hi, fellow goguma friends, it's my first time posting here in 2011. i wish you all happy new year. to our yongseo couple, i wish them a fruitful year in their career and a blissful year in their couple life.

last week is totally a goguma week for all of us, right ? starting from saturday, watching them finishing the lyrics of their first song in wgm, banmal song, then sunday night, watching their banmal song video on youtube, .... my heart at that time in fact nearly stopped and exploded... it's all beyond my expectation. the timing and the pace of the whole issue is too fast for me to be ready to accept. then tuesday night, first thing after back to home, rewatching the youtube banmal song video, then ... all of a sudden seeing the news about their wedding filming, then it came forth and back to be said a rumor or a fact,... till it was confirmed... it all happened within a couple of days ,,, as said before, we have to be positive, they always make things unexpected.

about yesterday ep, to me, that's a heartwarming night, yong and hyun working hard for their first couple song, making it real to the world, disseminating their love to those who love them, sharing their blissfulness.... a very meaningful event and mission in their couple life. in this ep, i could see how a caring buin to support and encourage her frustrated nampong (not sure the spelling). after the nth time ngs when yong started feeling frustrated, buin carefully looked at her nampong without making any complaint. she just stood next to him, watching carefully his facial expression, whispering lightly to him "fighting"... then after another nth time ngs, he became silent because of the unsuccessfulness on his part, he played guitar unconsciously. she stopped him by holding his guitar tightly, .... still kept on asking him to work hard. my favourite part is the last ng part. this time, their song was close to perfect, only having a small mistake and yong started to feel good. after finishing this time, yong happily laid down on the sofa and was like thinking the whole performance again. hyun read his mind, knowing that he was still not totally happy with it. she knew he wanted to try another time. so she suggested the last time performance, saying that yong knew it would be perfect. yong just happily admitted and stood up for their next try. ,,,, it's nice to see how hyun's words lightened yong's face.... really really heartwarming couple.

my feeling now... too happy to be a goguma fan, unbelievable that a young and inexperienced couple brings me so many sweet moments.... on my part, they are two of the most influential persons in my year 2010, and hopefully, also in the coming year.

like some of you, i am interested to know who 'duckduckduck' is. it seems to me it's yong. really hope he would make a post here again.

My wish for Yongseo in Year 2011 is for them to HUG each other. I'm not even talking about kissing or dating... just a HUG will set off fireworks in Gogumaland!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! The reason I did the translations was because I felt like I wanted to contribute something to this thread with the first step into the new year. I hope the translations have helped some clueless Goguma's out there. I was and still kind of am one of those who'd watch the raw thousands of times just to satisfy my hunger before translations are out. Fortunately I've been able to pick up the language pretty well since a year ago, so I thought I'd give it a go for this episode as I thought 'there wouldn't be any translations anyway'

aisuo415...SERIOUSLY? What are you talking about?! Yah! If you can translate from Korean to English even though you are not a Korean native speaker, we here at soompi goguma would worship you! When I watch Koran dramas and the translation is so bad, my head aches, I get so frustrated that I want to enroll myself in a Korean language class.

I know it is tiring to translate and the translator's happiness gets deflated a little when somebody else first gets the translation done. But maybe we could arrange something like in the 2nd week of January maybe Mountainmadman could translate, 3rd wk - j2dlee, and so on. I don't know. But every translation that gets out, I read them all, SERIOULSY!

For wendlyloveshoshi, thank you for the first translation, I'm sure everybody got relieved from their anxious waiting for the translation. A drop of water would always be appreciated by thirsty gogumas. Thanks also for the translating goguma news every so often.

And aisuo415 thanks a lot! You don't know how much we appreciate your efforts. Rest well!

Yah! Haha I love your reaction. (You might be older than me, so I apologize in advance for being rude if that's the case lol) Unfortunately I'm not Korean nor a native speaker of the language My mother tongue is Vietnamese, grew up in The Netherlands therefor can speak Dutch and English has always been fascinating to me so I can speak that fluently too. So Korean is far and far away from the languages I grew up with. I got interested in the language about a year ago and so decided to get the basics down. Once you know them, Korean isn't a difficult language at all ^^ It took quite a while to figure out the vocabulary though, because they talk so fast. This would be my only time translating though. I'm fully aware of the fact that my translations aren't 100% correct and that it'd be better if someone who actually speaks the language fluently would do it.

