Hi lkh2, IDK also what time will this be - I only know that this is TODAY, July 22..... I heard only legal attorneys are allowed to attend. The first issue to be dealt with is the possibility of her having been pregnant or not. KHJ claimed she wasn't pregnant and that she should provide evidence if she was. And it's also a lie that she had a miscarriage from Kim Hyun-joong abusing her.

Singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong and his ex-girlfriend A's lawsuit continues. The Seoul Central District Court proceeded with the second trial on the 22nd. This is a hearing that collects materials for judgment to build a foundation so only legal attorneys are allowed to attend. 
Both sides have been firm about their statements and the first issue to be dealt with is the possibility of A having been pregnant or not. Kim claimed she wasn't pregnant and that she should provide evidence if she was. 
Kim's legal attorneys said, "It's not true that she was pregnant and it's also a lie that she had a miscarriage from Kim Hyun-joong abusing her". Kim was sued by A for 1.6 billion won and after the truth about her pregnancy got out, he counter sued her for 1.2 billion. 
Currently, Kim Hyun-joong is at legal war with the girlfriend who he was with for over 2 years. A claimed he hit her last year and sued him but cancelled charges because she didn't want him punished. 
The Eastern Branch of Seoul District Public Prosecutors' Office fined Kim for 5 million won and it seemed like that was it but A filed another case against him on the 7th of April, three months later. Kim Hyun-joong is currently in National Service.

Well. The second hearing was over and there will be the3rd hearing in September . I wonder why the court can not demand choi's side to bring the evidence now because if they do not have by now they will never have it. Anyone here understand legal process please explain a bit.

I'm very curious to know the opinion of ATT.Lee after the second hearing.

Well, we need to be patient I guess.

It really annoys to see that the justice is really hard to get when a person 's character was killed because of wrongly accusation. It seems the legal system alone is not quick enough people in the society need to show that they will not allow and accept wrong doing practice in their society. I heard someone said that " Justice that take too long is injustice " and I tend to agree with this statement.l

I hope HJ and his family are well settle with the legal process. I hope they will get a lot of support from people in SK who still care for justice . However i 'm positive when thinking that people in SK usually hate blackmailing and cheating.for money.

KIm Hyun Joong's Legal Representatives Think His Ex-Girlfriend Is A Flight Risk

 

 

Legal representatives for Kim Hyun Joong expressed their concern about the possibility that his former girlfriend could be a flight risk, following recent reports that she is allegedly unable to confirm her pregnancy.

A report published by the Korean outlet Hanginu News, explored concerns regarding the woman known as A or Choi. "Ms. Choi, his ex-girlfriend, might try to escape abroad," said legal representatives for actor and singer, Kim Hyun Joong.
The article went on to address the on-going case, whose upcoming hearing has been scheduled for September 23.

While his ex-girlfriend continues to allegedly state that she has evidence of her current and previous pregnancy, legal representatives for Kim have eluded to conflicting evidence. "Ms. Choi's side stated their is a witness who can prove she is pregnant," said a representative for the SS501 member. "But our side is ready with a witness who can confirm the fact that there is not enough data supporting [Ms. Choi's] pregnancy."

The member of Kim's legal team continued to discuss the possibility that his ex-girlfriend could attempt to escape Korea, as she approaches the conclusion of her alleged pregnancy. "The end of the second trimester of her pregnancy is approaching and there are several parties involved on Choi's side," said the representative. "There is speculation that she is likely to escape overseas." 
Kim Hyun Joong has faced on-going legal woes since August 2014. In June 2015, his ex-girlfriend failed to provide evidence that she was pregnant. This potentially negated reports that date back to February 2015, where she announced that was carrying the Hallyu star's child.

His legal representatives recently stated that the star was considering a counter-suit against his former lover, as she has failed to produce evidence of her pregnancy and injuries that were allegedly sustained by assault from the singer-turned-actor. 
Meanwhile, Kim continues to adhere to his period of mandatory military service, with his members from his legal team addressing the media.

Couldn't the court order them 'to submit your evidence or else get lost' kind of sentence?

I mean the way this is going there's a distinct feeling that they are deliberately with-holding their 'evidence' & trying to drag this as long as possible. Or perhaps they truly do not have concrete ones or are trying to drag this until the fright's given birth if she's really preggie.

Are they that dense to understand that their credibility's very much gone with all these run-around?

Second pretrial for Ms. Choi's suit against Kim Hyun Joong held
 

Earlier this afternoon (KST) at Seoul Central District Court, the second pretrial hearing for Ms. Choi's 1.6 billion KRW (~$1.4 million USD) suit against Kim Hyun Joong was held. 
The pretrial hearing is a time during which major issues are sorted out and evidence is checked in order for the judge to progress the trial with efficiency. The major issue for this pretrial was identified as 'validity of pregnancy.'
After the short 30-minute pretrial concluded, Lee Jae Man reportedly said that "nothing new was revealed," whereas Sun Jong Moon countered otherwise, claiming that his side "submitted text message documents that prove the pregnancy." Ms. Choi's lawyer further stated that his side has the pregnancy test kit and that it will be revealed at a later time.
Ultimately, because Ms. Choi wasn't able to submit documents that proved her pregnancy, a third pretrial was scheduled to be held on September 23. 
Lee Jae Man insisted, "Ms. Choi certainly wasn't pregnant. That's why [her side] doesn't even need a witness. I've heard that her side has prepared evidence and I wonder what it is. We don't plan to reveal [our evidence] today, but it will be substantial" 
Kim Hyun Joong's side, on the other hand, asserted, "Ms. Choi was not pregnant last year. Her miscarriage is also a falsity," and countersued Ms. Choi for 1.2 billion KRW (~$1.05 million USD).

If choi's sister is her witness today . I believe she might be the one who contacted HJ and told HJ that choi was depress and asked him to comfort choi in Dec. I remembered from ATT' Lee 's interview he said HJ was advised by someone who is very closed to choi to give choi comfort because she was very depress and HJ did that out of his compassion.. In my opinion these two sisters had made a premeditated plan to trap him to responsible for choi's current pregnancy. Her lawyer might involve in this plan as well.

I think choi's lawyer tried to make the court looks ridiculous by allowing them to postpone submitting the evidence which is a text messages and pregnancy tester which they should have in hand long long time ago like since a year.ago. However does the text message is really can be an evidence for pregnancy proved ? if not why allow them to drag this case for another 2 months ? Is it normal that the court can not do anything for this ?

It's a civil case so the rules are more lax.  The only thing text messages might prove - KHJ thought she was pregnant (we know that already) & possibly some attachments of ultrasounds, etc - but if those aren't backed up by ANY reputable medical clinic then that would be meaningless.  Which looks to be the case since Lawyer Lee sent off to all the clinics she supposedly went to & got nothing to verify her story LOL

Okay...so let me get this straight,  Choi and her lawyer filed a lawsuit against KHJ and those idiots aren't ready for their own darn court case????  Are you serious!!!!! When you file a lawsuit, aren't you suppose to be ready with all of your evidence?    KHJ did not file this lawsuit.  It was CHOI who filed the lawsuit and now they want a continuance because they don't have the evidence? How long will this judge allow Choi and her lawyer to play games with the court?  Isn't the court paid for by the tax payers of Seoul?  She is wasting tax dollars and playing games with that court because she doesn't have a case.   Choi's case should be thrown out and KHJ needs to proceed with his counter lawsuit.   I'm telling you that Choi needs to go to jail, along with her lawyer, her sister, her mother and that Macoy who is over at AllkPop.com causing problems.
