kyaaaaa omg I'm happy that Yong is getting to release the banmal song himself (note: even without CNBlue! =O) - it's all the more personal and meaningful as it that was the original plan. I for one am looking forward to it, as it will reveal another verse (lol) of his true feelings/perspective on this whole banmal issue.

And for sure, it will start another debate here in beloved goguma-kingdom...

First we'll spazz, then we'll analyse the lyrics. Then we'll discuss what Seohyun must be feeling after hearing the lyrics, whether she got any further hints, and how brave/manly Yong is to release such a personal song that's meaning has been made so public.

Sometime in between, we'll be asking each other the same question in different forms over and over again - "How do I buy the song?" ;P

A few articles on the Banmal Song will be posted, once again, earning the Korean media's recognition.

This will probably lead to some Yong-fans and anti-Yongseo fans backlash, and some of us will speculate if this will impact negatively on their WGM stint. Some gogumas will then calm others down by beng positive and saying to just look forward to the episode where Seohyun tells Yong about her reaction/feelings to this song.

Then we'll all be happy again, until the next topic comes out 2 days later. XD

Oh dear, can't wait already!!

sorry I've topped the page - I'll just share a vid of SNSD's Genie dance practice where Seohyun wears her red (?) glasses . They're the same shape although the quality is a bit blur. Even if they aren't the same, it proves she really did use to wear glasses for fashion hehe. She's wearing the white t-shirt with the cute bunny print and 3/4 tights.

@sapphire18: Smells like contractual obligations. If Seohyun is scheduled to have songs with DBSK who are doing their comeback this year admidst their difficult situation, SM Entertainment would be stupid (for promotional reasons) to let Seohyun release another song, potentially posing as competition for her own label mates and which would also provide promotion for someone (Yonghwa) not of her company. Since Seohyun is of SM Entertainment, negotiations about everything she creates professionally goes to them ... and they probably said "no" for above reasons. It's normal business behaviour, I guess. *shrugs* It *is* a pity however.

Concerning the Goguma list: My country isn't mentioned (Germany). Should I add my country to it or ...?

YES!! FInally Banmal song is confirmed for official release. I thank the PD's understanding for not robbing Yong's creation for the show.

As much as I will like YongSeo to have their couple song, I think it is good to hear Yong's original lyrics for the song without Hyun's part. And from the lyrics, it can express what Yong wanted to tell Hyun and it will truly serve as a gift/ request for/to Hyun. Also, he can use the money he earn from the sales to buy more gifts for Hyun. ^^ That is killing many birds with one stone!!

But I wonder where can we buy it?? Anyone know??

I am happy to hear that BANMAL SONG will release officilally BY Yonghwa/CNBlue album.

Because at the Beginning Yong Compose the song for Hyun, Yonghwa's desire- this song as a Gift for his wife.

If the song release in name of CNBLUE and sing by Yonghwa so we could absolutely right to say that this song dedicate Only for Hyun from yonghwa's heart.

It will be very sweet, every time he sing this song , everyone know who he sing for ....His lover...belove Hyun

Anyway, I'll continue reading the posts now. About the Banmal Song? I am happy to hear that the release is pushing through, even if without Hyun...in the first place, the song was suppose to be a song written for Hyun, so I guess, it's ok if she won't be able to do the duet with him.

Oh. my. goodness., this is amazing news

To be honest, I know that our goguma FBIs screencapped Yong's reaction when their mission to create a duet song was revealed and he didn't seem all that enthused. And I'm sure a main reason for that reaction is because as he mentioned, the banmal song is something he's been working on diligently for months for Hyun. To be honest, the thought of that song being used simply as a mission for the show sort of irked me at first. I mean, don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved our couple's duet, the process, and ultimately the UCC video that followed but I was really excited to hear the song and lyrics that Yong HIMSELF created for Hyun, and Hyun only. We as gogumas were truly privileged to been given a glimpse of the making of this song as it revealed Yong's truly real (& not reel) emotions. Now that we get to hear Yong's original version of the song, we really are getting the best of both worlds. Although I still wish that the mission had not been associated with the banmal song and had been a completely new duet song altogether. But that's a different story! Hehehehe. So excited for the official release of the banmal song~

i want to buy the Banamal song, but from the website soribada, they sell just digital version , is that right? that means no cd sold?. i would like to buy a Cd but digital version also good for me. hm, but anyone who already use soribada? it is really nice of you to share the experience. i try to sign in but still struggle with that:-)

I have mixed feeling on Banmal song being released as solo instead as duet while am happy that the song eventually got released but i would love to hear the female voice/pov in the song. Guess after listening to N times, am in tune with SH voice in it.

Maybe just maybe, someday, SH will be inspired by YH to have her own composition. It doesn't have to be about them. I remember that in one of SNSD interviews that she has yet to find a song in their albums that she is really satisfied.

Hence, since she has already has some 1st hand experience in lyric writing hopefully, she will strive to have a song that she can be proud of.

coming out of lurker mode.....so happy to read all your opinions and querys about our couple though sometimes too much analysis burdens my heart. Anywayz, i would just like to add the moment that struck me when Hyun was conversing with MIL.she said truthfully that she is just learning how to cook and she wants to learn from MIL how to make delicious meals.How sweet of her but what got unto me is how come she is asking MIL to teach her when everybody knows how close she is to her own Mom.I dont know if she is just being polite or she just blurted something deep within her.And look at Yonghwa pretending to drink to hide his reaction from the camera.

