Gummy & Bobby Kim unveils “Love Recipe” MV

Bobby Kim and Gummy, the two hottest artists for Korean soul music, have come together for a collaboration track, “Love Recipe,” which was released on November 23rd.

The two shared that they had often talked of wanting to work together, and were finally able to collaborate for this simple R&B song with a unique piano riff and groovy rhythm. Their powerful vocals also fit well with the song’s main lyric, which croons, “Love can sometimes be foolish and corny, but it’s important to be truthful when in love.”

YG Entertainment revealed, “Both of them always loved each others’ music and often talked about wanting to collaborate. An opportunity finally came up for them through ‘Love Recipe.’”

The music video for “Love Recipe” also showcases Gong Yoo and Im Su Jung’s latest movie, “Finding Kim Jong Wook.”

Bobby Kim, Gummy and Wheesung will also be opening a concert titled “The Vocalist” for December 30th and 31st. The concert last year managed to gather 30,000 music fans, and showed its potential as a brand.

OH! So, it shaved/cut short, sort of an undercut. I thought it was just dyed in a lighter color. I never pegged Gummy as someone who would get outrageous haircuts. I wonder what's up with YG artists these days, a lot of them are had drastic (some subtle) hairstyle changes this past few weeks.

Congrats to Gummy on her win! Has she ever released a live album btw? If not, she definitely should or YG should consider it! I love the strip down versions of her songs, and sometimes it sounds even better than the originals. For example, As A Man at the Melon Awards, the first 2:35 minutes were literally heaven... Loved it!

Bobby Kim confesses he has feelings for Gummy!

Singer Bobby Kim recently confessed for the first time that he’s developed romantic feelings for Gummy.

The two singers attended the press conference for their year-end concert, “The Vocalist“, and Bobby Kim revealed his feelings during that time. ”I never thought of Gummy as a woman before. After singing together, I began seeing her as one,” he said.

Gummy mused, “Bobby Kim oppa once told me that he called to ask if I wanted to have a drink. I apparently didn’t answer, and he stopped calling after that. I guess it’s a feeling that can only be shared between people of the same profession. We are definitely feeling the charms of one another while we sing.”

Gummy releases “I Want to Wait” MV for “Midas” OST

The music video for Gummy’s track “I Want To Wait” for SBS’s “Midas” has been released, compiled with clips from the drama. The soundtrack has been climbing the charts, standing its ground amongst Big Bang’s new songs.

“Midas” tells a story about intertwining ambitions, and how they have a big impact on people’s personal lives. Jang Hyuk, Lee Min Jung, and Kim Hee Ae play the main characters of the drama. It has replaced “Athena: the Goddess of War” as the new Mon-Tues drama for SBS.
