On August 24th, a production report conference of KBS 2TV's upcoming drama Runaway (Fugitive) that Rain'll make his comeback on, was held in Macau.

With PD 'Kowak Jung-Howan', Rain, Lee Na-Young, Daniel Henney, Lee Jung-Jin, Yun Jin-Seo, etc. in attendance, more than 60 reporters from 40 news organizations swarmed the conference.

PD 'Kowak Jung-Howan' said, "I think Macau called as Las Vegas in the East, is a pretty attractive place." "I've been enjoying filming a lot."

It was Rain himself who received most attention at the day's press conference for around one hour.

One person from Runaway officials said, "Every reporter was pleasantly surprised to find that he or she was able to meet directly with Rain to carry coverage. I felt great pride when the place was swarming with reporters trying to cover Korean stars, all in a great frenzy to get the story."

Continuing, "Before the drama begins, a lot of Asian countries such as Japan, China and so on have expressed interest in our drama, asking on what's going on. I think the reason for this is because Rain who is gaining wide-spread popularity, stars in the drama."

He added, "We are too concerned with filming the drama to spend time doing other things, but we came to hold a press conference to meet the firm requests from Chinese speaking reporters who can't just let Rain visiting Macau after a long absence, get away."

100825 Cast, director of "Domangja s1" holds press conf in Macau

The cast and director of upcoming KBS TV series "Domangja s1" held a press conference in Macau yesterday, according to a press release by the show's producer on Wednesday.

Famed TV producer Kwak Jung-hwan, Korean stars Rain, Lee Na-young, Daniel Henney, Lee Jung-jin and Yoon Jin-seo attended the press conference, where they spoke to 60 journalists from 40 different local media outlets.

"Domangja s1" is helmed by noted director Kwak and written by Chun Sung-il, the creative duo behind the 2010 hit TV series "The Slave Hunters."

The drama, about a hefty sum of money popping up sixty years after it disappeared during the Korean War, features other high-profile cast members including Yoon Son-ha, Kong Hyun-jin and international actors Takenaka Naoto, Uehara Takako and Eric Tsang.

Filming for the show has taken place in various Asian cities such as Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama. The cast and crew will be in the Philippines for the next shoot.

"Domangja s1" will premiere after current baking drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" ends its run in late-September.

Hi bbly, About his MS, I was told that he's talking about this to his drama team. He said that he has so many things in mind, which he wants to do, like do another movie, make another album & do another concert for his fans but because of this enlistment he has to think twice. This prevents him from doing these things. Even RAIN doesn't know yet whether his request for deferment will be granted. About the Macau presscon, like you, I'm also expecting for more. He only mentioned about filming in the Philippines but he didn't even say a word for his concert. Maybe, this is because it's his drama's presscon (?) About the video clip & photos, nice & cool! Just wondering what did he say to both LJJ & LNY why they laughed, huh? So curious.....

If Rain thinks and talks like that, than I guess he is as clueless as us about his future, meaning all depending on the MS. But why hasn't there been an answer until now? Is it normal to wait this long? Whatever it is, I hope it's for the best. I am sure that Rain wants to do a lot of things before leaving (hoping he doesn't exaggerate).

I watched the clips to the press conf and I just have a good feeling about this drama, it will be a hit.

1. Rain is in an amazing high spirit and good mood. He looks relaxed and confident. He made several times jokes and made the people around him laugh, especially LNY.

2. LNY is just adorable! I love her warm smile and the interaction between her and Rain. She laughed so often about Rain's remarks (not only her, but the other crew too).

3. There seems a very wonderful and warm friendship among the actors (especially Rain and LJJ), you just feel if the way they behave with each other and just have fun. You see, they enjoy each other's company!

I can't wait for the drama to be aired and being a huge hit!

Hi bbly, About the suit during the presscon, at first, when I saw the coat I thought all along it's a "stain" - sorry for my ignorance sometimes - but when I saw the pix of a full-shot there's also something like that in his pants. That's what I concluded it's a design - hehehe. Ye, it's interesting but quite weird at the same time because one design is located in the "fly" - hahaha. About the English name, I asked one of our staffs here directly involved in the filming here, she said it maybe stands for 'season" but she's not sure. I jokingly told her to ask the meaning of the S1..... About the Director sleeping, that's RAIN. He's sometimes like a kid - so playful & naughty. About the photo I posted yesterday, I love that but also green with envy to that production staff. She's so close to him that he even put his arms around her - how I wish that's me! hehehe.
