Who would Park Jin Young choose to give JYP Entertainment to?

On December 20th, singer/producer/CEO Park Jin Young appeared as a guest for KBS’s variety show, ‘Win Win‘. While on the show, he was asked, “If you were to hand over JYP Entertainment to anyone, who would you pick as your successor?”

To this, Park Jin Young replied, “Jo Kwon, Ye Eun!”

His reasoning behind his choice was, “The two have the most interest in the company’s business. Wonder Girls‘ Ye Eun shows the most concern over the company’s important business matters, while 2AM’s Jo Kwon is heavily involved with the company’s staff and artists. He’s always interested in the other teams’ and workers’ schedules, enough for him to be nicknamed “Director Jo.”

Park Jin Young laughed, “Ye Eun and Jo Kwon even talk about naming JYP’s next company as ‘Jo Kwon & Ye Eun Partnership’ amongst themselves.”

He also shared some hilarious details regarding his producer relations with 2PM. ”Seventeen songs that I personally composed were turned down by 2PM during their last album.” He continued, ”Usually, when they get five songs, artists feel bad and use them, but 2PM does not do that. I even started avoiding Taecyeon’s calls.”

“Whenever the 2PM members finish discussing their opinions, it’s always Taecyeon who calls and he always states, ‘Hyung.. the song is really good, but as the title song, it’s a little..’”

Thus, after being rejected by 2PM seventeen times, Park Jin Young truthfully revealed, “Now, I get nervous whenever I get a call from Taecyeon.”

This candid episode of ‘ Win Win’ is set to air on December 21st.

so I guess we will have to wait a bit more ...In one of the articles that qoxie posted the girls said their album will be in three languages (Korean, English and Mandarin)so now I wonder if the girls will promote their other 2 albums especially the Korean one

The first pic YeEun uploaded of her hair wasn't all that great but the new look is really starting to grow on me. Is it because of my YeEun bias?

Badrz_san is a US fan that often bake muffin and send to the girls when they are in NYC, she sent to the girls (?) some stuff to Sun Mi like dried mango, sour patch, dvd ... but seems like Sun Mi didnt receive it

I was thinking the likeliest scenario is the new WG single being in 3 languages again, like 2DT. (Nobody, Tell Me & So Hot were too, although they were not released at the same time).

Not so much the new WG album being in 3 different languages, which is too ambitious to record.

No way WG can simultaneously promote it in 3 geographical regions either.

But that was before Sunye telling the HK press that WG is going back to America for recordings. (She didn't mention it was a new song or MV or whatever.)

Also not sure how many unreleased songs WG have in the vaults. They were traveling around all year.

Except for the 2DT-Nobody Rock versions & the couple of songs Einstein_MCP heard, the girls were not really in the studio that much.

The last time Dave A. Stewart tweeted to ask about 'Always Without Me', Yeeun was rather value in reply, as if they have yet to record it.

(2DT itself appeared to have been recorded while Sunmi was still in the group, with LIM's parts added later.)

My speculation is WG only has the remainder of the earlier "6 English + 6 remakes" songs for now. Factoring out those that went to the 2DT mini-album instead (inc. the Nobody Rainstone Remix English version), there should be only 5 English + 2 remakes left.

A February-March release means the US album will be delayed by a full year -- Sunmi-ah, your decision really set WG back -- with JYPE USA's strategy uniformly pushed from 2010 to 2011.

WG was supposed to tour solo to promote it in 2010, which I think may yet be the plan for 2011 since Jobros' last few tours usually started later in the calendar year (if WG plans to open for them again).

The consolation is WG is now freed up to participate in the New York Fashion Week again (should be in mid-February) They should be in town.

The downside is WG's album won't hit the shelves in time to enjoy the 2011 Seollal/Chinese New Year festivities boom (Feb 3-4).

The venue is the Samsung Medical Center 삼성의료원, a university hospital in Seoul.

JYP artistes have been performing Christmas mini-concerts at their lobby area over the years.

WG was there in 2008; 2AM & 2PM last year. Ditto JYP in 2007, according to the hospital website.

The other Korean accounts I found were by Hottests too. Not that many fanpics (those accessible to lurkers anyway; their message boards need Korean social security numbers to register) as compared to fancams.

Yesterday, Hunan TV & Anhui TV joined Jiangsu TV & Zhejiang TV in claiming WG will perform on their respective New Year concerts!  Wow!

To rehash, JiangsuTV publicized earlier that they signed a contract with JYPE, while Zhejiang TV has close ties with the latter (LIM, JYP Sisters, WG attended their anniversary).

Well, Hunan TV has now uploaded their provisional performers list online.

Number 8 on the order is "SUPERJUNIOR vs. 2PM (songs to be confirmed)"

Number 27 is "SNSD vs. WG or f(x) (to be confirmed with Korea)"

Meanwhile, Anhui WFs posted on Baidu that their TV station was spamming TV trailers about WG's participation yesterday.

But nothing announced online yet. They also have the weakest link with JYPE & WG, but here is the wild card: their show is apparently on Jan 1 (& not Dec 31 like for the other 3 TV stations).

HK's 'Beijing Club' nightclub threw a pre-concert party for WG on December 4.

Thanks for sharing the fancams of the girls performing at Samsung Medical Center! They're so clear *_* And the fangirl who was recording the videos is awesome lmao. She was screaming on top of her lungs! I guess the crowd was quiet because it's... a hospital after all but lol this fangirl is amazing. She even continued with the fanchant after getting some stares from the people in front of her lol ah I love wonderfuls <3

And is it just me or is Sohee looking really happy in the videos? She looked so cute! Yeeun sounds like she has a cold  Oh and the part where Sunye read out the letter... That broke my heart a little. I think the card was addressed to a mother so I could only imagine what she felt like reading that. T_T Sunye~~~
