What Do You Say When People Call You Goodlooking/pretty?

I always just say Thanks. I mean, what else am I supposed to say.

Example of what I wouldn't do.

Random: You goodlooking.

Me: No, im actually a hideous beast, you must have seen wrong? *Awkwardness*

What I would do.

Random: Your goodlooking.

Me: Thanks *goes back to what I was doing*

lol i just say "Thanks" and give them a small, usually awkward smile.

and then there's silence. still a bit awkward. haha

i react better to compliments about something specific, such as "you have a great smile" or "your hair is so pretty". all encompassing comments like "you're hot" or "you're pretty" are just kind of weird, IMO...

I agree, don't disagree with them. They're giving you a compliment, so thank them by taking it!

I give a shy smile (even though I'm not shy >_<) and thank them sweetly. If I don't act a tiny bit embarrassed, I feel like I'm being conceited.

To an obnoxious stranger in a place other than a bar/club - *ignore* and cont. walking away

To a stranger in a bar/club - *smile* "thank you" & make conversation.

To friends, friends of friends, etc... - "thanks, you're looking ____ yourself!"

I usually just say thanks and smile. But sometimes I make a joke out of it haha like "you look pretty today!" I'd say "Yeah i know! I'm too sexy!" lol but I only do that to people I know well enough and talk to.

other than that, if it's genuine then i just say thanks and blush times 100000 then forget about it ten days later.
