결국 재범의 2PM 탈퇴가 결정됐다.

한국인비하발언 논란으로 곤욕을 치루던 재범은 9월8일 카페를 통해 자신의 탈퇴 사실을 알렸다. 소속사도 이를 인정했다. 며칠 간 가요계를 뜨겁게 달궜던 논란이 결국 탈퇴로 마무리되고 있다.

이번 사태가 주는 교훈을 아이돌들은 잘 깨달아야 한다. 아이돌 매니지먼트사들도 '대중'들의 무서움을 다시 한번 확인하는 계기가 되길 바란다.

사 실 이번 사태를 둘러싼 논란은 단순히 재범이란 내적인 요인에만 기인하진 않는 듯 보인다. 해체논란, 표절논란 등 아이돌들에게 실망할대로 실망한 대중들이 '이번만큼은 가만히 두질 않겠다'고 '이를 갈고, 칼을 갈았던' 점은 이번 논란이 증폭된 한 이유다. 대중들이 계속 '옳지 않다'라고 말을 하는데도 귀를 닫고 눈을 감은 일부 아이돌에 대한 분노가 재범의 한국인비하발언에 폭발한 측면도 없지 않다. 일부에서 이번 일을 두고 '마녀사냥'이라 지칭하는 것도 그만한 이유가 있기 때문이다.

팬들의 사랑을 이제는 당연스레, 이를 넘어, 그 사랑을 악용하는 아이돌들은 이번 사건을 가슴에 새겨야할 때다. 대중들의 힘은 '우리 오빠 만만세'를 외치게만 내버려두질 않는다는 것을 확실히 각인해야한다. '좀 잘못하면 어때' '어차피 조용해질텐데..' '성공하면 그만'이라는 옳지 못한 생각들이 팽배해진 국내 아이돌 세계에 철퇴가 가해진 것이다. 결국 재범의 탈퇴라는 결정은 단순히 재범만의 문제가 아닌 現 아이돌 모두가 책임져야 할 일일 수도 있다.

매니지먼트 사들의 소속 연예인 관리 문제도 반성해야할 시기다. 돈만 된다면 그 외의 행동에 대해선 무책임하게 일관하는 일부 매니지먼트사들의 소홀한 연예인 관리체계는 변해야 한다. 아티스트가 아닌 상품으로만 소속 연예인을 대하기에 이들에 대한 도덕 교육, 사회화 교육은 안중에 있을리가 없다. 감성적으로, 또 지식적으로 제떄 교육을 받아야할 어린 아이돌들이 삐뚫어질 수 밖에 없는 건 당연지사다.

어찌됐든 재범의 탈퇴로 이번 논란은 일단락될 것으로 보인다. '사필귀정'이든, 아니면 '마녀사냥'이든 이젠 엎지러진 물이요, 되돌릴 수 없는 길을 왔다. 이번 일이 주는 교훈 이를 심각하게 받아들이지 않는다면 제2의 재범은 내일이라도 다시 생겨날 수 있음을 아이돌과 소속사는 확실히 알아야만 한다.

the title basically says...."the lesson learned from jay's leave...idols need a reality check" the article says how idols need to keep themselves in check and succumb to the fans - that might be a harsh translation but that's the overall tone of the article. The writer says that in light of current events (i.e. g-dragon's plagiarism issues), fans were not going to let go of this event easily and that idols as a collective need to take responsibility.

0.o really?? is there nothing ELSE learned from jay leaving??? like taking responsibility for the pain/harm you cause on an individual.

Jay is my little sister's favorite member.

She is going to be so heartbroken. :(

I truly hope that he will think over his decision while he is in Seattle.

Each member in a boy/girl band is important no matter how big or small of a role he/she played.

I can't imagine how the rest of the members are feeling right now... :tears:
