Rain’s latest CF for CJ Cheiljedang’s red pepper paste brand, ‘Haechandle’, released a hilarious ‘dating’ rumor about Rain and Shin Bong Sun.

In the CF, Rain is found working out while watching the entertainment news. He stops midway when he hears an absurd report about Shin Bong Sun and himself. Afterwards, he blissfully eats a spicy bowl of bibimbap to relieve himself from the bitterness of life.

Meanwhile, three years ago on a variety program, Rain laid out the basics for the dating rumors when he said, “I like Shin Bong Sun. I get nervous everytime I see her“. The comment came after watching her perform her rendition of his “Rainism” dance.

Hi anjjo, thanks for sharing this info. Oh, not coming from Shanghai where he'll have his concert before this but Guangzhu? I think the distance between these 2-places is quite far (?) Because Shanghai is near China while Guangzhu is near HK. (anyone here could correct me in case I'm wrong.....) Wondering why he's coming from Guangzhu, huh or might be there's no flight from Shanghai to HK?

And it is actually not understandable why not allowing questions about his MS. For goodness sake, he will leave sooner than later and at one point he has to and he should also know his date of departure, so what is the big deal? They aren't asking him if he is dating, if he wants to get married.

It's known that he is taking legal steps to claim the rest of his talent fee. But you can’t blame RAIN for doing this. He has waited for quite a while if — things would get better. I heard RAIN isn’t the only one who hasn’t been paid; other supporting cast members and crew are also waiting for their unpaid wages. It's just so lucky that RAIN have received some pay, though the rest is still outstanding like what I heard in the case of LNY. The film’s story is related to the original Red Muffler , directed by the legendary Korean director SHIN Sang-ok in 1964. The original film used the Korean War as its background, dealing with the passion and the love of F-86 Saver jet fighter pilots, and bringing in the most audiences in Seoul at the time and won countless domestic film awards in the process. The new version of Red Muffler reflects the changes in time and deals with the pilots of the new F-15K fighters, yet it still brings the nostalgia from 47 years ago.

This is Korea’s first-ever ‘aerial action blockbuster,’ co-produced and exclusively distributed by CJ E&M Film Business Division. Director KIM Dong-won, whose previous works include My Boss, My Teacher (2006), and City of Damnation (2009) proclaimed of displaying brilliant and detailed visuals, combining them with love and friendship of young couple, as well as aerial action scenes full of liveliness and realistic stunts. The leading character is Tae-hoon, an Air Force captain who’s a member of ‘Black Eagle,’ Korea’s elite air force. He is transferred to combat force with F-15K and creates conflict on his first day with Cheon-hee, a top gun at F-15K squad who’s also a deep believer in principle, and is disciplined. In midst of such, an aerial situation with North Korea promptly takes place as Tae-hoon and his colleagues board on the jet fighters and take off without the guarantee of returning safely.

The film features an impressive cast, including YOO Joonsang of Moss fame playing Cheol-hee and solid supporting casts including JO Sung-ah (Yellow Sea ), OH Dal-soo (Detective K: Secret of Virtuous Affair ) among others. What’s more, unlike the original Red Muffler with female leads playing bartenders at a nearby Air Force Camp bar, the new version features two of the ‘blue chip’ actresses in Korea today, SHIN Sae-kyung (Blue Salt ) and LEE Hana (Fair Love ) both playing talented Air Force serviceperson, making the film even more interesting.

As the South Korean artist gears up for a two-year break from the entertainment industry, his fans are confident he'll emerge from military service stronger

In nine years, Rain has gone from an unknown backup dancer to one of Asia's hottest stars. The South Korean actor-singer also has two Hollywood movies to his credit.

But his thriving entertainment career must be put on hold later this year when he reports for two years of mandatory military duty. It's a topic the 28-year-old performer doesn't want to discuss.

In the southern Chinese gambling enclave Macau for the latest stop of what is likely his final Asian tour before military service, Rain made sure the media couldn't ask him about his imminent break from the entertainment industry.

At a news conference — delayed by 2 1/2 hours — before his concert at the Venetian Macao casino-hotel late on Saturday, organisers banned questions that were not preapproved by Rain's managers. Instead of discussing how the break would affect his entertainment career, Rain spoke about Macau and fan reaction around Asia.

He talked about his new movie, Living in the Sky, in which he plays a pilot, and said he wanted to make more action films and take on romantic roles in TV dramas.

Few details of his military duty have been disclosed, but he told South Korean media last month that it would start at the end of this year.

All able-bodied South Korean men must join the military for about two years of service sometime between the ages of 18 and 35.

Crossing over

In his short career, Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has released five Korean albums and a Japanese record and launched a film and TV career. He has also crossed over to America, appearing in a "dance-off" against comedian Stephen Colbert and starring in the Hollywood action thrillers Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin.

But Rain thinks his entertainment future lies in Asia. "Now, America is no longer dominant. Now many Asian movies and songs are very popular. The two regions have the same status now," he said.

Rain's fans are confident their idol will emerge from the two-year break unscathed. Several dozen die-hard fans were camped out outside the concert venue six hours before show time.

"He is a very hard-working person. Serving in the military will improve his determination. It will make him more manly and more mature. His career might take a different direction after his military service, but I think he will keep getting better and better," said 21-year-old university student Zhao Wenwei.

"All his fans think that if he is gone for two years, we will not forget him. We will remember him by watching his movies and other past works," said the Shanghai resident, who shelled out $255 (Dh936) for her ticket.

"The two years of military service will help build his endurance," said Ivy Tang, an 18-year-old university student from the southern Chinese city Guangzhou who travelled to Macau with about 60 fellow members of a Rain discussion group on the Chinese search engine Baidu.

If I am not mistaken (and from the fan accounts), Rain was shopping, sightseeing and sitting in a café before the concert (after the concert it was already night and according to a fan he left very early in the morning the next day). I love how Rain after the concert in Dresden and Singapore stops, shakes hands and gives autographs. And in Singapore, he even opened the window of his car, put off his glasses and waved to his fans. Rain is out to prove that no matter where he goes, he’s always dressed like a top star. leopard-print shirt is quite a fashion statement!

Posting pictures onto his Twitter on May 21st, fans got to see the world star wearing a bold leopard-print shirt while roaming the streets of Germany.

While his style is fairly casual, he still managed to make some fangirl’s heart race by leaving the top part of his shirt unbuttoned.

In a separate tweet, Rain wrote, “After successfully finishing my concert in Germany, I am picking a meal from the menu. To celebrate, I ordered a cocktail ice cream. I almost died eating it. Hooni (Jung Ji Hoon) is in a great mood”. And with that, he uploaded a hilarious picture with both his arms and legs spread wide apart.
