Yep, I agree Rain has been always a trendsetter. I checked the brand as well and it's Italian apparently.

I really like this global-thinking that's not only a Korean, but an Asian project. I hope it will be a huge success around Asia.

I was scared of this: to have several names in English for this drama. What is now official? The Fugitive, S1. Plan B, The Fugitive: Plan B???

Wow! Rain looks so great in this picture. No idea what this pic is (drama, CF or private moment with his gf ) but his outfit, his hair and that warm smile - is just perfect! Imagine having a date with this gorgeous man, sitting like this in front of him and seeing that beautiful smile... nobody can resist this charm!

어제는..너무나 멋있는 하루였습니다..^^

The episode we tired to post yesterday, is finally on the homepage due to problems with our internet..ㅠㅠ

We were having a wonderful day yesterday..^^

'Ji Hoon' hyung (Rain), his motorcycle, and his leather jacket. Wow ~^^ ㅋㅋ

The combination of the three gave him a fantastic mood.

While a wide variety of genres, from comedy to action and melodrama, were shown by 'Jung Jin' hyung and other actors, whose characters in the drama are detectives, we had a wonderful day yesterday !!

Both of the two are very wonderful actors with a great deal of charm.

HanYeJo reveals list of broadcast companies and dramas with non-payments, refuses to film as of September 1st

The Korean Broadcast, Movie, Performance, and Artists Labor Union (HanYeJo) has declared that they will be refusing to film anything as of September 1st, on account of broadcast companies failing to fulfill payments.

According to reports revealed by HanYeJo (Labor Union), the drama with the most amount of payments yet to be fulfilled is MBC’s Return of Iljimae, broadcast last year with a total of 556,000,000 WON or about $466,834 in non-payments.

The second drama is SBS’s Coffee House, with a total of 550,000,000 WON or about $461,797 in overdue wage payments. MBC’s 2009 Foreigner Club has 530,000,000 WON or about $445,004, KBS 2TV’s The Nation’s Call with a total of 490,000,000 WON or about $411,419, and lastly, MBC’s Lawyers of Korea, with a total of 400,000,000 WON or about $335,852 has been reported by HanYeJo as non-payments.

In essence, MBC > SBS > KBS ranks in the most amount of non-payments with MBC at 2,160,205,182 WON ($1,813,779), SBS at 1,154,420,051 WON ($969,286), and KBS at 1,054,171,512 WON ($885,113).

Out of the MBC dramas, Pasta, Making A Lover, 2009 Foreigner Club, Return of Iljimae, Lawyers of Korea, and The Man Called God are ranked as the dramas with the most non-payments. KBS has The World They Live In, The Nation’s Call, The Return of the Princess and SBS has On Air, Swallow the Sun, Coffee House, and Green Carriage under the category.

Representatives of HanYeJo have stated that the total amount of non-payments amounts to $3,694,376 or about 4,400,000,000 WON as of the end of August.

“For the past two years, we have demanded the payments from the production and broadcast companies but we have been met with no progress.”

Out of the $3,694,376.40, MBC owes $1,847,188.20 in premiums.

“It’s crucial to us that MBC makes their payment immediately. They have the most in non-payments compared to the other two companies.”

KBS 2TV’s Baker King Kim Takgu, SBS’s Giant, and MBC’s Gloria and Kim Suro are expected to be affected by this declaration from HanYeJo as well.

Due to conflicts and unresolved issues of wage and benefits the entire Korea's Broadcasting Union comprised of staffs, actors, singers, and artists announced late on Sunday that they will strike indefinitely - until the issues are resolved and an agreement can be made. This means that shows such as KBS 2TV’s popular soap opera “Baker King, Kim Tak-gu,” SBS’ “Giant,” “I Am Legend,” and MBC’s “Gloria,” and “Kim Su-ro" will be put on hold for weeks if not months depending on how quickly the issue can be resolved according to a recent presss release. Additionally it states that:

“Though some shows don’t have payment issues, the possibility of cases like this occurring in the future is very likely. Unless the companies come up with systematic regulations we can agree on, we will continue our boycotts,” said the press release.

The associate contests that broadcasters have failed to pay an estimated 4,368 million won in wages to the actors, singers, comedians and others as of July 31. A statement by the chairman, Kim Eung-suk, states "Though we’ve tried our best to solve payment problems during the last two years, it was of no avail. Rather, companies and subcontractors have taken advantage of us instead."

The association is not ruling out the possibility of resolution and have stated that they are open and willing to negotation. However this will take time and in the meantime, viewers will be without the top dramas in the weeks to come.

Hi Kicia, thanks for sharing these video clips. Between the issue of height & ETRO, I find the height more ridiculous since during the time almost all news about it were floating around the net. Almost all Clouds all around were reacting angrily since they accused RAIN of lying even his height, isn't this very funny? But, I love the words you posted here about this brand. bbly, in this drama, most have special effects....... it has lots of motorbike & car chasing scenes especially those to be filmed in the Philippines. This is the reason why RAIN mentioned that Phil. scenes are very important in the drama.

Hi anjjo, thanks for sharing this video clip. Upon watching the clip it looks like an indoor filming, just in the balcony (?) - RAIN seems to be perspiring so much, airconditioning wasn't enough or it was really hot temperature during filming. But I'm green with envy to his girl assistant, how I wish I were in her place - fanning him, wiping sweats from his face & back. Wahhh.......I'm dreaming once again, dear.

This means that shows such as KBS 2TV’s popular soap opera “Baker King, Kim Tak-gu,” SBS’ “Giant,” “I Am Legend,” and MBC’s “Gloria,” and “Kim Su-ro" will be put on hold for weeks if not months depending on how quickly the issue can be resolved according to a recent presss release. Additionally it states that:

“Though some shows don’t have payment issues, the possibility of cases like this occurring in the future is very likely. Unless the companies come up with systematic regulations we can agree on, we will continue our boycotts,” said the press release.

The associate contests that broadcasters have failed to pay an estimated 4,368 million won in wages to the actors, singers, comedians and others as of July 31. A statement by the chairman, Kim Eung-suk, states "Though we’ve tried our best to solve payment problems during the last two years, it was of no avail. Rather, companies and subcontractors have taken advantage of us instead."

The association is not ruling out the possibility of resolution and have stated that they are open and willing to negotation. However this will take time and in the meantime, viewers will be without the top dramas in the weeks to come.

anjjo, thanks for sharing this articles. Gosh, there’s a lot who are unpaid & this is a huge amount of money they owe. It’s really very common that debt exists especially in the entertainment industries. And it also mean as well that some stars are not yet paid yet for these dramas mentioned? These are some cool dramas & more are coming to air soon, it really sucks if these were to be affected. In case these dramas will stop airing viewers watching those shows are gonna be disappointed. Like you, I hope that his drama won't be affected by this. I'm sure that he's being paid very well - hehehe.
