I really enjoyed the questions during the press conference. There were good and Rain gave intelligent and interesting answers. He has so much knowledge and I could listen to him the whole day.

@Kicia: Hahahahaa! Yes, chicken breast. But I guess he was on some kind of diet again: Chicken breast, salad and water! Doesn’t sound like Rain at all. BTW, I have always loved Rain with longer hair and I was always in the minority for loving his beautiful long hair (even though himself he didn’t like it that much).

Wow! If I had the money, I would buy all those 6To5-Ninja items. That is really smart and a good marketing strategy. Every fan who can get an item, should wear it when watching NA.

Today is the day of fantastic Rain interviews! Rain is soooo smart, so honest, so modest. I am not thrilled that he signed for 2 or 3 movies with the same production team, meaning that we might have a NA sequel (very dangerous in my opinion!) and that I can wait for my drama a very long time. Rain is such a gifted actor, I really hope he doesn’t end up doing the same roles. And regarding dancer singers, that they have an age limit, it’s true, but he is still young and he can still continue to sing, to produce, to design (and dance until he is 50 years hihihihi).

I liked especially those remarks by Rain:

Not knowing something is not a crime.

But my English still sounds like nonsense. (he is just too cute!)

Regarding Rain’s different suits:

The grey suit was on November 9, the blue suit and the one outfit with the grey jacket, black pants and white sneakers was November 10. Then what about the pic with the fan in the white dress where he wears another grey suit? When was that?

I wish Rain a safe trip and that he arrives healthy in the US!

Ninja Assassin star Rain trained for eight months to achieve zero body fat

The Korean superstar Rain revealed his grueling training regime that lasted eight whole months to maintain his body fat level at zero

At the first press conference held in Seoul for Rain’s second Hollywood film, Ninja Assassin, the Korean superstar revealed how he suffered and went through several hardships during the past eight months.

During the eight months, he underwent six hours of wushu training daily to maintain his body fat level at zero. Nine out of 10 stunts shown in the movie were done by the actor himself.

“I was once injured, but those are glorious scars and injuries,” said Rain who also shared that he watched a couple of Bruce Lee movies as a reference for his role in Ninja Assassin.

Although he once had thoughts of giving up when filming got tougher, he said, “I once promised my fans that I will shoot a movie that will be acclaimed all over by critics. Secondly, it is due to pride. When I tirelessly lifted up a 100 kg dumbbell, workers who once taught Brad Pitt and Matt Damon agitated me by saying this ‘They are more persistent than you’. That sentence really ignited my fighting spirit. Thirdly, I want to show my results towards the media who defamed and looked down on me.”

He also found inner strength in his late mother’s memory. Speaking of his deceased mother, the 27-year-old poignantly said, “When my mother was alive, she would wake up at 5am and head to work, working till nightfall. When she reached home at 12am, she still has to do the household chores. When I think about all these, I know that I have to bear with it no matter how tough it gets.”

Ninja Assassin will make its premiere in Singapore on Nov 26.
