hey guys! i've been lurking these few days, and i apologise for that. i had exams for the past 2 weeks, and today marks the end of my paper. SO IM COMING OUT MY LURKING MODE AS PROMISED!

its fun watching episodes 1-12 of YongSeo. I really appreciate the progress of their relationship and how both of them grew fond of each other. the stares in earlier episodes are way different than the stares we see in later episodes. Hyun rarely shows her aegyo earlier, but today she shows it freely. by the way, Im curious to what Yong said after they watched Avatar. he said "Jashik" (?). i wonder what could it mean. coz they were talking about Yong's past 22-day celebration, Hyun seems a bit disappointed then he said "Jashik", then Seohyun laughed. what does "Jashik" mean? also Yong said it to Jungshin during Yong and Hyun's housewarming.

Ja Shik -- a Korean word with no real English equivalent that simultaneously means "punk," "rascal," "sneak," and "smart-aleck."

Hafta wait for j2dlee, kay77 or genxv to help confirm this though.

RE: TRAX New Album track and MV "Oh! My Goddess!" featuring SeoHyun

I gathered that this new title track of TRAX's 2nd Mini Album entitled "Oh! My Goddess!" isn't the usual type/kind/genre of TRAX's music, but for their followers it's still nonetheless a welcome treat and shift.

I find the song cool, upbeat, having a fresh feel and vibe to it. The use of SeoHyun's pure and immaculate image all the more highlighted the general tone and feel of the music.

OK! I still can't get over with the OMG MV

I love the MV not just because hyun was there, but the song is really good...

It gives you an american rock band feeling!!! and the blonde hair suits jungmo...

but I find the holding hands scene so random...I think the MV would do good without it...hehe

but, is there a possibility that it'll have a story MV since the promo pics have hyun wearing wedding dress...I want a story MV...wooo

But just like you bezbezbez I was kinda anticipating also for a "storyline" to be unfolded in the MV. Yeah, I was somehow expecting that it would be a story MV.

Confession: I was hoping that the wedding dress and photos was part of a super secret WGM wedding photoshoot that would be revealed soon. After all, the Adam couple's wedding shoot was part of a magazine spread and not specifically set up by WGM. (correct me if I'm wrong here). Likelihood of this being true... I dunno. I don't think I've given up hope yet.. LOL.

Is the romanized version of the song already available? I, too, would like to see/know the connection of the album cover [of Seohyun in a wedding dress] to the song and the general concept of the MV.

Like you genxv, I can't help but feel also that there is more to the MV than meets the eye. Could it be a prelude to Seobaby's WGM Wedding Photoshoot? I dunno... I maybe wrong, too! It's just simple gut feel on my end.

lenovo, i am with u gal. i cringe each time i see yong's 'intimate' pic with a girl.

but the way i see it, yong was more like gripping her neck, and whisper

this is not yongseo related but its about yong's personality. i know this video has been shared here but i dont know if you guys have discussed this.

did anybody notice yong's expression? he looked pissed / angry / annoyed? its all because jonghyun missed his part. gosh! look at yong's expression when he had to cover for jonghyun. scary. in the end of their performance jonghyun smiled sheepishly at yong but he wouldnt look at jonghyun. in fact he didnt even look at anybody!

what do you think he would do after the show? i think he wouldnt say anything. as a tripple A blood type, i think he would keep a chilling silence for days hehheheheh.

he maybe playful but when it comes to work you dont mess with him.

Answer: everything but No. 4.

‘jashik’ basically means a child or children (both f/m) but is also used to address a friend (friends) in an informal way. You may hear ‘jashik’ more often among the group of boys than girls (it’s a kind of ‘boy’ thing). It can be translated as ‘a brat’ ‘a fellow’ ‘a dude’ ‘a chap’ ‘a son’ and so on… It’s not desperately rude, but you wouldn’t call someone ‘jashik’ if you hardly know the person or the person is older than you. (It can be really offensive depends on an adj. that is coming before the noun, like ‘a son’ is not rude, but ‘son of b****’ is…well, you know). It’s not as harsh as ‘rascal’ or ‘smart-richard simmons’, as long as you say it with a smiley face and in an affectionate tone. Huhuhuhu….. Yong’s calling Jungshin a ‘jashik’ is just his way of expressing his affection toward his younger brother.

And one more thing, even if you are friends, you don’t normally call the other ‘jashik’ if there’s a gender difference. Seo Hyun laughed because Yong’s calling her ‘jashik!’ was so unexpected (I wonder whether someone ever called Hyun a ‘jashik’ before. I doubt it). Yong was trying to distract Hyun’s mind from Yong’s previous ‘22nd Day’ celebration and to liven up the mood a little, which I think, was successful.

By the way, am I the only one who secretly hopes to see Hyun being jealous when Yong’s around Ueno Juri?

thanks j2dlee! now we know what jashik really means. its just that Yong said it to Hyun in a very sweet way then he said it also to Jungshin. Yong is very bold and creative. if Jashik is not normally said if there is a gender difference, then he told Hyun, she was shocked but in a good way. I think nobody called her a jashik before. Yong always teases Hyun, and that makes her laugh. I think Yong really is a prankster and fun-loving person, as his CNBlue brothers referred to him as "Fun-Maker" in Making the Artist: CNBlue when Yong was absent and the 3 boys were just talking.

Hi, I was really curious when Hyun said that she bought the presents (pyjamas and the toothbrush holders) based on the image/personalities of the boys so I made my own research as to what the animals symbolize. Here goes:

Squirrel (for Minhyuk) - symbol of energy and playfulness; Whenthe squirrel comes into our lives it is often a message for us to have morefun, and take life a little less seriously. (When I look at Minhyuk, Indeed I see the playfulness of a child.)

Panda (for Jonghyun) - peaceful, gentle (I say, the panda image fits Jonghyun perfectly)

Frog (for Jungshin Chingoo) - purity, good luck

and finally, the duck (for Yonghwa): -symbol of honesty, simplicity and resourcefulness.Ducks also represent sensitivity, as they tend to be very sensitive to their surroundings. Ducks are the most versatile birds in the world. They are magnificent birds and standout in the crowd. In the Celtics the duck is often looked upon as a bird with honest intentions, simplicity and is also said to be very knowledgeable.

Ducks are symbolic of marital fidelity and joy. (Korean wedding ducks are one of the most popular wedding favors and have a special meaning.They represent the bride and thegroom and after the wedding, they are placed somewhere in the couples house and their position tells of the couples marital state.) It seems to me that when Hyun thought of giving the duck toothbrush holder to Yong, she was actually sending him a special message (Thus when Yong asked Hyun why she gave him the duck, she was quiet).

in a haunted house. saw lots of hand holding, backhugging and tight grip there.

j2dlee yes u are indeed precious...all the goguma lovers here are precious to me...i've not been so active in a forum since donkey years back...i love how u share and impart knowledge on the subtle nuances of the korean language which we will never catch by just watching the english subs...that's why i feel languages are never easy to master...textbooks can only teach us certain things, but to really learn everything like the jokes and sayings is quite impossible for a non-native speaker...though curiously Korean and Chinese culture have certain similarities...

princessjulia...thank you for sharing your research with us...it's indeed very informative...but as j2dlee mentioned, the symbol of marriage is signified only by the specific breed of ducks known as the mandarin ducks...but i feel an unknown pang of wistfulness whenever i read about the mandarin duck's behaviour:
