Another DAEBAk episode~ The same thing I would say, every moment in this episode is my favorite...Although I hardly can pick which scene are my more favorite, I try my best to list out some :

1. The relief look on Hyun's face when she found that MIL favorite color is really wine color when MIL tried on Yong's present- sunglasses. She felt relieve as her present (scarf) is also in wine color, she felt glad that she have chosen the MIL favorite color. (P/s: MIL really looks good in wine color ).

2. The cute face on Hyun, when she hardly swallow the raw seafood (I don't know what is that). Yong's caring look, asking her is it feeling bitter, MIL anxious look, asking her is it feeling weird with the smell. Hyun hardly swallow and hardly answer their question, just the 'hmm' sound... so cute~~~ and I notice that Yong and MIL finds it funny, as they both break into laughter...

3. Yong's affectionate gazing eyes when feeding Hyun... How on earth he would look at her that way~~!!! OMG, that is totally LOVE... I don't know how to describe it.... That look is priceless...

4. Hyun is really a good and caring DIL. She even bought presents for the whole family... She is indeed a beauty (from inside and outside).

5. Mother's advice to Yong that Hyun is a good DIL and they both matches well... directly approves Hyun and indirectly asking Yong to appreciate her and "grab" her (perhaps...).

6. Mother's touched look and nearly teary eyes after reading Hyun's letter to her. She even look at Yong, feeling from her eyes, she is like telling Yong that, "I'm so touched, you have a good wife...."

Too much moment to write, and I don't think I can continue (as I'm not that good in expressing in english)...

I have a question:

They are holding hands, but is it interlocked? Or Hyun just playing with Yong's thumb? Plzzz someone have an eagle eye help to me answer it.... Oh, too sweet~~~

ahaha! i watched SECRET GARDEN and saw the 'winter trend' that yonghwa popularized. And i was laughing at the whole scene... it will surely remind you of WGM and the YONGSEO couple hahaha!

Oscar saying that he is no longer young idol and already a 36 years old man reminds me of

Yonghwa saying that he's not a choding anymore.. kekeke!! ♥

and Oscar's 'i will announce my love for you out loud'.. reminds me of Yonghwa and the Banmal Song lyrics that he made for Seohyun. kekeke... Secret Garden eyyyy... haha! ♥

annyeong gogumas! it's sunday night where i am and i'm dreadingggg going back to reality (i.e. work!) tomorrow morning. my weekends have become so precious, just cos yongseo is there to make it better. i'm a lil worried about my weekend fascination/obsession/stalker tendencies? with this couple cos my girlfriends had to literally dragggg me out of the house for a movie with them when all i wanted was a peaceful saturday vegging in front of my lappy watching WGM live..heh. but no worries, it's not as bad as it looks (i did end up going willingly to watch the movie with my gfs, but not before watching yongseo! nyeheheh) by the way, thanks to the awesomely darling goguma Ddukk for translating! and hugs to MountainMadman..don't worry too much about it, we'll be looking forward to your daebak translations next week!

just gonna comment on aneng's picture post of our favourite couple. i really do think they're holding hands and interlocking their fingers! (when did this interlock vs. no interlock thing start anyway? geeze i'm so behind on the spazzing) i showed the picture to my husband who actually patronised me and said "do you wanna try holding hands with me and see if it looks like it does in the picture?" LOL so yeah my point is..we tried it and yeah even without trying it anyone could tell their fingers were most definitely interlocked. just missing the superglue, is all.

and can i just say that i LOVE the sharing-a-scarf-on-a-boat-ride scene!! i don't know why but that scene - and especially since Yong is in glasses - was reminiscent of Bae Yong Joon in Winter Sonata. anyone else think so or is it just me and my overzealous fangirling? wouldn't it be awesome if he pulled Hyun closer to him using the scarf and plants a kiss on her nose? (HEEHEEHEEHEE i'm actually squealing while typing this out)

Wow! Indeed Yong Hwa Oppa is magical! Been playing the song for all day now and i feel that it gets more and more pleasing to hear, I never get tired playing it that I almost memorized the song! It must have been not only because the song was inspired by Hyun that the song goes directly to our hearts, Gogumas, but also it expresses uri Yong's longing towards Hyun that his feelings came with the song! Weee....How good it might felt that someone made a song for you and it became a hit overnight! CHUKKAHAE SEO HYUN! You got a great guy!

