Updated editor is weird

Since a few days, posting has become difficult. The former  "Preview" and "Edit" buttons are missing, and if you try to "Quote" someone, that someone's name is not included like before ("Abdcd wrote...")

Oddly, the "Preview" button appears here, when I'm adding a new thread. But when the thread is old, it doesn't. Well, it does appear here, but it does not work as it should. That is, carriage returns are shown as <br>, not as newlines.

I was able to post normally just a week or so ago.
