I'd just like to clarify that I did in fact try and look for Lim's picture, maybe I didn't do a great job about it but I tried and the place I looked at did not have her picture.

Celebrities turn up to support WONDERGIRLS' dance concert

Sohu entertainment news. WONDERGIRLS held their 1st concert in Hong Kong last night. The venue capacity was 80 percent filled. They started dancing once the show started & received a great reception. Hong Kong native LIM stepped forward from time to time to perform, drawing loud shrieks from the fans. The yellow-haired Yeeun also danced enthusiastically. The quintet then embraced one another. Many entertainment personalities had turned up to cheer them on last night. Rosanne & Race Wong [of the Cantopop duo 2R] were invited by friends to sit in the front row. Rosanne Wong, who is 4 months' pregnant, said she wore flat shoes in order to dance & was looking forward to her 1st Korean girlgroup concert.

Taciturn WONDERGIRLS arrives in Hong Kong, Park Yeeeun gives fan service

Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS of 'Nobody' fame in Asia arrived regally in Hong Kong last night. Security personnel at the scene reminded reporters not to swarm around WONDERGIRLS when taking photos. 4 members of the quintet were wearing hats & dark glasses to shield their faces. Only the yellow-haired Park Yeeun was willing to show her true colors.

WONDERGIRLS is staging their Hong Kong concert tonight. Last night, the quintet of Min Sunye, Park Yeeun, Sun Mi [sic], Ahn Sohee & Kim Yoobin arrived in town for preparations. The weather was getting colder & colder, but it did not stop enthusiastic fans from lying in wait. More than 10 fans had turned up to welcome their idols. The scheduled flight was to arrive at 10:30pm, but it was delayed till midnight. About 6-7 expatriate personnel were present to serve as security. They told reporters that WONDERGIRLS did not want to be surrounded by photographers, & called on the press not to swarm around them.

Rehearsing 12 hours daily

The quintet walked out into the Immigration Hall at 12:40am. The fans, who had been painstakingly waiting for hours began, shouting. Some of them managed to rush up & hand over their presents. But 4 of the group members were wearing hats & dark glasses to shield their faces. They also lowered their heads from the cameras, & the security personnel were able to block the reporters' lens. Only Park Yeeun was congenial, waving to the cameras.

The girls have been rehearsing 12 hours a day for this concert. Each & every group member have lost weight, yet looked more comely than ever as they seek to put on the best show for the Hong Kong fans tonight. Their management disclosed that they have choreographed brand new dance steps for the concert, so the fans are in for a surprise.

^ Why in HK concert fans didnt cheer as loud as expected ?

They only cheered at the end, even Omona part was not so loud .... Last time in Shanghai, Chinese fans also didnt cheer loudly ..., it's Chinese style ? Can anyone explain for me ?

HK concert have even more audience than Malay concert, but cheering in Malay concert was so much better ...

WONDERGIRls held a concert, & the live atmosphere was electrifying.

Wen Wei Po news (reporter Zhi Yiyi) Popular Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS held a concert at the AsiaWorld Arena last night. They are popular all over the map with 'Nobody', & Hong Kong had a rare chance to host a concert. Naturally, it attracted many celebrities to turn up in support. [Married Cantopop singers] Louis Cheung & Kay Tse brought along their son. [Girlgroup] 2R's Rosanne & Race Wong were champing at the bit; they even sat in the front row. Rosanne Wong turned up despite being 4 months' pregnant. Asked about the sonic proxmity & its impact on the fetus, Race Wong quipped: "Some experts say live concert music can stimulate an unborn child's brain. Anyway, my pregnant sister needs the outdoor exercise too." Rosanne Wong said she is persevering with swimming exercises in the bitter cold to aid the fetus's health. Besides the celebrities, many fans were also there in support. The show started at 8:45pm. WONDERGIRLS appeared in sleeveless black. 2 songs later, they made their greetings in Cantonese: "I love Hong Kong. We are WONDERGIRLS." The girls also introduced themselves in Cantonese, then sung many of their hits like 'So Hot', "I Wanna' &, of course, 'Nobody'!

Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLs is holding a Hong Kong concert tonight. The quintet arrived in the wee hours last night. They had 12 hours of intensified rehearsals yesterday, so as to get into optimal shape to lead the audience for 'Nobody'.

 

WONDERGIRLS (WG) returned to Hong Kong last night for final preparations for tonight's concert at the AsiaWorld Arena. Affected by flight delays, WG walked out of the restricted area only at 12:30am; they were supposed to arrive at 10:30pm. More than a dozen tired fans were painstakingly waiting for 2 hours. Several security personnel & staff members escorted the WG quintet towards the parking lot.

Their mood was perhaps affected by the flight delays. Sunye was wearing dark glasses & a hoodie. Sohee was wearing a wool hat. They also kept their heads down. Yoobin was wearing sunglasses. Only LIM & Yeeun showed their faces. However, an enthusiastic male fan handed a fan letter to Sunye & she immediately broke into a sweet smile. Yeeun also cordially accepted letters & gifts from fans on the way out. She smiled in return, even relying "Yes!" in English to a question on whether they have prepared for the concert.

Diligently practicing a new dance for the fans

The concert is tonight, & WG had stepped up their rehearsals yesterday to put together the best show possible for the Hong Kong fans. WG's management disclosed that the group members even chipped in extra hours of additional practice, over & above their daily routine. In particular, the dancing expectations are higher since new dance steps have been choreographed to surprise the fans at the concert. The WG quintet already have comely figures; they have been rehearsing almost 12 hours daily to be in even better shape for the Hong Kong fans.

Elusive after deplaning yet active on Twitter, WG slashes ticket prices for their Hong Kong concert

Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS (WG) is holding a concert today at the AsiaWorld Arena. The HKD 880 tickets were made available online for HKD 288 yesterday. The quintet's flight was delayed for 2 hours last night. Before they flew out, group leader Sunye had tweeted for fan support, working hard to plug the concert.

Ticket prices reduced by HKD 600

WG is holding their maiden Hong Kong concert tonight. Yesterday, an online portal began selling HKD 880 tickets at HKD 288 instead. The HKD 600 price difference prompted wide discussion among netizens. Some wondered if it was to lagging ticket sales since the AsiaWorld Arena can accommodate 13,000. Previous Kpop stars like RAIN, SUPERJUNIOR & SS502 were not able to fill the venue. On the contrary, the local fans are generally treating the price reduction positively, since it will attract more younger children to the concert.

The WG quintet of Sunye, Sohee, Yeeun, Yoobin & LIM arrived regally in Hong Kong last night amid plummeting temperatures. Coincidentally enough, previous Kpop idol groups SHINee, FT ISLAND & 4MINUTE had also arrived in in similar bad weather for a 'Hon Lau' [in Cantonese, 'Hanliu' in Mandarin; both are puns on the word 'Hallyu'] invasion of Hong Kong.

Yonhap Seoul, December 15 news. JYP Entertainment announced on December 15 that popular girlgroup WONDERGIRLS is staging a solo concert in Hong Kong on the 17th.

This concert is co-produced by JYP Entertainment & Mnet Media with the purpose of advancing into the Asian market.

WONDERGIRLS said: "We are looking forward to this large-scale concert in Hong Kong. We are going to give the fans a splendid show.

Mnet Media said: "WONDERGIRLS has swept across Asia while topping various music charts with 'Nobody'. In response to the enthusiastic support from many countries, we decided to organize an Asian tour. Thanks to the recent Kpop boom, Hong Kong fans are also looking forward to WONDERGIRLS's concert.

Previously in March to April [sic], WONDERGIRLS was the 1st Korean singer to tour over 20 American cities. In May & June, they also held many showcases in various Asian countries like Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia & China.

From August onwards, the group had toured Taiwan, Thailand & Malaysia to hold concerts there.
