldershot. Middleton replied: "Not yet," according to The Associated Press.
"She said, 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl'," Wheeler said.
He added that she also told him that they have also not picked the potential names for the child.
The Duchess of Cambridge took part in a centuries-old tradition of a female member of the royal family handing out sprigs of shamrock to Irish Guards at Mons Barracks.
Middleton momentarily got her heel stuck in a grate before speaking to soldiers from the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.
The royal couple's first child is expected to be born in July.

Prince William and Duchess Kate arrive in Wales

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, made a joint appearance in Wales on Saturday 8 November. The royal couple, who used to live on the Welsh island of Anglesey, kicked off their "Wales away day" with a visit to the Valero Refinery in Pembroke.
The pregnant Duchess sported a light blue Matthew Williamson coat dress and tall black boots for the occasion and accessorised her look with a pair of glittering green amethyst earrings by Kiki McDonough. Although small, the Duchess' baby bump was visible as she waved to royal fans who lined the street outside the refinery.

It was a musical welcome for Prince George's parents as two young ladies playing the harp and the flute honoured their arrival.
The refinery, which is celebrating 50 years since it was officially opened by the Queen Mother, said William and Kate's visit was a "huge honour". kate-2-
After touring the refinery the couple were treated to a performance by the Young Actors Studio, who work in partnership with the refinery through The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Following their engagement in Pembroke, the parents-to-be travelled to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium to watch a rugby match between Wales and Australia.
For the past week the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been off-duty and spending time Queen's Balmoral estate in Scotland.

It's a girl: Prince William and Kate to name daughter after Princess DianaPrince William and Kate Middleton are having a girl. Their daughter will be fourth in line to the throne of England. According to a Wednesday, Nov. 12 report by the International Business Times, Prince William and Kate have told close friends that the baby they are expecting is girl.

Prince William and Kate are expecting a girl.

This is the second pregnancy for Kate Middleton. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge has suffered severe morning sickness with both pregnancies. Despite that, there have been no reports of serious complications.
Both Prince William and Kate are “thrilled” they are having a daughter this time. They are already the proud parents of Prince George. Prince George is a year old and is third in line to the throne.
It has also been reported that the royal couple are already considering names for their unborn daughter. It appears that they are leaning towards naming the baby after Prince William's mother, Princess Diana.
It is unknown if Diana would be the baby girl's first name or one of the many middle names she is expected to have. Frances is also another possibility. Frances was Princess Diana's middle name.
Should the Duke and Duchess have a daughter this time around and name her Diana, many royal watchers will be thrilled. Although Diana is gone, she has not been forgotten. “The People's Princess” is still loved by millions around the world.
At the time of publication, there has not been an official announcement from the royal family about the unborn heir. Nothing has been said about possible names for the baby. Royal watchers will have to wait and see if the baby is a girl and if she is named after Princess Diana.

Aww that's a very lovely sentiment...to name their daughter in honor of Diana. A shame she didn't live long enough to see her grand kids. She adored children very much. In case some of you need refreshing, a poor woman died (suicide) over a prank call from some ignorant radio DJ posing as the Queen. Hope Kate's pregnancy goes smoothly without a hitch as compared to when she had George.
