Super Junior’s Leeteuk to cameo in “All My Love” as an ultra-nerd

Super Junior’s Leeteuk will be making a cameo appearance on MBC’s daily sitcom, “All My Love“.

On June 10th, a short clip of Leeteuk’s acting was aired at the end of the 143rd episode, which saw the Super Junior star transform into a pathetic blind date for Yoon Seung Ah.

With his bowl cut and shabby training suit, Leeteuk perfected the look down to a T, and even made sure to stutter to complete the role.

Hilariously, Yoon Seung Ah grows fond of Leeteuk, which leads her father to invite him over for dinner. Unfortunately, he becomes appalled at how pathetic Leeteuk is and throws a fit.

Viewers left comments such as, “I can already tell that Leeteuk will be hilarious just from the preview video alone”, and “Definitely looking forward to it!”

SM artists talk about the Hallyu wave at “SM Town Live in Paris” press conference

On June 10th, the idols of SM Entertainment held a press conference right after their “SM Town Live in Paris” concert and expressed their thoughts on completing their first European concert.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk began, “It feels like just yesterday that I was listening to Jordy Lemoine and feeling entranced by his music, but now here I am exporting our own culture. I hope to write an amazing piece of history.”

TVXQ’s Yunho continued, “After seeing everyone shout ‘SM Town’, I realized that this was the flare of K-Pop culture. I’m glad that we’re able to kick it off to a great start. It still makes my heart beat.”

SNSD’s Sooyoung added, “I almost cried when I saw that fans had written ‘Thank you’ on the Korean flag. I was surprised to see them singing along to our songs, but what surprised me the most was that they even knew the cheer chants used by our Korean fans.”

f(x)’s Victoria said, “I was so proud to see everyone in the audience waving their own country’s flag.”

When asked why he thought K-Pop was so popular, Leeteuk replied, “SM has always worked to globalize our music, such as working with foreign choreographers and whatnot. I think we’re also loved for our physical and visual aspects as well. There’s a saying in Korea that the start is just half of the work, so I’m anticipating the future of Hallyu. If France wants me, I’m even willing to move here.”

Super Junior Picked Number 1 as the Hallyu star that you want to Travel Korea with

Group Super Junior was picked number one in the survey, "the Hallyu star that you want to travel Korea with."

A survey about Hallyu was conducted among foreign members on Visitkorea(www.visitkorea.or.kr), a website in English operated by Korea Tourism Organization to promote tourism in Korea. Korea Tourism Organization revealed that Super Junior was chosen number one as "the Hallyu star that you want to travel Korea with."

The survey was conducted from May 11 through 31 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the English website. 12085 members from total of 102 nations participated in the survey. 30 nominees of Hallyu stars were chosen by conducting surveys on Korea Tourism Organization's Facebook and Twitter page and by analyzing top search words on various foreign search engines. The surveys had total of 7 questions including the Hallyu star that people want to travel Korea with, an area of Hallyu that people are interested in, and activities that people want to do with a Hallyu star.

Super Junior who was picked number one spot received overwhelming votes from Asia including China, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries as well as Europe such as France. Big Bang and JYJ followed the ranking.

As Expected, Super Junior Ranks 2nd on Oricon Weekly without any Promotion

‘The Terminators of Hallyu’ Super Junior has also created a ‘Miinah’ fever in Japan. Super Junior’s fist Japanese single ‘美人(BONAMANA)’ has reached 2nd on the Oricon Weekly Single Chart along with ranking in the Oricon Daily Chart only a week into the release of the single.

Especially, Super Junior did not have any special promotions nor events in Japan, and yet were able to rank 2nd, ranking higher than many Japanese singers such as Acid Black Cherry, AKB48, Kesimaisi (ケツメイシ), FUNKY MONKEY BABYS.

The orders placed for this single were over 10,000 copies, setting a record as the first Korean group to reach that high for their first single. Super Junior’s Japanese fans’ interest has been proven.

This single was the very first single that Super Junior released in Japan. It has Japanese version of ‘Miinah’ , which was a huge hit all over Asia in 2010.

Also, Super Junior was chosen as the models and singers for the CM song for Japan’s famous convenience store chain ‘Circle K Sunkoos’, captivating many audience all over Japan.

Right now, Super Junior is getting ready for the 5th album.

Shindong reveals his hidden younger sister on ‘Strong Heart’, ‘Touching’

Group Super Junior’s member Shindong confessed that he had a younger sister.

Shindong was on a recent episode recording of SBS TV ‘Special Strong Heart King of Kings’, and said, “I’ve always said that I was an only son, but I actually have a younger sister.”

He then revealed the reason why he couldn’t reveal his sister, and what happened that led him to reveal it now, and his special affections for his sister.

Apparently, Shindong’s sister was actually at the studio, surprising Shindong and other guests on the show.

Shindong’s hidden story will be revealed on the 14th at 11:05 PM.

Super Junior to Release Photo book of Super Show 3 Concert

Feel the excitement of the concert again with the photo book!

Super Junior are garnering attention from their fans with the news that they will be releasing their first concert book. Super Junior Super Show 3 concert book is a concert photo book containing scenes from the 3rd Asia tour Super Show 3 in Seoul which was held in August.

Super Junior Super Show 3 concert book will contain high quality photos of the concert scenes as well as never released photos of the scenes from their waiting room. Also, the book has autographs and messages from the members. As a bonus, there will also be 14 copies of photo postcards. The fans who attended the concert can feel the excitment of the concert again with the concert book and those who did not go can experience the heat of the concert second-hand.

Super Junior Super Show 3 concert book has a high quality hardcover bookbinding making it a collectible. The concert book can be pre-ordered from June 16 to the 30th. All those who pre-order the concert book will each be given a big poster of Super Junior specially made for the book. Through a drawing, 20 people will be given a concert book autographed by all the members. The concert book can pre-ordered through Interpark, Kyobo Book Centre, Yes24, Lees Music, and Apple Music. The price is 30,000 won and the more details can found on UFO Town.

A rep of Danal who planned Super Junior Super Show 3 concert book stated, “to share the excitement of the concert with the fans, we have decided to release a concert book which is a first for Super Junior since their debut. The high quality photos and never released photos of the members behind the scene will present unforgettable memory for the fans.”

Meanwhile, Super Show 3 was held in 13 Asian countries for a total of 20 times. It started in Seoul and was also held in Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore. It was Super Junior’s third Asia tour and it contained performances which was full of masculinity such as “Sorry Sorry” and “Don’t Don.” The concert had various performances such as “No Other” and “Confession” having overwhelming popularity with Korean fans and fans overseas.

The pic above seems appropriate because of the fact that the first time Heechul ever saw her was with Donghae. Before debut, back on July 10, 2004, Heechul and Donghae were walking to a movie theater to celebrate Heechul's 21st birthday when they came across filming of "Summer Scent" by Han River. There Heechul saw her for the first time. Heechul has stated numerous times that the moment he saw her, he thought an angel had descended on Earth because he had never seen such a beautiful girl in all of his life. He was so taken by her beauty that as soon as he got home, he joined her fan cafe and even tried to sign up for her summer camp (apparently back then she had some sort of event going where fans could spend some time with her at a camp). And now there he is sitting having dinner with her, some 7 years later. I'm so happy for him Although I knew for some time that they were close... she had mentioned it during a newspaper interview back some time ago and she also called into his radio show about a month ago.
