Pop stars Rain and Hangeng were feted at the People of the Year Award 2013 by BAZAAR Men’s Style held in Beijing, China.

Rain received the Asia All-Around Entertainer Award at the ceremony as part of the Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week Celebration Party.

“Thank you for inviting me. It’s my honor. I’m so happy to be here. I love Beijing. I love China,” said Rain when he accepted the award on stage.

At the ceremony, Rain performed his songs “Hip Song” and “I Do.”

Rain has made a comeback on the entertainment scene after he was discharged from the army last July.

In August, Rain went to Thailand for the Sonic Bang music festival where he performed. He is set to his concert tour in Japan this month.

Hangeng was honored with the Absolute Star Attraction award. He received the award from Harper’s BAZAAR Executive Publisher Su Mang on the red carpet and was unable to attend the ceremony as he had to catch a flight.

“Tonight, I’m very sorry for leaving the BAZAAR Men awards ceremony early as I have to catch a flight. This (award) gives me more encouragement and confidence. I wish Bazaar Men 2013 People of the Year awards ceremony success,” Hangeng posted on his Weibo account.

The annual People of the Year Award honors China’s personalities in different fields.

Hangeng has been cast in the “Transformers: Age of Extinction” movie, the fourth installment of the “Transformers” franchise.

Director Michael Bay is in China to shoot scenes for the movie and Hangeng had visited the set and met him.
