To the newbies, not so senior and senior minsuners :-* . in time for our celebration of BOF's 5th Year...sharing this article from Drama Queen/Donnapie's blog (Aug2011) :x i love reading it again and again  (Have edited some parts where Donnapie mentioned other couple name)

OTP.

A three letter abbreviation that can turn us drama fanatics spazzing just at the mere mention of the word.

A shortcut for the aptly coined ONE TRUE PAIRING, they are the couplings that we learnt to love on screen and who tickled our fancy as we fangirled, squeed, spazzed and convulsed over every single act that they’ve done while in character and at the same time they keep us guessing (and hoping) whether or not that intense chemistry have somehow spilt or will somehow spill into real life.

In honor of the pairings that have made my heart race and who brought out CSI like tendencies in me and to most of my fellow shippers, I now present to you the list of my most well loved Asian celebrity OTP’s in no particular order.

(Primarily because they have kept me or have continued to keep me guessing if they have been or haven’t been, are or aren’t they, but mostly because they perpetually emanate the chemistry  they shared while playing onscreen lovers even when they’re back to being their real selves and because they continue to keep us spazzing long after the cameras have stopped rolling)

Lee Minho and Goo Hyesun

also known collectively as MinSun

Claim to Fame:

Lee Minho and Goo Hyesun both shot to superstardom while playing the role of star crossed lovers Goo Junpyo and Geum Jandi in the Korean adaptation of Hana Yori Dango called Boys Over Flowers.

Though the OTP’s interaction were quite limited during its second season to angsty and emo, it was the offcam happenings between these two that gained them a massive following as fangirls all over the world channeled their Minho fantasies into collectively living their lives vicariously through Hyesun.

OTP History:

Minho and Hyesun were both in the variety show NonStop 5 where Hyesun was a main stay and Minho did a cameo but their paths did not cross while doing the show. It was only when they were casted as the leads in the Korean remake of Hana Yori Dango when their friendship started and they have never looked back since then…

Oh, the flirtation! These two certainly made us go back to giddy high school feelings of attraction just by the offcamera scenes that they shared while filming Boys Over Flowers.

A main cause maybe of the scandal  that broke out between these two while filming.

A scandal that hinted  that they are in an intimate relationship with each other but which both their camps immediately denied citing reasons of  the two just being close friends which can perhaps be mistaken for something more just because they’re “affectionate” with each other.

However, the bond and closeness that the two have built during the long almost 24/7 shoots while the drama was ongoing must have led to something good because even after 3 years have passed since BOF ended,  the Korean press up till early this year is still constantly linking them to each other through questions they ask both in interviews that are not related to whatever it is they’re filming.

Fan accounts also sometimes mention how these two are constantly spotted together with the other F4 boys in random places during early mornings in Seoul and even if we’d never know what went on between them during all those times, there will always be the good old happy memories of their friendship that will keep a MinSun shippers faith alive.

Offcam Sightings:

As mentioned,  fan accounts normally chronicle sightings of the two at different pubs and restaurants across the city…

However,  they were also spotted watching SS501′s concert  and Kim Joon’s play together along with Kim Bum in 2009, months after BOF has ended…

In both occassions, both appear to be quite nervous as if wary of the pairs of eyes following them and the attention that they get everywhere they go.

But despite that, Minho does not find that a hindrance as he has also always been very supportive of Hyesun by always making time in his busy schedule to attend various occasions that are quite important to her such as the opening of her art exhibit and the premiere of her directorial debut MAGIC June of last year.

Almost always these two take great lengths to avoid drawing attention to themselves in such occasions either by walking very fast or by keeping their head down low and leaving in the middle of the shows or arriving late when the press line has been dispersed and when chances of getting filmed together are lesser.

Notable spazzworthy moments:

Despite the age gap, Minho seems more like the authority figure when it comes to Hyesun. He takes care of her and is so affectionate towards her that one would think she is younger and not older.

He unwraps her candies for her, pours water for her, directs the way for her and he has such an uncanny fascination with her hair as he is seen in most occasions brushing it away from her face.

During a filming of BOF Minho was caught oncam telling Hyesun directly that HE MISSES HER, making Hyesun cover her face in embarassment.

 

There was also one interview in Taiwan where Hyesun was asked who among the F4 she’d like for a boyfriend in real life and Minho repeatedly volunteered himself saying “Me, Me” while Hyesun just smiled shyly.

There are also occassions when Minho displayed his jealous streak like when Hyesun was telling him offcam about how the character Ha Je carried her and how it was better than how Minho did it and he was unsmilingly prodding her about the scene accusing Hyesun of how she must have liked it that kept her giggling like a school girl all throughout the exchange.

Lastly, who could ever forget how cozy these two were backstage at the KBS drama awards held January 2010 that it was enough to bring all MinSun shippers to a constant state of euphoria even weeks after.

