One more month to go, and Skip Beat airs. I hope it's going to be a good drama. I'm counting on Donghae's performance -he was the best out of the three of them in the trailer- to entertain me, and of course on the script. Maybe Ivy and Siwon will surprise me in a good way later on, cause right now I'm not too impressed by their way of acting...

I'm not impressed by the posters either. They lack good editing skills and the colors are a mess...Siwon expressions look fake, and I'm afraid nothing from his pose or smile transmits I'm the mighty Ren Tsuruga. Fail. Ivy and Donghae are doing a decent job in looking the part, but nothing special about them.

So the show went ahead and called itself "Skip Beat" instead of "Extravagant Challenge" per English title? The poster lacks SB aura, honestly, only the chicken suit resembles anything relevant to SB. The trailer's cinematography looks awesome yet the production can't afford a decent photographer and professional PS-editor? What a shame. I just can't see Ren nor Sho on those posters, and I'm trying hard being unbias as possible about Kyoko with "that" hair.

Ugh, Ivy's page hairstyle bothers me too. Apart from the pink LM jumpsuit nothing on her outer appearance screams that she's playing Kyoko....But I'll try not to be nitpicky and settle with what is thrown at us. <.<

I start my rant here:

Do people REALLY expect to hear Siwon and Donghae in their original voices? I really don't get it. This a Taiwanese drama. They speak Mandarin. Siwon and Donghae portray Mandarin-speaking characters. Therefore, they will be dubbed because they recited most of their dialogue in Korean. Not only will it be bothersome if we hear their real voices (especially for non-SJ fans, who really don't give a crap about their "real" voices), but also unprofessional, because that means the producers and editors really don't care about the consistency of their characters. And what makes me shake my head even more is that many CHINESE fans are saying that they're disappointed with the dubbing. You guys of all people should know that Mainland China LOVES dubbing their actors in television dramas, regardless if they spoke fluent Mandarin or not. Not only is it consistent by keeping the whole cast speaking in the same accent, but also much cheaper.

Also, I doubt an "undubbed" version will ever released, unless an unfinished copy of the edit was leaked.

That trailer that was released a few months back were for promotional purposes - it was to attract foreign distributors. It wasn't the finished product.