I hope no one feels bad about me staying up till 3AM to get the translations done I received some PMs about it - thank you very much! I will reply to everyone. I started at around 10PM and when it hit twelve o'clock I decided to go on as it's just my personality to have it finished before I go to sleep. It's just my stubbornness that got the better of me!

After replaying the video for about 16534 times for translating I noticed a lot of little moments between them that I haven't noticed before while watching it. It really is these subtle things that make them.

hi aisuo415!sorry to cut your post short. i think most of them already said it ... we all love translations of any kind and we all read all the translations regardless of it being for the same episode or the same article. different people translate and interpret differently and we all truly appreciate the hard work put into it. doesn't matter if it's your first or your only time or you aren't Korean... i know i am more than 100% grateful for it's frustrating to watch raw and seeing all the sweet interaction but don't know what is going on. also the little note about you wanting to contribute something....aigooo you are already contributing a lot! giving great insights and keeping the thread alive in fact, i think everyone contribute their part by making this thread alive although some do more than others. but it's hard to measure. all gogumas here are great!

recently there are many insights about their relationship and i think it's truly great to hear different opinions. thanks for sharing. some of it did not even cross my mind. to me, it's pretty simple - two people who like each other should get together. but i guess it ain't as easy as it seems. so many factors to consider. in fact, one of the thing that was brought up was that perhaps Yong (as much as he look like he really like Hyun a lot) might be the one holding back. interesting actually...perhaps that might be the case since as mentioned, he was voted for having a different personality on tv.

okays...enough of my ramblings. i am glad to stumble upon this little Go-Chun with great Goguma villagers.

Hi all! Haven't got the chance to watch the latest ep yet but from our reactions I'm glad to know our shy Hyun has become more touchy feely now. AM here to ask a question I've been thinking for a while - we all know the chaos that took place when we discovered that Yong and Hyun wear (or do not wear) their rings outside WGM. My Q is do other couples wear them too? DO they even have their own set? Cos if they have their own set and NOT wear them then that speaks volume bout our couple.

My Q is do other couples wear them too? DO they even have their own set? Cos if they have their own set and NOT wear them then that speaks volume bout our couple.

adam couple have their own couple ring but i seldom( or rather never) see them wear it outside WGM. so that does speaks alot of uri yongseo huh!!

and khuntoria does not have their rings yet.

This episode is simply daebak! Although what they did was just repeating every time they have an NG take, the episode exuded sweetness. It won't be YS couple without those eyeship scenes.

Simple yet we knew that there is something in those stares. Something meaningful that only the two of them know. Srsly. When Hyun rested her head on Yong shoulder, I was like Aigoo. There's nothing more to say.

And Taeyeon's stmt about Hyun should date Yong in real life. Well, Yong the sister-in-law is all for it.

There is no preview? Yahhh. Fine. I'll wait patiently - New year's Resolution. And thanks a lot for the vids, trans and everything.

Many of you are familiar with the hilarious and dorky Taeyeon that is usually seen on-screen, but behind the cameras, she's actually more quiet and serious than what most people think. She's very straightforward and will voice out her opinion if she's displeased with something. This is the reason why, out of all Seohyun's unnies, her statement meant a lot (to me, at least). My first reaction after reading that particular interview was, 'Oh, she's a goguma shipper, too.' But after spazzing out, I realized that Taeyeon wouldn't say something like this unless she's very sure of what's going on with Seohyun and Yonghwa. She may be the leader of the nation's IT girl group, but her number one priority remains the same: to take care of her dongsaengs and make sure they don't get hurt.

I've told myself that I'll stop overanalyzing things when it comes to Yongseo, but it's a futile effort. It seems that there is always SOMETHING to talk about when it comes to this couple. Here are my guesses regarding Taeyeon's message:

I. Taeyeon wants them to date for real but Seohyun is holding back because of unknown reasons (which are probably career-related).

