Big Bang wins prestigious awards in Japan; holds triumphant concert

On the 29th – 31st of January, Korean idol group ‘Big Bang’ held their much-awaited concerts in Olympics Park stadium in Korea. Since May last year, Big Bang officially entered the Japanese industry, and have been active there since. At the end of last year, they even won a number of prestigious awards including the Japanese Grand Prix du Disque and ‘Best Newcomer’. Therefore, this concert can be said as a well-deserved triumphant concert!

Without the fire service restrictions from Japan, Big Bang’s concert in Korea was extravagant; the fireworks at the beginning of the concert were 10 times as big as the ones in Japan. And during the whole concert, laser lights shone down at the audience, creating a very hot atmosphere. Big Bang sung 25 songs, including 3 Japanese songs. The organisers also played Japanese words on the big screen, but because Korea does not allow Japanese words to be played on television, only those at the concert were lucky enough to see it. And offstage, almost 30 people fainted from over-excitement and had to be rushed into the emergency room, evidently displaying the degree of fanaticism.

SOL expressed that he hopes music can become the bridge between Korea and Japan. G-Dragon also expressed his excitement of their triumph in Japan, and he wanted to “share the joy of winning awards in foreign countries with fans in our motherland.”

A total of 35,000 people attended their 3-day concerts. Now, Big Bang are preparing to hold 6 concerts in Budokan, Japan in early February, with production costs estimated to exceed $300million yen.

Korea’s super group Big Bang have finally shed their newcomer title, and are displaying their immense talent!

the medley was amazing. i'm gonna cry if they dont put this on the dvd. daeri <3 why do they sound so so so so good? i was getting teary watching that. i love their slower rnb-ish songs and when they put those four songs together it was just O: <33

cotton candy, daesung's such a silly guy. the clip in the beginning with all the sounds he was making. LOL. it was such a cute and sweet performance. im really really glad dae released this song, its so different from what we usually hear from idols, without all the autotune stuff and all. he performed the song really well.

BSX.

hotness overload. no lieee. GD and his umbrella move thing. saw a bit of skin. :9 top's wink. <3 why is this guy so sexy?

EXCITED FOR THIS! its february already! teeheehee. if its with hyori, i dont mind at all. actually i dont mind them with whoever. LOL. OMG so many bigbang goodies this week. theyve been like, MIA well not exactly but kinda for quite a long while it feels like, and then suddenly theyre spoiling us again!

first week album sales thing.

our boys dominated that chart. 3/5 in the top five. <3333

i have to say, maknae looks so grown up now. so seckshi. :wacko: what happened to baby?! <3 and dae looks so great now too. bet no one can call him ugly now eyy.

The concept is the same, how is the execution alike? The dance moves are all different. Other than pulling a prank in the subway and getting chased by transit cops. Theres no similarities in the execution.

And besides do you really think that Big Bang came up with this commercial and directed it?

It was BSX that came up with the whole thing why would Big Bang be labeled as plagiarizers.

LOL I know right. *snorts* Some people....

Anyways, that was a great CF. I'm glad the BSX people chose Big Bang as their new reps.

Congrats to the boys for having a successful Big Show 2010!

Just one quick comment and I´m gone!

I just had a quick look at their new commercial in the subways--------------aaaaaaaand----------------TOP so does wear eyelyner. Remember all those times when he used to insist that his eyelashes were just that long and black naturally? Well, he can say whatever the hell he wants to---------but unless there isn´t a bit of eyeliner on him, his eyes would hardly look that cool!

I have seen plenty of pictures with him in his "normal" stance, and it doesn´t even appear that he has any lashes at all.

Not that it doesn´t suit him though-----------but still, if I ever had the chance I would nail him on this BIG, FAT lie. :excl: :excl: :excl:

Chinatsu Wakatsuki Shaves Head For Big Bang!

Japanese model and actress Chinatsu Wakatsuki recently shaved the initials “BB” on her head in support of Korean boy band, Big Bang.

With the pictures posted online, she wrote “I dyed my hair blond like G-Dragon. Of course this logo is for Big Bang.” If that didn’t convince you enough that Wakatsuki is a true fan, she recently came to Korea on the 31st to see Big Bang’s Big Show 2010 concert.

Chinatsu Wakatsuki gained popularity in Japan as a swimsuit model and appeared in the 2006 horror movie “Lost and Found.”

he probably does wear eyeliner from time to time... when he stated that it was because people accused him of having eyeliner all the time... even on days where he wasn't. i watched that variety show. he never claimed not to wear eyeliner at all.... but you should back track a few pages back coz someone posted pics showing how long his eyelashes were... i don't mean to be rash about it... but if you were a fan you would've seen those pics already.

i would find the page for you but i'm pretty lazy right now. i do know they're after page 955... :D

i have to say. i love their concert tshirts with their names and the five stars. how for GD, the top left star is the only one with the sparkles thing. for taeyang its the middle top star that sparkles and so on. the five stars of bigbang. :)

i cant wait to get my hands on the concert tshirt. hopefully yesasia'll release it. i love that it says VIP at the back of it.

He really does look like Top. Does anybody know who this kid is? He could be Top's little brother they look so much alike.
