Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin did not attend 'Busan International Film Festival' due to their schedules.

'The 19th Busan International Film Festival' began on October 2nd, and a great number of different events were held during last two days.

A great number of major actors and actresses who played in major hit films, including 'The Laws of Temptation,' 'The King's Wrath,' 'My Love, My Bride,' 'Taste of Romance,' 'The Informer,' 'The Pirates,' 'Sea Fog,' 'Daughter,' and 'Roaring Currents' visited Busan.

Jung Jae Young, Cho Jung Seok, and Park Sung Woong, and director Lee Jae Gyu of 'The King's Wrath,' and Kim Nam Gil, Kim Won Hae, and director Lee Suk Hoon of 'The Pirates' attended outdoor stage greetings, and met up with many movie fans.

However, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, who played the two films did not attend the events due to their schedules.

Hyun Bin had to attend the closing ceremony of '2014 Incheon Asian Games,' and Son Ye Jin had a new film shooting.

However, the actors who attended the events showed a fabulous teamwork.

Meanwhile, the closing ceremony of 'The 19th Busan International Film Festival' will be held on October 11th, and Cho Jing Woong and Lee Jung Hyun are going to emcee the event.

another project of Son Ye Jin and Kim Nam Gil after the tv series The Shark...this is one of the box office hits and best Korean Movie  of 2014  "The Pirates"...how i wish i'm in Manila so I can see the movie In Big Screen... felt sad i wont be able to watch it on my hometown...Son Ye Jin is one of my fave Korean actress with Song Hye Kyo,and Eugene...to All my  Kababayan's out there please do watch it...its really worth watching and a really good movie..

I have been on this site for quite a long time and this is the only time, I got the courage to post. I really love son ye jin and love all her movies. In the movie, white night, it maybe an awkward scenes with her body but the acting is really commendable> I love how she portray the depths of the character, the coldness, I really like how she acts in that movie. So white night is truly where her acting shows. I am in Manila and I am so excited to watch the The Pirate here. Honestly I have watched the raw movie with no subtitle and I am looking forward for the subtitle one in SM Cinema..

The movie " Pirates " beat the views of " Miss Granny "

The movie Pirates defeated Miss Granny views become film ranked 16th in history . According to the Korean Film Council , the movie Pirates of the day 12/10 has been broadcast in 74 theater and attracted 8668 views , bringing the total to 8,663,400 views respectively .  Opening date of 6/8 , Pirates ( Seok Hoon Lee ) has received the support of the audience during 2 months and became one of the successful film of the year in terms of revenue . At last September , beating movie Speedy Scandal (2008 ) with 8,240,000 views and became the most successful films of Lotte Entertainment . Movies play a huge role in boosting sales of Lotte film after 6 years.  Not only that , on 12/10 , the film also beat revenue of Miss Granny ( 8,650,000 views) . Pirates same time with Currents Frozen and Roaring views 3 highest film in 2014 .  Along with 12 films over 10 million views , is Snowpiercer Grade 13 , Grade 14 is The Face Reader , Grade 15 is Iron Man 3 , the film ranks among the top 16 films with the highest views of all time.

@theresal Hello there! Welcome to the thread. I'm glad you enjoyed White Night and personally it was one of my favorite too (I have its poster in my room). I love her other films too, like A Moment to Remember, The Classic, Lover's Concerto, but those belongs to another genre. White Night isn't the conventional love story, and it reminds me a lot of Oldboy; haunting, twisted yet beautiful at the same time. Even Son Ye Jin herself mentioned that the film was like her destiny.

Park Cheol-min told tales about Son Ye-jin making sexual jokes on set.

A press conference was held for the movie "Pirates" on the SBS TV show "Good Morning".

Park Cheol-min said, "We were in a container, sheltering from the cold when I heard Son Ye-jin and Nam-gil sharing sexual jokes. I thought to myself, 'should I continue with this movie?'
