I think people completely forget that Leah Dizon had some pretty racy photos when she was an import model. It just has to do with the fact that they're two completely different markets in terms of image - with import modeling, it's sexy, while with the Japanese market, it's more on the cute side. Both are equally as perverted, although I don't think a lot of people realize that the cute image is just as perverse as sexy. Let's not forget also that many famous Japanese actresses/singers started out as gravure models.

It's very easy to change your image, but I see that Misa Campo hasn't sold out as badly as Leah Dizon did... yet.

Oh, and there are plenty of talented Japanese musicians out there. Leah Dizon barely made a dent in the Japanese music industry. It's not like anybody remembers any of her great hits.
