^ Yup.. the last of the Five Guys is indeed actor Yoo Ji Tae. BH specifically mentioned that he admires the younger thespian because of the latter's venture into theater acting & directing especially.

Just take it with a grain of salt as it's a bland translation from my part as I am still a novice when it comes to spicing up LBH description.

Nothing new..., I think it's just a fan comparison on each of the following actor's unique and sophisticated acting style... Park Shin Yang, Lee Sun Gyun, Hyun Bin, LBH & I think the last one is what BSL SL thread or me would say... the sexiest man alive.. YJT

Ah... Love... can simply be expressed in more than 50,000 ways..., from mature to sophisticated etc

Love can also be generated through voices & eyes contact... such expression can easily be spotted in actor LBH and... it's definitely worth emulating

Those pairs of window-of-the-soul aka piercing eyes of his could so easily stir or throb a woman's heart and... that sexy low tone voice of his is just way too poisonous... and no doubt those are great asset to his acting skills.

From his first romancing acting in Bungee Jump... to his dorky inflatuation towards the lady teacher in Harmonium... to his romance in One Fine Summer etc, BH has never failed to capture the true essence of love.

BH is one great example of a very dynamic, confidence & classic actor who is able to transform into any character requires of him.

At times one couldn't really tell which is which, the real LBH or the reel LBH... and that in itself is a great mystery & a piece of art.

Actor LBH never remain stagnant in his performance but keeps pursuing for his best in this acting arena.

This is excellent sharing, Janie. You could always spice it up but never overdo.

Obviously for non-native of Japanese or Korean tongues as we are.. the accurate content is indeed impossible to capture but as long as the essence/gist is not lost.. all is good and always a highly-appreciated sharing.

Here goes.. seems that the much confusing PJH talkshow is being terminated just after 4 months it was introduced last December due to poor rating and unfavourable response. Yes.. no?

What still bugs me (to no end, obviously) is that the media article.. like the previous ones.. kept mentioning BH being one of the guests in the talkshow. What.. where.. when?!????!!

Also.. can someone provide a light on latest BH-IRIS update that came out today.. some new??? CF of Byunghun-ssi to be aired or is it the drama preview promos before the actual airing in September?

Filming set filled with fans for IRIS

한류스타 이병헌이 일본에서 때 아닌 팬들의 응원 공세에 행복한 비명을 지르고 있다.

이병헌 소속사 BH엔터테인먼트는 26일 "일본 아카티현에서 진행 중인 드라마 '아이리스' 촬영장에 매일 수많은 현지팬들이 몰리고 있다"고 전했다. 지난 9일 '아이리스' 촬영을 위해 출국한 이병헌은 아키타 공항을 가득 메운 3000여팬들의 뜨거운 환영을 받았다.

이날부터 '아이리스' 촬영장에는 매일 2500명이 넘는 일본 팬들이 몰리고 있다는 후문. 이병헌을 보기 위해 일본 각 도시에서 몰려온 팬들로 인해 현재 아키타현의 숙박시설이 관광 비수기임에도 불구하고 예약이 밀리고 있다.

소속사 관계자는 "추운 날씨에도 하루종일 이병헌을 보기 위해 팬들이 찾아와 이병헌이 매일 저녁 숙소에 들어가기 전 팬들의 손을 잡아주는 간이 악수회를 열고 있다"고 밝혔다.

아키타현에서 이처럼 팬들이 몰리자 만일의 사태를 대비, 현지 경찰과 경호원을 배치해 드라마 촬영에 협조를 아끼지 않고 있다.

이병헌은 한 달 정도 일본에서 '아이리스' 촬영 일정을 소화할 계획이다. 그는 트란 얀 홍 감독의 'I Come With The Rain'과 '놈놈놈'이 각각 일본에서 6월과 8월에 개봉할 예정이라 한류 열풍을 계속 이어갈 것으로 보인다.

LBH's agency BH Entertainment on the 26th mentioned that IRIS filming is currently progressing in Akita Japan with a high number of local fans gathering at the set everyday. Since the filming started on March 10th, over 2,500 Japanese fans have been flocking the Akita Prefecture to see LBH and the cast of IRIS.

Agency official also adds that, about 300 fans waited all day in the trembling cold weather to see actor Lee Byung Hun whom in the evening would come out to meet them, offering a warm handshake. According to the Akita Accommodation Tourism board, fans are continuously coming each day to Akita despite the hotels' reservation have been fully booked since early March.

The local police and team of security were asked to help maintain the situation so that the filming will not be affected. The Akita authority and residents have been giving their utmost cooperation in order to provide full support to the filming as well as helping to manage the incoming fans.

After about almost a month in Akita, the IRIS Japanese location shoot will soon conclude. But Lee Byung Hun will be back in June when his international debut movie 'I Come With The Rain' premieres in Japan.

On JWS winning..... Congrats! It's nice of him to share the award with his partners in GBW.

Sad tho that Dir. Kim didnt win.

Not to sound bias, but i still feel that the Bad is a more meaty role and that BH acted better than JWS..... altho, i concede that the Weird has the best role and performance.

I also read that the japanese dominated the AFA......but, don't leave us just yet, janie-hunnie..... there's still Iris and am sure BH Ent. will come up with another great project for BH.

Just an aside... OT in short, just want to share that our very own Gina Pareno won the Best Supporting Actress Award in the AFA. She has been receiving best actress and supporting actress awards from different int'l award giving bodies since last year.

Akita shud already bestow BH the honor of being their adopted son for adding revenues to their coffers.

How about a BH statue near the Lake.

I hope BH's store opening wud be a success. Wud love to see BH and Jiwoo together again after some time. Wud BH ask Jiwoo about her latest love? His sister, am sure will be there.

As this will be the last IRIS weekend in Akita.. there'll definitely be a whole lot of fans visiting the filming site and to see Byunghun-ssi. Seems like a breeze, huh.. 3 weeks of location filming almost coming to an end. Obviously the production security could not have been more tight, in tiptop secrecy. But hopefully, everything has been going on smoothly and as the scheduled plan.

In 5 days' time, we will see our Hunnie again.. at the 9th Avenue Kaori-LBH Star Shop launch. What a treat to look forward to. :blush:

Yeah.. it was a taped acceptance speech as he wasn't there to receive it personally. If I'm not mistaken, it was around the 10th of March or thereabouts, event held by a tv? station in Tokyo. Obviously he wasn't quite able to be there himself.

Filming IRIS this time around certainly has Byunghun-ssi's full focus and undivided attention. Due to the high budget and stricter/time-pressed filming schedule, he didn't leave the site for AFA or any other event. Instead.. he either skipped the awards altogether or re-schedule as in the 9th Avenue Star Shop launch. And of course, main reason being.. his upcoming movie promos had been cleared way ahead of time not to clash with IRIS' filming.

Read that Byunghun-ssi has finished his IRIS filming and already left Akita for Seoul today (28 March) at about 1300 hrs. Just short of 2 days of the planned 3-week filming schedule in Japan.. he's probably? the first to leave. Not sure if the other cast of IRIS & production team were with him as well.

Lee Byung Hun and IRIS return to Seoul after successfully completing the drama filming in Akita, Japan. Hundreds of fans came to the airport to send them off.

The actor never stopped waving to the fans even through the window from inside the airport building, much to everyone's delight.

There have been devoted fans who came from Osaka and Yamaguchi whom had made 3 round trips back to Akita. The fans have thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs of Akita and would definitely return to visit.

To the IRIS team and the fans.. please remember us in Akita.
