26 Dec – Hong Kong's rising star Him Law recently denied rumours saying that he has renewed his contract with Filmko Pictures and received a lucrative deal with "The Monkey King 2" production.

According to Oriental Daily News, the tabloids previously reported that the management company has offered Him a nine-year extension, and that he was being paid HKD 3 million (approximately USD 386,611) for his role as Sand Monk in the second instalment of the hit Lunar New Year film.

However, the actor, who attended the press conference of the upcoming film, "The Monkey King 2", in Wuxi recently, denied extending his contract with the company or even signing on to a new contract.

In regard to the hefty salary for the movie, Him only replied, "I am happy with the rate given."
