Media experts vote on the Best of Television: Drama, Variety Program, MC

 

With the end of the year nearing, media portal Asia Today has gathered 100 broadcasting personnel including those who work in  film, drama, entertainment, and music to vote on the best of the best on television.

Those included in the votes included television work from the past 10 years from 2005 to 2015 such as the best television drama, the best entertainment program, and the best entertainer.

There were quite a few ties with 1 Night 2 Days and The Genius coming in 3rd place for ‘Best Entertainment Program’ and Kim Gu Ra and Jung Hyung Don coming in 4th as ‘Best Entertainer.’

Taecyeon calls out scalpers for selling overpriced concert tickets to fans

 

 

2PM member Ok Taecyeon is not happy with scalpers who are reselling tickets to fans at an overpriced amount and has voiced out his discontent in a recent tweet.

On November 25th, Taecyeon wrote on his Twitter account, “Really agents… They buy tickets that are already expensive and sell them for many times the price… Isn’t it illegal to have people buy tickets for you and then reselling them for an extremely high price? Not even at the same price or cheaper but at an extremely higher cost…”

While it isn’t known which concert he is relating this post to, whether it is a 2PM-related event, or just K-pop events in general, this isn’t the first time a celebrity has spoken up about scalpers.

Agencies and production companies have even taken steps in the past few months to stop the re-selling of tickets at a higher price than advertised such as SIVA Group for Epik High‘s U.S. concert and SM Entertainment with Super Junior Kyuhyun‘s and Girls’ Generation Taeyeon‘s solo concerts.

With K-pop concerts in-demand all over the world, scalpers have taken advantage of fans, scamming hundreds of thousands of dollars.

2PM’s Jun. K picks Chansung and Taecyeon over other members

 

 

Jun. K of K-pop boy band 2PM chose Chansug and Taecyeon over other members as the two he would most like to go on a trip with during an interview with Japanese entertainment outlet Oricon Style, on Wednesday.

“I want to travel Switzerland with Chansung, for no particular reason. And with Taecyeon, I’m expecting to go on a long trip with him in a few years,” said Jun. K.

The 27-year-old recently dropped his second solo EP, “Love Letter,” in Japan, selling more than 20,000 copies on the day of release.

Another K-pop star has joined Snapchat!

On December 2, 2PM‘s Taecyeon tweeted to fans that he’d joined Snapchat!

“Snapchat? I have to give this a try keke, taeccool1227″

Snapchat is a social media platform where users can share short videos or photos for a limited period of time. Taecyeon joins a growing list of K-pop stars snapping fans, current users include f(x)’s Amber (ajol.0918), Epik High (bornhaters), and missA’s Min (therealminnn).

Fans can add Taecyeon with the username taeccool1227. Although users won’t be able to snap him personally, users will be able to access his Snapchat Story, which is viewable to anyone who has added him.

He confessed that the 2PM members were initially against the shirt-ripping choreography but after much persuasion, eventually convinced them. Once they noticed the positive response from fans, Taecyeon kept ripping off his shirt even when he wasn't supposed to.

 

He told us he got a text message from Taecyeon after one of the performances saying, "Hyung I'm sorry, I got caught up in the moment and ripped my shirt off again."
