a 35mm manual camera is a single-lens reflex film camera that operates manually. try bhphotovideo.com, keh.com, craigslist.com, old camera shops, thrift stores, pawn shops, etc.

examples: the k1000 mentioned above, nikon fm10, nikon f, minolta srt-101, etcetera.

you don't want to get an autofocus camera like a nikon f4, n70, n65 etc.

Best bet is to look for a cheap used one from eBay. I recently got a Contax 167MT from eBay but no lenses until Wednesday :(