CSI clues that keep netizens guessing if they are or they aren’t:

 

Presence of couple shirts and couple rings.

There was even a fanmeet where after looking at the drawing of his own hand pensively Minho purposefully drew a ring on it

Hyesun rarely accesorizes if at all, and the sighting of the ring on her hand constantly at that time drew much buzz among all MinSun shippers.

During Hyesun’s accident while BOF was ongoing, it was also found out that MINHO WAS THE ONE WHO WAS FIRST ON THE SCENE and that he was the one who brought her to the hospital.

This incident was initially kept under wraps but was also digged up by the press a couple of days after.

There was also an article written about in Korea Sports by writer Lee Hyuna about how the two were seen cozying up in a hotel bar after the BOF wrap party.

 

The way that these two constantly update their twitter and cyworld accounts at almost exactly the same time at one point was also suspect along with how friends tease them constantly to each other despite the fact that BOF is long over.

However, one can not dispute the EXTREME closeness that at one point, this two have shared and whether there was something more then between them it will be the memories that will forever keep a MinSun shippers heart aflutter.

Oh so sweet indeed! The bts of BOF don't lie. Up to now we have some tangible things to spazz out. Thanks to our couple! LMH kept his promise not to date in public but one thing he always wear is the couple ring. Even in heirs filming he still wears it. He never stray & he never look another woman the way he look at GHS. The camera has stop rolling but his smile & the way he look at her shows GHS is his EVERYTHING!!! ) :X

i have read  GHS interview..:"that is important for her is comfortable even when her good friend premiere vip film she chose not to came because she feel uncomfortable(i think it's a good friend KIM BUM,because it was only intermittent interview bit)why GHS feel Unconfortable ,because at the time co star in CH come(which at that time still same agency with kimbum)....actually MINSUN already give us a hint...<3 u all minsunners....

Lee Min Ho In Interview, “I Love My Fans”

2009. There was a man. He played the main character of a drama after years of no exposure. It was a role of a high school millionaire. The drama was a hit, and the man became a hot star.

2013. There was a man. He wore a high school uniform in four years. it was another high school millionaire character. Some criticized him for playing the exact same role all over again. However, with his stable acting skills, he became the hottest star again.

And there is a man who prepares for 2014. He is already feeling greedy with work. He already chose his debut film, and is planning to pick two or three more movies to film.

This is the past, present, and future of Lee Min Ho. He overcame the hard times of no exposure as an actor and became a star. Now he is in the middle of the Hallyu culture.

Lee Min Ho said, "In 2014, I am going to be in my late 20s. I did not want this time to just go by. I wanted to show the public my acting. If not now, I will never be able to show them the feel of a boy anymore. Since I will always be acting, I thought I did not have to change my second role."

His decision was right. Every episode of "The Heirs" was an issue, and Lee Min Ho was standing right there in the middle of every issue. Although he wore the high school uniform again, there was no Goo Joon Pyo. He said, "When I played Goo Joon Pyo in 'Boys Over Flowers' in 2009, I decided on even the direction of my eyes and my fingers. But playing Kim Tan was different. I put everything down every time I acted him. Instead of forming the character, I was faitful to the script. I worried in the beginning, but I quickly gained confidence."

In addition to the acting style, his perception of the acting life changed in 2013, Lee Min Ho says.

He said, "When I see the fans outside of Korea, I realized that I can't prioritize Korean dramas and films over the international ones. I think this is the time when I pick the next work equally, without the boundaries of Korean or other countries."

In addition to the movie "Kangnam Blues," he plans to film two or three more movies. He is also considering international ones. In addition, he also wishes to become an all around entertainer.

Lee Min Ho said he wants to set the prototype of a concert type fan meeting.

"In fact, before, I did not like singing. But I feel that it is unavoidable now, and I want to do my best at it. I want to set the prototype my fan meetings for the fans to think that, 'Lee Min Ho's performances are like this.'"

Lee Min Ho said all of the reasons for this is for the fans.

"At every acting awards ceremony, I said the reason of my existence is my fans. This is not just an expression. The confidence I have comes from my fans. So I cannot help but put my best effort into everything. I want to give back for the love I am currently receiving, and I want to become better at the things the fans like."

In as much as we want LMH to act in her movie, hubby already said no because he know the director in a personal level. How personal? He answered this in one of the interviews before. Imagine wifey directing hubby! Hahaha.. There will be bickering in the set. ) lol!

@Surie_Riri she's trying to think & hope her answers are not obvious! Hahahaha! She knows that she can't fool MinSun fans. She accepted MinSun gifts too! If she & Lmh are not together why accept MinSun gifts? Same with LMH in LA during the heirs filming. He also accepted MinSun gifts. Hahaha these two are funny. His Indonesia FM was also clear, he accepted MinSun gifts with GHS picture! Awwwwww! Now what can you say? Hmmmmm.... MinSun is past, present & future! :X
