K-Pop super group the Wonder Girls were included in our 2011 Beautiful People issue (on stands now), but we thought these photos and extra quotes from Alex Littlefield's profile on the group were just too fabulous not to share. Read on for more Wonder Girl wisdom from members Yenni and Yubin about making it in the U.S. and what it takes to be one of them.

What it takes to be a Wonder Girl.

We believe that everyone can be a Wonder Girl; if you believe in yourself and really dream about something. It's not like we have super powers, or a super talented or super beautiful, super pretty, but we have passion and we believe in ourselves." --Yenny

On 'starting over' in the U.S.:Before we [came to New York], we knew it would be starting all over again. It was fun. In Korea, people would be like, 'What do you need? What do you want?' -- all the time. But here we have to find what we need. I feel a little bit more freedom." --Yenny

How that motivates them:

"In Korea, we loved to make music, but here we really, really realized that we want to pursue our career. And that's really thanks to fans who want to support us." --Yubin

On fame:

"The first few years [in the group] were a little hard, for all of us. We were really young and really busy, and we felt like we were maybe missing something, as [in] a teenager life ... Life just changed; it totally changed. We were students, teenage girls, and suddenly we were singers." --Yubin

WG was mentioned in yesterday's episode of 100% Entertainment.

The narrator highlighted 'Nobody' as one of the top memorable pop dances &, referencing Show Luo, credited JYP for the choreography.

Show Luo recalled (translated as follows:) seeing a clip where JYP was writing songs & self-choreographing for WG at home, & said it left a lasting impression of him cuz JYP was wearing shorts & willingly doing both (songwriter/choreographer) for his protege.

WONDERGIRLS member LIM updated their latest US activities on Twitter.

In her photo, LIM had combed her hair into a high updo while snuggly wearing an oversized hoodie & short jeans. She might not have gotten to perform in Korea much yet, but LIM remains as adorable as ever. She tweeted: "I love to write in my diary because it clears my mind" which reveals her levelheaded love for writing.

WG had recently represented Korea in global star Jackie Chan's 'Love Beyond Borders 311" concert in Hong Kong. They plan to make a Korean comeback after completing their American album.

ㆍYG엔터, 코스닥 상장 재도전… SM·JYP와 주식 가치 경쟁

소녀시대, 빅뱅, 2PM 등 국내 대표 아이돌 그룹이 주식시장에서도 한판 대결을 펼친다.

한 차례 상장이 좌절된 YG엔터테인먼트가 코스닥 재도전에 나서면서 ‘기획사 삼국지’가 시장의 관심사로 떠올랐다. YG엔터테인먼트의 시장 진입이 성공하면 2000년 상장한 SM엔터테인먼트, 작년 가수 비의 소속사 제이튠엔터에 우회상장한 JYP엔터테인먼트와 함께 ‘빅3 대결구도’를 갖추게 된다. 이들 기획사를 일군 연예인 출신 대표 이수만, 양현석, 박진영 등의 주식 부자 순위 경쟁도 치열해질 것으로 보인다.

현재 보유 주식 규모나 주가총액을 보면, 소녀시대·슈퍼주니어 등을 키운 SM 이수만 회장이 선두다. SM 지분의 24.74%를 보유한 이 회장의 주식 가치는 796억2000만원에 이른다. SM은 소녀시대가 일본에서 선전하면서 지난해 864억원의 사상 최대 매출에 218억원의 순익을 기록했다.

빅뱅, 2NE1의 소속사인 YG 양현석 대표는 단숨에 2위로 뛰어오를 것으로 전망된다. YG가 제시한 공모 예정가(2만7400~3만3000원)의 평균을 기준으로 한 평가액은 489억원에 달한다. 양 대표는 YG 지분의 47.73%를 보유하고 있는 최대주주다. YG도 일본에서 인기를 얻은 빅뱅의 활약으로 지난해 매출이 전년보다 30% 급증한 448억원을 기록했고, 당기순익도 배가 넘는 98억원을 올렸다.

인기 걸그룹 원더걸스 등을 거느린 JYP의 대주주인 박진영 대표는 보유하고 있는 JYP엔터 주식 가치가 57억4000만원이지만 앞으로 비상장사인 JYP와 JYP엔터가 합병하면 지분가치가 급등할 것으로 전망된다.

Girls' Generation, Big Bang and 2pm are the representative idols who were experiencing a showdown in the domestic market.

YG Entertainment from the 'Big Three' has been trying to get their merits at the KOSDAQ market and is causing a lot of concern. In 2000, YG successfully blossomed in the market along with SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment and has been experiencing a 'big 3 confrontation' eversince. The respective enterprises has been gaining a lot of interest since they're being handled by high-ranking representatives/entertainers such as Lee Suman, Yang Hyun-suk, and Park Jin-young.

Looking at the current total size of stock holdings, SNSD and Super Junior was able to increase the stocks of Lee Suman. SM holds 24.74% of the stock which equates to Lee Suman having 79.62 billion won worth of shares. Girls' Generation who propagandized Japan was able to gain 86.4 billion won last year with net profit of 21.8 billion won which is the largest in the history of sales.

Big Bang and 2NE1 who are the representatives in YG Entertainment are expected to end up in second place. Based on their average reserve price (which is around 27,400 ~ 33,000 won), the sum evaluation reaches a hefty 48.9 billion won. They represent the 47.73% worth of stock that YG was able to gain. Sorry to interrupt, but can you translate the various chart category groups in the accompanying photo?

I'll like to confirm what the chart values mean, if you don't mind.

For example, does the 1st row refer to the respective top 'stable' earner, i.e. SNSD for SM Town & Big Bang for YG Family (as mentioned in the article text)?

If so, who is the JYP Nation equivalent -- 2PM (re: article title)? I would have thought 2AM or missA had bigger hits last year.

The figures are also for 2010, right? Neither YGE or JYPE were listed on the stock exchange yet then, so they have some leeway with creative accounting to maximize tax benefits.