II. They're already dating off-cam. Taeyeon is just subtly telling the fans so they won't die of shock if it is publicly revealed in the future.

Oh, man. I love the possibility of the second one <3

Honestly, I love how Seohyun's unnies are so supportive of this relationship. It's funny how they're so open about it, while Yonghwa is more... private, I guess? Maybe, it's also due to the fact that CN Blue is a rookie band -- and being new in the industry, their ultimate goal is still to please their fans in every way possible. I'm neither Sone nor Boice, but if there's one thing I learned regarding the K-Pop industry, it's this: fans of boygroups are much scarier than fans of girlgroups. I'm not generalizing the entire fandom, but it's true to some extent. If ever they would date in real life, I have a feeling that Yonghwa would like to keep everything in private. Although he's more open and talkative than Seohyun in We Got Married, he strikes me as someone who's very serious in protecting his loved ones and would do everything to keep them away from the limelight. So Taeyeon's message should now act as a kind of go signal for Yonghwa not to be scared of the unnies anymore. How lucky can he get? A lot of guys must be so jealous of him.

The new episode seemed so short even though we got the usual 20-minutes. I'm guessing the PD's are dragging out Yongseo episodes since both SNSD and CN Blue are going to get busier this year (I was about to type in next year, and I realized it's already 2011). The next episode will probably be a continuation of this week's episode, which includes a special appearance of jealous Yonghwa. You know, it's a good thing I didn't expect anything from yesterday's episode because I would probably be flaming mad right now. One thing I learned from watching We Got Married? Do not trust the previews. EVER. They tend to exaggerate so that a lot of viewers would tune in. As if a boring preview would prevent me from watching Yongseo. They could stare at each other all day long and I'd still watch the episode over and over again.

I don't know if I'm being delusional, but the way Seohyun glances at Yonghwa in this episode is... more tender and loving. It could be pity because he was struggling with the countless NG's. But it's not just the stares and glances, it's those little touches she does every now and then. And she just had to lean on his shoulders -- twice. It doesn't even matter if it only happened in a split second. Fact remains: she leaned on his shoulder, period.

Coming out of the woodwork to wish everyone a Sweet (Potato) and prosperous New Year!

I'm normally very quiet and would really just enjoy reading everybody's thoughts and observations, but I think this week--no, this *month* deserves some noise. It's not everyday, after all, that this sweet couple turns 300 days, upload a UCC, reach 1,000,000 million views in two days, and then shine in their performances in the music festivals of the past two nights.

I know a lot of you here are also readers and writers over at gogumafics. I speak for my co-mods (who are also on Soompi, but since I don't have their permission to "out" them, I won't ) in gratitude to the contributions in growing the community. We are currently, right this moment, at 300 members, and we're barely three months old.

In the excitement for the New Year and all the daebak happenings in the lives of our beloved couple, we at gogumafics are also holding a celebration event.

anyway, how come no preview for next week's episode ?

i think some unanswered question like

1. Who got the china pandas ?

2. The small blue elephant, I didn't see it before... this is its first appearance right ?

3. when will they released the song ? and do we get to see a LIVE performance in MBC somewhere (concert )?

after all these ends, do our Seohyun will successfully talk banmal with our Yoong ? *quoted image*

i've been watching past episodes this week and the blue baby elephant was there before, yong~ brought it along with all the other elephants, it's just that after that epi (ep.14) i don't remember seeing it at all

i also want to know why there are no previews

is there no wgm next saturday or no yongseo?

EDIT: ..or maybe they're going to still show the making of the banmal song (the part that's still missing about yong being jealous and messages from friends) and that's why there are no previews

According to a rumor in Shinee China Baidu, Yong went to Shinee's concert. Actually lots artists went to their concert, including SeoHyun. I don't know when the radio show was recorded. If it was recorded at night in 2011/01/01,it's interesting that instead of attending a radio show with CNBlue members, he went to Shinee's concert.