Just wanna say that I am really excited that the Banmal song will be released after all even though its only by yong and not a duet. I guess its more romantic this way, since yong also wanted to dedicate the song all to her right from the start. Since the whole world knows this song is for hyun, haha all the more better and meaningful the song will be!!

OMG I am totally happy that the Banmal Song is released under CN Blue. It's so much more meaningful cos it came from Yonghwa's heart and he has been working on it for a long time

Actually I wasn't that psyched when they received the mission to sing the duet.. I felt like it sort of cheapens the true value of the song.

With the banmal song being produced and released by FnC, it might appear in CN Blue's full korean album out in Feb!! And isn't it amazing that one of the songs will be about our very own Seoh Joo Hyun..??? I feel like its more discrete and sincere this way... Instead of having a couple mini-album with the duet... that will be a little cheesy, don't you think?

And personally.. I think SM Ent. is a company that FNC should minimize legal contracts with.. Things can get messy over issues like copyrights and profits...

SO IM REALLY EXCITED FOR THE OFFICIAL RELEASE !!!

Also... one more thing.. I find that the polls / surveys here sometimes go way out of hand... Like the one where each person write which country they're from... I find it unnecessary. If each person copies it, then the whole thread will be taken up by those and the exciting discussions about Yongseo will be compromised. You can just write where you're from at the end of your individual post.

And the glasses survey wasn't worth it too... It took up too much space in the thread. If only there was a side bar for polls and surveys.

I think each post should contain valuable thoughts and information about our wonderful Yongseo couple.

Btw, I'm from Singapore!! Nice to meet all you gogumas!! ^^

I love every part/scene of yongseo.. They make me smile and make me think that LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL.. I love Hyun becoz she has a great heart.. love her parent.. care about her nampyeon .. respect the other person especially the olders and now... she love her MIL too... FIL.. yes of course. Beautiful inside & outside

I love Yong because he was a great nampyeon & a good singer.. He care about Hyun and I believe that he wouln't make Hyun cry... He was a good son too.. we can see Yong's relationship with his mom.. so sweet.. That's why I love YongSeo Cp. Every saturday, my special day... just waiting for my Yongseo cp scene.. he he...

About Banmal song, GREAT!!.. thanks sapphire 18 for the news. I'm happy for that... because we know that banmal song actually from Yong's idea... so, can't wait for the song. How about the lyric??? wow!!! DAEBAK!!!.. Hyun must be very happy..

hmmm...... I'm glad many GOGUMAS here did not express heavy disappointments after the news came out!!! I'm glad to be one of YOU!! . We should understand it because even the PD of WGM stated this

“We thought it was appropriate to release the song as something that Yong Hwa has been personally preparing for a long time instead of it being related to ‘We Got Married’,” stated Kang Goong PD. He continued, “It’s true that he was inspired by the show, but it is a song Yong Hwa personally devoted time to. As a producer, I’m just thankful that we were able to unveil it through the broadcast. Seo Hyun is also extremely happy about the official release of the ‘Banmal Song’.”

Hey, then rather it being related to WGM, the song itself is already meaningful for both of them.......... and as a fan of CNBLUE's music and Yonghwa himself, I'm just thankful that this "BANMAL SONG" is related to Seohyun, NOT WGM......... I repeat, NOT WGM.... It's also mentioned that Seohyun is happy about the official release

Just like wallpaperfood said, this song's release does not even involve CNBLUE, so this song will always have a special meaning in Yonghwa's heart, to make him remember SEOHYUN

Oh, there's one more thing that I'm really happy about....... for the first time

WE FINALLY KNOW THE NAME OF THE PD IN CHARGE OF YONGSEO

THANK YOU KANG GOONG PD-NIM for pairing up these two wonderful individuals............ I'm really excited about listening to the Banmal song. We've already got the duet version, now I want to see what Yong REALLY wanted to say to Hyun! Hope he gets to promote it a little before the CN Blue album gets released.

The last few days have been crazy in this thread, but that seems to be normal in Go Chun.

When I read all the posts, I really feel like replying or commenting on almost each one of them, which however is impossible to do if I want to have a life outside of soompi yongseo thread!

lovekin Love all your analysis mails, probably because I tend to agree with most of your points (and we always like those we agree with more, don't we?) Please don't say you're over this ship? Please don't!

Looking forward to the return of mountainmadman and maybe j2dlee as well. Not to show disrespect to all the other awesome translators we have here. Its nice to see multiple translations so as to get a complete view of what REALLY went on in an episode!!

it's been a long time no post in here..these thread seem brighter and brighter everyday

yeah me, I've been away for a while and misses 4 episodes of our lovely couple! And you have no idea how SURPRISE, HAPPY, STUNNED, SPEECHLESS etc I am watching all 4 episodes in a row, it was like every minute is my birthday hahahaa...

and because of recent episode, i think i;m in love with jungmo trax, he's hilarious, teasing yonghwa like that,..