@pinkksoupp: haha!!... they did interlock their fingers right? Actually I'm seeing the same, but just that I'm not able to confirm, that's y I need all of your eagle eyes here to help me confirm it...

There was once a test or some short like an article I've read before (Is that ok if I did not credit as I've forgotten from where I've read before, but it is up to you guys to believe it or not). It is actually saying that, when a couple holding hands, the person's thumb that is on top of the "held-hand", is the person who is taking control in the relationship, while the other person will be the follower.... I've tried and tested on myself and my friends around me, it is true!!....

Well guys, seems like Hyun's thumb now is on top (I do not think it is a coincident she has to put on top purposely or what, as when it come to hold hand, the fingers crossing is happen naturally without your notice, believe me..). Don't you agree that, Hyun is controlling the whole relationship now? Yong is the one who is patiently waiting her slowly step by step to come to him... Hyun is controlling... don't you agree?

Right now, I just want to enjoy the episodes while they last. My brain is all fried up from school-related stuff, and I don't want to include WGM on my 'to study' list. They're nearing their 1 year anniversary, and honestly, I'm preparing myself for the inevitable. I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed for a possible renewal of contract.

1. I'm quite impressed at how Seohyun kept chewing that ... was it seafood (?) even though it's quite obvious she didn't like the taste. If I was in her position, I would've probably spit out the whole thing -- what a way to create a good first impression in front of future mother-in-law. LOL. I loved the way Yonghwa looked at her while she was busily trying to swallow her food. The way he gazed at her was just pure love. He was proud of her I could tell.

2. I liked how Yonghwa let Seohyun do her job of impressing his mother. He was at the sidelines, watching, observing quietly while the two women interact with each other. He could've made everything easy and comfortable by cracking jokes or whatever, but he chose to keep silent. It shows that this meeting was really important for him.

3. Someone mentioned about the reel and real getting blurred when this whole 'meet the parents' scenario was incorporated. Seohyun was obviously nervous about this meeting, but I believe Yonghwa was more nervous. He wants Seohyun and his mom get along well. And him asking his mom, 'What do you think of Seohyunie?' Although he asked it in the most casual way possible, I sensed some worry in there. If everything is just for show, why bother asking? It's not as if they're meeting again, anyways.

4. The look on mother-in-law's face right after reading Seohyun's letter. And how she thanked Yonghwa for marrying well. Awww.

5. The holding hands. I still grin like a lovestruck fool everytime they do little skinships here and there.

Seohyun-ah, why so perfect? She is probably every mother's dream daughter-in-law.

When Yong said' date=' "Of course I'll be good to her; she's my wife." I was really bothered by that answer. Why is his reply like that?[/quote']

Ha. I thought I was the only one who was kind of bothered by how he answered his mother's question. After I heard his answer, I thought, was he only being good to her because it's his obligation to take care of her? But thinking about it, Yonghwa isn't good at expressing himself. And maybe he didn't want to give away too much, especially in front of his mom. It's quite obvious that he has a good relationship with his mom, but I also get the vibe that he's not the type of person who openly expresses his feelings or secrets with his parents. So I guess he's just being careful with his words. But mothers have this sort of instinct anyway, so even if he doesn't say anything, I'm sure his mom knows.

As usual, thank you to the translators, MountainMadman (you are heavensent in this thread -- don't ever think you've failed us because of a little mishap ) and Dduk. I know it's a time-consuming task, but you never fail to enlighten us with translations every week. Thank you to synykiss, for subbing so fast.

i've been lurking at the yongseo couple official thread for i cant remember how long, i've been so happy to read all of the posts, translations and screen caps ang most importantly the "analyzation" of the goguma FBI's kekeke, i kept hold of myself from posting comments even when i am really totally spazzing for our yongseo couple.

I was actually spazzing during their bday celebration when they first held hands...

totally thrilled when hyun linked arms with yong...

totally spazzing with their intimate conversation in their japan trip...

and how they naturally held hands with the recent episodes...

i really kept myself from joining the forum though i enjoyed every day when i check the posts BUT i cant hold it anymore, i had to join in when i saw their picture holding hands and it seems they have their fingers linked together, OH MY GOODNESS!!! it's so sweet, simple gestures like that from yongseo are the ones that are really special, that is why i love yongseo couple and i realized i just have to join in the forum, kekeke.

