I don't know about Rain as much as you do , but I know about myself that very hard fell for someone but amazingly I did for Rain at the first sight!

Just think how he seems more and more captivating and charismatic day by day, and well no wondering if more growing of his glory spreads farther away around. So it's completely predictable  such success in rating of Diamond lover! He could have proved to deserve the epithet of the "King"  literally!

The lover of 33-year-old actress Kim Tae-hee is currently garnering popularity across China with his latest Chinese TV drama “Diamond Lovers,” which has become a smash success. In the show, the actor plays Xiao Liang, chief of the world’s largest diamond company, who falls for a woman who has her life completely turned around after having plastic surgery.

Meanwhile, Rain has been taking China’s small screen by storm in a drama that has consistently been placing in the top two spots in viewer ratings. Earlier in July, he was reported to be gearing up for a music comeback in October, but Rain’s management agency Cube Entertainment denied the reports.

Hi azuvilla, thanks for sharing this. IDK why Cube was denying this that he's going to release a new album this year. But, I really hope it would push-through. During the recent FM with Japanese Clouds he mentioned that he's going to have a concert tours this year, from October-November. He also mentioned that he's going to do a movie. Rain May Become Free Agent as His Contract With Cube Entertainment Nears Its End

 

 

Singer and actor Rain is almost at the end of his contract with Cube Entertainment.

According to industry insiders, Rain’s 2-year contract with Cube Entertainment will terminate at the end of this month. It has been reported that he is currently discussing his prospects with his acquaintances regarding what he will do next. He may decide to renew his contract with Cube, or he may become a free agent without a contract.

An acquaintance of Rain told Star News, “I’m under the impression that he has talked to the company CEO multiple times regarding a renewal of contract. But nothing has been decided. He will most likely make a decision pretty soon, since he doesn’t have much time left.”

After being discharged from his mandatory military service, Rain signed with Cube Entertainment in September of 2013. He had a comeback with his sixth album “Rain Effect” under Cube. He also had a comeback as an actor in November of last year with “She’s So Lovable.”

The popular entertainer has maintained a close relationship with Cube’s CEO Hong Seung Sung, who worked with him since his JYP Entertainment days.

Cube Entertainment told several media outlets, "It's true that Rain's exclusive contract will soon expire. But we have not decided on our course of action yet."

They added, "We are currently in talks with Rain about renewing his contract. Right now, we haven't specifically talked about whether he will renew his contract or go with a different agency."

With word going around about Rain's contract expiring, rumors sprouted up suggesting that Rain was not resigning with the agency due to an upcoming marriage coming up with his girlfriend Kim Tae Hee. When asked to address this, the agency remarked, "We haven't heard of anything [regarding that]."

Rain signed his contract with Cube Entertainment back in September 2013, and one of the reasons was because he had a personal connection with the company's CEO Hong Seung Sung.

On the September 2 episode of “One Night TV Entertainment,” one part of the show dug into stars’ behind-the-scenes happenings during commercial shoots.

Advertisement manager and TV personality Oh Kyung Soo revealed, “There are many cases of double casting in the advertisement industry nowadays.”

He continued, “We also called Rain and Kim Tae Hee for a double casting, and the two were very shy when they first met. It made the place feel like they were on a blind date rather than a commercial shoot.”

Rain considering a new talent agency

K-pop singer and actor Rain is mulling whether to renew his contract with his current talent agency, Cube Entertainment.

The 33-year-old’s contract will soon expire, and the entertainment company told Korean media outlet Ilgan Sports, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, on Thursday that “CEO Hong Seung-sung and Rain are currently discussing renewing the celebrity’s contract.”

“The decision has not yet been made, but once it is decided, the news will be announced to the fans.”

Rain signed the exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment in September 2013. Hong was the one who saw potential in Rain and cast him while he was working as co-CEO of JYP Entertainment.

Thus, “Rain’s contract with the company was formed based on loyalty instead of the contract itself,” according to a company associate.

The Korean Wave star debuted as a member of the boy group Fanclub in 1998. The group did not garner much attention, and Rain began his solo career in 2002. A few of mega-hits are “La Song,” “I Do” and “Rainisim.”

The celebrity also extended his career to acting in 2003 with the KBS drama series “Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School.” His acting expanded to Hollywood in such movies as “The Prince” (2014) and “Ninja Assassin” (2009). The entertainer is also actively participating in various Chinese drama series.

Singer and actor Rain’s new path draws attention as the exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment is about to end.
CUBE Entertainment announced on September 3rd, “Rain’s exclusive contract is about to end in this month. We are talking through making the contract again and more. We will announce more if there’s clearer image of his further path.”
Since September, 2013 Rain made an exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment. Rain has good friendship and trust with CUBE Entertainment’s Hong Seung-Seong.
