2) towards the nearest mall/department store

3) and buy pepper spray/baseball bat/something

4) call 'escort service' and haul it to somewhere safe

i usually take my cell phone out of my bag and put it in my pocket (just in case it can be used to call for help or do some beating xD) .. then walk straight ahead with purpose,

and if i know the area i would speedwalk and make sudden turns..

i personally wouldn't run cause if the stranger is really some creeper they would probably just start chasing me and eventually catch me... because to be perfectly honest i'm not that fast ><

Omg, that happened to me at a school basketball game once

I was standing outside in the rain waiting for my friend to pick me up (I didnt have a car atm)

This guy started walking toward me, so I ran back inside where the game was... I got all muddy and wet but oh wells.

I called my sister and walked so fast till I reached a crowded area..

let him fallow me deep into my turf and let him try somthin first, if he is really fallowing me then it will be hte last thing he does

it takes a real idiot to fallow someone, they will just lead you to a place where its gonna be 100 vs 1. thats why ppl who jump other ppl usualy have a set area or set of areas that they hunt on.