@ysforever - who is the 'keeper' of the official 'goguma/country' list? I keep seeing different lists pop up here, some with my name/country on it & some without & some with only half the number of names as before.   I hope we're not losing track of people, because there seems to be multiple lists circulating on this thread!?

Also, Yong & Hyun's comments about the 'cold and dark' sea, I think they're jokingly referring to the fact that everytime they've been to the sea together, it's been cold or dark, or both!

This is the first time they've been able to enjoy the sea together with the sun shining and the weather actually fairly decent!

i felt happy with our yongseo couple in the latest ep. but at the same time, i felt emotional about the leaving adam couple and they made me think of our goguma days ... really... i cannot hold my tears once i link them with our little couple... the happier they are, the fearer i am. i tell myself i have to prepare for that day... but i know... it's easier said than done... many imaginations come to my mind... really don't want to talk about it.... sorry, fellow gogumas, i shouldn't spoil this thread...

needless to say, hyun is really really a good and well-manner daughter-in-law (dil). i am an asian too and have been taught about seniority amongst family members, relatives, people working with and the manner i shall have to my seniors. i totally admire what hyun did to her mother-in-law (mil), not starting to eat before mil started to eat, telling mil before leaving the seat to washroom, eating whatever food mil gavel her and not showing any unfavorate expression even eating something not tasty, appreciating yong before mil (yong's mother). some non-asian gogumas in this thread may find it hard to understand the asian culture. but i think the latest ep really shows how an asian family is like (as i am not korean, i can't tell how a korean family is like).

similarly, mil appreciated hyun for what she did for yong and humbly told hyun yong has to work harder. some may think that at the beginning, when asking about cooking, mil might look a little bit ...(how can i describe ?) harsh ? to hyun. i could say, it's somewhat a way mil talks to her mil.

and yong in this ep totally told you what an asian man would act when his mother and his wife meet. he kept silent and observed their conversation and how they reacted to each other. he did not participate much, only when his wife has 'difficulties' or when his mother was "harsh" to his wife. to me, how yong behaved in this ep really shows he's not a "choding", really he behaved mature enough to be a really good husband. he knew his position well in this meeting. though he is the one who know both his mom and his wife the best, he did not talk much. he knew how hard his wife was working to please his mother. when the time is right, he showed his support to his wife, not leaving her alone. you could see how caring yong was. hyun is a good dil whereas yong is a good husband. to mil, yong is really a good son, bringing to her a good dil.

sorry, my post seems repeating what has been said... because my mind cannot organise well what i want to share with you... my mind is still thinking of the coming of that day... fingers crossed... hope it comes just when i prepare well to accept it... forgive me, fellow gogumas...

About the holding hands; I've been watching that part who-knows-how-many times, because I got so frustrated. The way they were holding hands was just weird and it bothered me that I didn't know how they were cupping hands if they weren't interlocking their fingers. (Just to let you guys know that little things like that annoy the potato out of me. I might be blood-type A, haha.) But I think I got it now.

They were half-interlocking their fingers.

You can see in the above screen cap that Seohyun's index and middle finger were held under Yonghwa's thumb and held in place with his other remaining fingers. The finger(s) seen all the way on the bottom of the screen cap is Seohyun's remaining ring finger and pinky. That's why it looked so weird, because we couldn't figure out who's fingers were whom.

So from the image the fingers should be (from top to bottom); Seohyun's thumb, then Yonghwa's thumb, Seohyun's index and middle finger, Yonghwa's middle and ring finger (not sure) and then Seohyun's ring finger that's visible. Her pinky would be hidden somewhere behind the hand.

Now that the mystery is solved, I'm going to make some homework.. My heart is able to rest now, lol.

Edit: Holy, the food at the restaurant are expensive. They ordered so many dishes, too. I think the bill went up to a couple of hundred bucks.

OMG I'M SO WEIRD.

I just "held hands" with myself multiple times to try emulate the hand-holding scene to see what they felt like (with my arms criss-crossing all over the place).

Needless to say, I haven't accomplished anything since I'm feeling kind of awkward now, what with my thumbs stroking each other.

my first post in this forum...can't help but thank people who have been translating all yongseo related materials...a big thx to you for all the hardwork!

like everyone else, i've been following this couple since the beginning, and have been loving every episode and the progress the couple have made so far.

is it only me, or have others been noticing hyun shoes? i think lately hyun has been wearing low-heeled shoes...she knows that yong is sensitive about his height. maybe it's just me...
