[News] Big Bang overpowers TV music chart 3 weeks in a row

Five-member male group Big Bang dominated televised music charts for three straight weeks as of yesterday.

Big Bang's "TONIGHT," the title track to their fourth mini-album released in late February, again scored the highest rank on the K-pop chart of weekly KBS music program "Music Bank" for the third time followed on SBS' music show "Inkigayo," for the third week as well.

"Thank you for awarding us with this prize. That's all I wanted to say," said member Daesung during his group's acceptance speech on "Music Bank" held last Friday.

"Words can't describe how thankful we are for this award. We'll work harder to repay you with a stage that could truly touch your heart," said Big Bang members upon receiving the Mutizen Award on "Inkigayo" on Sunday.

This is Big Bang's ninth win in total including their three consecutive wins on music cable network Mnet's weekly music program "M! CountDown" which is being aired every Thursday.

Other singers that appeared on "Inkigayo" on Sunday included TVXQ, Wheesung, K.Will, MBLAQ, INFINITE, Lee Hyun, Kim Hyun-jung, ZE:A, Flower, CHI CHI, MF and Girls Day.

I'm re-watching Tabi's Manwon Happiness =)) omg it's so funny i'm gonna die laughing, especially at the part of Tabi

impersonating Noh Hongchul in front of Se7en and GDYB. The studio was a total chaos then

These definitely make my day.

What I love the most

is hearing Daedae singing 'This is the moment'.

His vocal just keeps on getting

stronger and more melancholic.

& finally my wish for Seungri to

sing 'In my world' come true.

Though it's just a short one,

it is really beautiful.

I cannot wait to watch their

each of their solo

perfs for this mini concert.! :wub:

[NEWS/PHOTOS] Big Bang transforms into rock stars for W Korea!

The members of Big Bang recently participated in a collaboration photoshoot between “W Korea,” “10 CORSO COMO Seoul” and OnStyle’s “Style Magazine.” The photoshoot was completed under the theme of expressing what goes on behind-the-scenes of the lives of rock stars once they leave the glitz and glam of the stage.

“W Korea” took charge of the photoshoot fashion film for “Style Magazine” to exclusively air. ”10 CORSO COMO Seoul” will also be displaying and selling the shirts, jumpers, and smartphone cases designed personally by the Big Bang members themselves.

The impressive collaboration project will be unveiled for the first time through 10 CORSO COMO Seoul’s launching party on March 24th. Behind-the-scenes stories and cuts can be seen through OnStyle at 11 PM KST on the same day.

10꼬르소 꼬모 서울을 운영중인 제일모직은 21일 오전 "10꼬르소 꼬모 서울 오픈 이후 최초로 연예인과 콜라보레이션을 진행했다"며 "한류의 중심이자, 패션 아이콘인 빅뱅과의 콜라보레이션을 통해 외국 브랜드의 소개를넘어 아시아에 새로운 패션 트렌드를 제안할 계획이다"라고 밝혔다.

콜라보레이션의 핵심은 빅뱅이 직접 디자인한 해골(Skull) 모티브로 빅뱅 멤버 5인을 상징화 한 것이 특징이다. 이 모티브를 활용한 브로치 장식 티셔츠와 각각 다른 와펜(Wappen: 방패 모양의 장식)디자인으로 개성을 살릴 수 있는 커스트마이징(Customizing) 야구 점퍼 및 스마트폰 세대의 전폭적인 지지를 받고 있는 액세서리 브랜드 '인케이스(Incase)와 작업한 스마트폰 케이스와 랩탑 케이스를 선보일 예정이다.
